Sure, the @insta360 Selfie Stick is invisible, but how do you make the suction mount invisible too? We show you the NEW 2023 Insta360 Dual/Triple Suction Cup Car Mount, arguably the BEST Insta360 car mount so far. We then show you how we ERASE it with the help of DaVinci Resolve!
I also answer your most common questions:
1. How do I get rid of the wind-noise,
2. What editing software I use - DaVinci Resolve of course
3. How is the Dual/Triple Car Suction Mount INVISIBLE?

Brilliant...just brilliant. Great video as always. I will definitely check out the Insta360 suction cups. Thanks.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for watching!
I'm looking to get the x3 in the new year! Hoping to attach it to my motorbike. Great inspirational stuff here!
Thank you! Check out our collab channel with our friend James... JayEmm & Friends. Biking content is starting to go up there, and we've already started testing the Insta360 X3 there in the Triton video. More coming soon!
@@sportzntouring appreciate the quick response. I'll go take a look. Keep up the great work
Thank you!
Hey, great content Ant, love the videos on your Z. Any more in the pipeline?
Always something in the pipeline... It's just about time. Seen the latest one with the carbon upgrades and handling tweaks?
Your video review of Insta360 suction cup is the most thorough on CZcams. It clearly demonstrates how to set up the cups on your car. UNIQUELY, you demonstrate how to edit them out with Davinci Resolve. Thanks for an excellent job.
Thank you! I hope the other tips are also helpful. Glad the suction mount section was helpful! Thanks for watching!
The only thing I don't like about these cups are their sky-high price $400. It's the same price as the action camera!
Yeah, true but they are very high quality and I've not seen anything else quite as good or as specialised on the market. Whatever you choose, I appreciate you watching and dropping a comment!
Excellent, detailed video! Thank you so much for this.
You're very welcome!
You're very welcome!
Wow great video. You really spend some time filming and editing..
Thank you! Well, as a small channel, we may not have the audience numbers but we try to make up for that with quality... Seems to be help with working with bigger brands. Also, this is as much a creative outlet as anything else.
Great video! I hope to get the Insta 360 X4 in the near future.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great video Ant, thanks for the time taken to show us the tricks!
My pleasure!!
Awesome production quality, respect Ant! You can see and feel the love for detail and the time and effort that went into creating this epic content! Did you try patch replacer or object removal in DaVinci Resolve in order to get read of the insta360 car mount?
Thank you. Yes, I've tried object removal and it creates a bit of a mess so gave up on that. Patch replacer isn't a feature I've tried so I'll look into that! Thanks!
Mind blowing stuff this 🙌 my 3rd person shots are so wobbly compared to yours 😅 the 360 king 👑
Haha! Thanks Ben!
The new Action Invisible Selfie stick really does make a difference
Nice informative vid Ant. Worth mentioning that Resolve software is super heavy in that you need a very good laptop to run it properly. If using an older or not top spec laptop I'd use something else personally. Would love an insta camera! One day...
Thanks Jamie. I think it depends on what you're using it for. The free version, without all the AI features, shouldn't be too demanding (8GB Ram minimum). There's also an iPad version now, so it's becoming increasingly accessible.
For those concerned, this article has the latest system requirements: www.postud.io/blog/davinci-resolve-system-requirements/
awesome tip for the invisible editing, that was smart
Thank you!
Hello, I was looking for a car mount and just watched you previous video, and it led me to this one, and this one was 10X greater and honestly the best one I have seen from all of CZcams, but i would love to have a link directly to the mounting kit, I search all of Insta360 and I can’t find anything there which has to do with this mount, so please is anyone can help me I would be really thankful, I just bought my Insta360 X3 yesterday 😅❤️
Thank you!
Please expand the pinned comment and it's in the links there. Let me know how you get on 👍
You’re a great photographer and editor. Your work has a high production quality. One thing I’m hoping to figure out how to do is get footage that looks like it’s from a follow car rather than from a drone. If you’re interested in this also, please follow up with a BTS video after you crack the code.
Thank you! We work hard on that.
That's a hard one, but I'll let you know if I figure out the mounting arrangement for that.
Thanks for the great feedback!
Amazing video loved it! How did you get the km/g speed to show right at the end (11:23)
Thank you🙏
For the extra on screen info, If you connect your phone wirelessly via the app and start the recording from the phone, you can then add extra info afterwards in the app or in Insta360 Studio.
Love your videos man! I actually watched your old video where you had that setup and was intending on investing in that once I'd saved up enough money, but this new setup looks much better. Do you think it's worth the extra price (this new mount is quite expensive, especially compared to the old setup)? Also, how would this mount fare on a car that had a vertical rear windscreen with no bootlid (like say a Golf or a compact SUV)? Would the secondary/tertiary suction mount still be able to work as a supporting arm for the selfie stick? Keep up the great work and thanks for the thorough report!
I don't feel like I can answer whether it's worth the extra price for you, but it is a high quality product and it's more versatile so probably will work better on a hatchback or SUV. For which, I think mounting to the roof is likely to work better than the window. Maybe, the side by side suction mounts on the roof with the support mounted on the window? It's hard to say without trying it. Thanks for watching the videos. I hope you check out some of our other regular vlogs!
🤟🏾💯
🤜🏾💥🤛🏾
Thank you, Any advice to reduce wind noise without having to buy additional camera? I just have the X3
In the video, I did give several other tips, but there's one more that I missed:
store.insta360.com/product/x3-mic-wind-muff?insrc=INR8Q2C
Hope that helps!
@sportzntouring thanks for sharing will rewatch for what I missed.
Here's an update on avoiding wind noise, with examples...
czcams.com/users/shortsZV4wFbch4-w?feature=share
I just ordered mine :)
Awesome! Before you try to film something important, take your time testing it out and getting used to cleaning and drying the surface, aligning the cups to the surface and checking for a solid attachment once you pump the suction cups. Then, get creative!
Amazing video. Amazing work. Too bad the car mount is so expensive, even more than the camera, crazy.
Thank you! I'm glad my work can get that level of appreciation.
It is one of the more expensive options for sure, but I appreciate having it especially as I use it on other cars that aren't mine. Repairing those if a cheaper mount fails would be much more expensive. But everyone's needs and ability to afford it will vary of course. Thanks for watching.
swaggyyyyy
Thanks man!
I am concerned about it coming off. There is always a chance it can come off. Do you tie it off with a cable or something to prevent the camera from crashing to the ground?
I don't add any tethers. Not sure how you would, without adding more suction mounts.
I only attach it to a clean, dry, smooth surface, and ensure it's got a solid seal and doesn't move before I drive. I also use quiet roads and never set off if that would mean there's another car behind me... But so far, no problems.
Can the triple suction setup work with the Insta360 carbon selfie stick you used in the previous video?
No, the base of that is too large. This system is designed for the 1m Acton Selfie Stick (links in the description).
@@sportzntouring Dang got the other selfie stick for nothing then LOL
Well, it depends. You can use the suction mounts I showed for use with that instead of the full Insta360 suction mount system. They've all got their compromises.
Do you think it’s safe enough to go faster that 100km/h (62mph)? Have you hit 130km/h with it on?
No, I haven't. The roads I film on have a 60mph limit. I've not gone any faster. If you choose to test it at any faster speeds, it should be on a closed circuit with no risk to any other person or their property... And entirely at your own risk. Just feel I should say that.
By the way, watched both your video about removing the suction cups after the shot, what about high contrast shadows from the selfie stick itself and the suction cup? Have you ever worked under the full sun light? I think they are quite impossible to remove, especially because when the car does a turn, the shadow rotates like a sun-dial. Let me know if you something on that!
Thanks for watching!
Yes, this is a challenge. I've experimented with masking the shadow and trying to colour grade it out but it's a lot more effort and I've not yet succeeded in making it look right. It tends to look worse rather than better. But that may be a limitation in my skillset rather than the tooling.
I'm just hoping AI will advance rapidly enough to remove the suction mounts and shadows automatically sooner rather than later! It's a lot of work each time otherwise.
Yeap, maybe Runway with AI might be the solution!
I don't think it's there yet, but one day.
It is no longer for sale anywhere :( Does anyone have a link to a webshop where I can buy this?
It's in the links in the pinned comment and in the description. To save you time, here it is: store.insta360.com/product/dual-triple-suction-cup-car-mount?insrc=INR8Q2C&KOL&
@@sportzntouring Thanks! I saw that, but the ‘triple suction cup’ like in the video, is out of stock… so does someone has another place where Ican buy it?
@@royenmir there seems to be a few places to buy it, but depends on what region you're in...

@SPORTZNTOURING hey brother i feel a little scammed by this setup in that the insta 360 self stick keeps spinning around at the end . is there a way to fix this? how are you using this stick it makes no sense
Spinning around?! I'm not sure what you mean...Under what circumstances?
Can you send me a short video clip showing/explaining how you've set it up and demonstrate the problem via DM on Instagram: @sportzntouring
Link in the "About" tab.
8:03 Bruh we aint the feds
Lol! But, for real, it's important to know what speeds it's designed for. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the video.
How is low light video quality compared to the x2
Slightly better. In both cases, you do have to tweak the settings in manual. If low light is important to you, I would suggest the ONE RS 360 1-INCH
@@sportzntouring mainly recording night meets so might have to look into that one more
@@Gamesplaytoday there's several videos out there on optimum settings for Insta360 cameras. The 1-inch just has a better chance with the larger lenses and dual 1-inch sensors.
Do you have a video explaining the masking with a bit more detail (perhaps slower for us noobs lol)? You've definitely got a new subscriber here!
No, I don't really want to create a tutorial channel. Just hoping to inspire car enthusiasts with what's possible. Search "DaVinci Resolve Object Removal" or "DaVinci Resolve mask remove object" for more in depth tutorials on the tools. Hope that helps!
@@sportzntouring understandable, thanks a ton!
@@sportzntouring also, thanks so much for this video overall; bought the Insta360 car package right after the video lol
You're welcome. Glad it helped!
Just remember attach to a smooth, clean, dry, surface. Make sure the suction cups are very firmly attached each time.
I keep some quick-detailing spray and window cleaner with 4 microfiber cloths with me at all times when using it.
