Then searched why was actually the purpose and found it interesting. Now I try to do my best, had some slip up here and there but it has been almost 5 years now. Discussing with a friend why there are people like this out there we came to the conclusion that life was to easy on them. Growing in a poor or popular place makes you understand that there are some barriers or issues that are not easy to handle from earlier on in life. So basically as we say in Colombia: They lack the street knowledge. That also made us notice how different life can be for a lot of people and having certain knowledge is not necessarily good nor bad.

Being Mexican and having gone to Mexico often.. the reason why it's easier to be vegan over there, especially if you don't live in a city or big town, is because it's easier and cheaper and they are most likely dirt poor, or barely getting by. I remember being a kid, and visiting my grandparents, and the only time they ate steak, was when my parents sent them money, or we visited and my parents would pay for it because they couldn't afford it. BUT everyone had chickens because they were easy and cheap to keep, but Gram Gram was not afraid to cut off a chicken head and go to her crops, to pick some veggies for some special chicken soup or when they'd crave meat every now and then. My dad would buy a whole ass live pig to slaughter every summer and we would have the whole family over for some fresh meat. My grandpa would slaughter it every time, and he was so good people would hire him, and that also was a way he would get meat because it would be gifted. Beans, lentils, rice and other veggies were either cheap to buy or easy to grow. In our pueblo, it's very common for everyone to have their own crops to survive. It's not because they care to be vegan, they don't always have a choice down there 9 times out of 10 depending on the lifestyle they have.
I definitely love animals, and I've been eating meat my whole life. The thing is, I look at plants as living creatures as well. So why is an animal living creatures life worth more than a plant-based living creature? Because it doesn't have eyes or nose or a heart? It just seems silly to me. Silly and contradictory and completely extreme.. at least on her part. I support any diet someone wants to follow. I believe in allowing people to be who they are and not guilt Trip them because you don't agree with what they put in their body.

I know this is off topic but I need help with my Batman story. I want Catwoman to be older than Batman. In this story, they have a 15 year age gap and I don't know how old to make Batman. How old should he be? I made him 21 but people flip out about age gaps sometimes and I want people to watch this show. I'm 22 and I have a thing for older women so I wanted to include that in my story. Also, I wanted some of the female villains to be Batman's girlfriends before they became villains. For example, maybe Poison Ivy was a scientist and maybe was in a relationship with Bruce before she became Poison Ivy but the problem is that if she is a successful scientist or a college professor she would be in her 40's or something. I'm 22 and I'm into older women but I know people on Twitter would boycott my Batman show because of the age gap so how old should I make Batman? The idea was to make him an adult but not too old but not too young either. Like he's over 18 but not too old. And for the people that will say "the roles were reversed everyone would have an issue" comment. Bruce Wayne's best friend's name is Mallory Moxon and she is the same age as Bruce 21 or 22 and she is in a relationship with Harvey Dent (who will become the villain Two-Face) and he's older than her. Maybe 10 years or older Idk and he's married. I did this so it won't come off as hypocritical or like age gaps are ok when the male is younger but not when the female is younger. How old should I make them?

Meatless Monday and Vegan Friday's in schools result in depriving children of the most nutrient dense food source. I'm not an expert, but I know that the FDA considers meat to be among the most nutrient dense food. Children who are in lower income families who are not being fed a foods with a complete amino acid/vitamin/etc profile really deserve to be fed meat in schools. Im just bringing his point up to say that militant veganism is really messed up. It's great to eat veggies, it's also great to eat meat.

And I’d like to add that yes, in this case since we’re talking about a Hispanic dish, we do eat certain “vegan” dishes. But the majority of the principal dishes we have such as tacos de ojo, cerebro, tripa, etc. Are because when an animal dies we try to get the most out of it and make any possible dish with the organs. Maybe in the US beef tacos are the only ones you see frequently, but in Mexico City we be eating everything out of that mf 🤣

The funniest thing about the pandemic I've seen is even when shelves are empty, no meat products in the supermarket fridge or freezer, the vegan options are still virtually untouched.
