Watch The Streets perform Has It Come To This? back in 2002
From the BBC's flagship music show Later... with Jools Holland. - Hudba
You can not deny the genius of the studio recording, quite a hard song to replicate live.
Sounds better and organic
I wasn’t a fan of The Streets or this song when it came out back in 2002 and it’s still not my bag now. However it was always being played on Radio 1 when I was working a nights in a factory for my first job.
Hearing in again in 2021, transported me back to that time and place. Made me revisit memories of people I knew, my friends, the things did and got up to, and now the people that aren’t around anymore. So for that I enjoyed watching this video and hearing this song again. I’ll probably come back and visit this every now and again. Thanks for the upload 🙂
Also the bass players tone 😃
I have the same vivid portal appear with music to. My portal is similar to yours with this song
@@stressedworried8615 🙂👍🏻
What an artist. Huge shout from the US. Britain really does produce some talent.
Loving The Streets and also other UK electronica based acts like
Faithless, Burial, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Unkle, Autectre, Massive Attack,
Orbital, Leftfield, Stereo Mcs, The Streets, Goldie, Tricky, The Bug, Allflaws
2023... Still relevant.
So many memories to this song 😍
i remember i was just a child when a used to listen to this song. Now i'm a sad and almost frustrated adult.
I first saw Skinner in 2004 suddenly in 'Fit but you know it'!Im French and am a big Streets Fan !

Fit but you know it was my first Streets song as well. They are so good.
What an album timeless 🙌 such a fuckin tune
Good camera quality for 2002
I thought it was like 2015😧😧
Timeless
I like how loose and shaggy this sounds. The jazzy piano mixing with the beats
🔥🔥🔥 2002 tho seems like yday
20 Years On
Mike said " my data's streaming" back in '02? Ahead of his time
So loosely tight…timeless
Love that man, loosely tight.

People don’t realise Mike was probably completely fucked during this.
I wish the black guy would just let mike do his thing without adlibbing every single word
Nah, it works beautifully. And this is the day in the life of a geezer.

@@MoKone5😭😭😭
🤡
Why does he have to be black
Awful
better than their new stuff tho..
One-hit wonders for a reason.
What you on about 1 hit wonder are you f ing maddddd
Not one-hit wonders by any means.
The first album has some great era-defining tracks. Then, A Grand Don't Come for Free and The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living were some brilliant albums that were adventurous, honest and creative. They told a story, took you to a place and time and also had some great individual tracks.
Not many artists can put you in a place and time but every time I hear The Streets I'm right back in 2002.
@First Name first album made it to number 10, second album made it to number 1, and every album since has made it to the top 10 in the charts, not one hit wonders by any means
hahaha why do you spend so much time commenting on youtube videos of music you don’t like, find a better hobby
Not even true, this was his first hit but he had much bigger hits from his second album, Blinded by the Lights, Fit but You Know It, and especially Dry Your Eyes.
