    You clever sod, years ago I had coral draw. used it half a dozen times.
    Coz all I ever got was the outside; mind you I was young, dumb and drunk.
    Really liked this vid, I just maybe able to do this now and do pictures of my mam, dad and wife to put on their head stones.
    Clever you sod.

    Thanks for the great educational video. Would you venture to say, that masking wood while engraving would also help with clearer engravings of images?

    Mike, Sorry I'm late to the party. Just stumbled upon your post. Very helpful, novice woodworker looking to create some projects with engraved photos. I'm just trying to do some homework on what I actually need - i.e. Software, type of engraver, small CNC for my wood shop

    Hi, thanks so much for this. I am following it right to the end perfectly and have transparency until the last instruction to go to Mode and convert to black and white, at that point I lose the transparency so when I engrave i get a light grey where the background was.... Any idea why?

    • @fmeclarke
      @fmeclarke  Před 5 lety

      Hi Chris The issue would be the taper if there is one. This would distort the image as the diameter would change. Might be better to use wet news paper

    Mask for photo-transfer particularly well-presented and explained. It's a somewhat esoteric subject but your communication skill remedied that. Your tutorial on specific applications of Corel Suite for image processing is impressive. We don't get that down here ;^) I'd love to get a tour of your operation and discuss with you. You can find me by being clever with my name and using geographic feature of boulder and the rocky mountain state (as they say here) although in truth it's only "a" rocky mountain state. Not sure how to convey this to you more privately but you have an epidermal edema that could be indicative of a more serious endocrine disorder I hope you can get it looked at.
