  • This episode is the continuation of the explorations shown in the previous episode. It brings you the flavours, stories and actions from a few more popular eateries. And joining us in this trail is our gracious host Gopal Ji who is a local businessman and his two adorable daughters.
The first stop of this evening food tour was Kamraj Egg Center which as the name suggests is famous for their egg related menu. But their current highlight is the chicken dum biryani which is made in a limited quantity. We were lucky to witness the making of a batch. The process is very similar to Hyderabadi Biryani but the process is not as refined as the Hyderabadi one. After this we tried egg half fry which is a soft fried egg topped with a tempering of ginger garlic paste. It was so good that we further tried some fried boiled eggs. The two kids accompanying us had a hearty omelette each. But we were surprised to discover that the favourite egg dish of Riddhi is raw eggs. We didn't believe her completely until she ate it in front of us. Next was the turn of chicken biryani. It was perfectly spiced and quite delicious. There were a good amount of chicken pieces which were tender and juicy.
The second stop was MH 29 tea shop which is named after Yavatmal's pin code. People, mostly youngsters, flock here for a strong cuppa. Tea is a big thing in Maharashtra and a lot of brands have evolved around this favourite beverage. MH 29 too has been making a mark in this space.
