i have a 09 zafia b 1.6 when you start it up it ticks over normal till it warms up then you giet high revs wont go over 2 egr valve and pcv whats wrong
I do agree 100% temperature info MUST be on the dash Two cars I have don't have it and it makes me crazy even on o e of them the other day I connect elm327 with my phone just to see operating temperature when temperature on the dash and something is just starting to go wrong u can prevent it
Aleksandr Zinkevics yes mate doesn't make sense well maybe it does they just want your car to blow up so you have to buy a new one who knows but what I do know is it is stupid
Hi, I Could really use your help I intend to change my tappets on my vw golf 1.4 16v axp petrol, I have looked at your youtube videos, and they are the best I have ever seen on youtube, but I cannot find any detailed videos on changing tappets on vw mk4, so if you could tell me if I have this procedure right or have I left out anything I really don’t want anything to go wrong and I know you are the one to help me out. So this is what I intend to do to change them. Please correct me if I am wrong or forgot something to do. 1: Take off plastic cover and sparkplugs 2: Take off plastic cover of timing belt 3: Take off wheel and splach cover. 4: Take off crankshaft pulley and remove timing belt bottom cover, and screw back in crankshaft screw bolt. 5: Line up timing marks and mark them with tipex, and lock the top two cams. 6: Loosen both timing belt tensioners, remove top cam timingbelt off of cam. 7: Remove camshaft bolts, remove camshaft cover, 8: Remove tappets and keep them in order as they came out. 9: Install new tappets. Clean surface of cam shaft and rocker cover, and apply a thin layer of durko sealant. 10: Apply oil on top of each of the followers, and carefully replace cam cover on top put bolts back in order as they came out. 11: Before tightening down cam bolts, turn crankshaft so pistons are in middle, and then tighten down head bolts to torque and 90 degrees, 12: , put back on crankshaft pulley 13: Then redo timing again, and rotate engine two or three times put back on covers and wheel, and start up car. Hope you can help if I have anything wrong here. PS GREAT VIDEOS YOU HAVE TO DETAIL STEP BY STEP, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
Have you diagnosed a zafira engine that revs itself up but runs ok with the Maf sensor disconnected, we have this problem and have tried and tried to fix it any ideas
hi mate it could be a lot of things on fortunately hard to say as I cannot see your car but you might want to try this I have a link to a video I did before czcams.com/video/c2lJ3uNuOYQ/video.html
We have had 5 maf sensors, 3 ecru and programmed and even tried a new throttle body as a last try we replaced the engine waiting loom but still it revs up when Ideling, no codes on display only seems to have this Ideling problem when the maf sensor in plugged in, but we have tried 5
We have replaced the throttle body but it didn't fix it, would an air leak from the inlet manifold cause this maybe a gasket failure, as all pipes and clamp are new and stainless steel
+Robert Waterfield in that video the throttle body is blocked the one you put on might be blocked as well the problem is that can be 101 reasons why it is doing this and without seeing the car it is very difficult for me to diagnose this problem
Vauxhall GM what where the fuck was thay thinking not to put a temp gauge in I has a fiat like that and put one in off a difrent car all that jest to save on gauges
I can't understand why Vauxhalls don't have a temperature gauge

My friend worries about this in his engine. What temperature range should you car be running at? Any ideas
Arts&Trusts hi mate I'm sure there's a 92 degrees thermostat in these
never understood why some manufacturers try to save a few bucks on not putting a temperature gauge in cars
+Marc Neutelings make no sense to me 2
+bodgitand leggit like your vids, simple and well explained!
