"It's not the first time, unfortunately, that someone has died here," said a resident who is asking the city to do something to make the intersection safer.
While terribly sad, there truly isn't enough traffic traveling left from old Grissom onto Grissom. I live in the area. I take that road daily. I make the right hand turn and, frankly, to those making the left, turn right instead. There are safer ways to get to your destination like the very next turn off Culebra which does arrive at a traffic light on Grissom. Anybody trying to save themselves a few minutes, it's just not worth it.
Yup, people drive crazy, speeding cutting people off, crossing over with no signal the list goes on people need to get off their phone and slow TF down, very simple.
I wonder what time of day they do 'traffic-study' - maybe Sunday morning like 7am? Perhaps that's why that intersection didn't meet the requirements to install a traffic signal? Maybe they need to conduct those study during weekdays like from 7am-9am
They should put a median at the intersection so there are no left turns in or out...people cut through that road when they should be going around through Timberpath.

It’s only deadly because people speed 55-60mph there. A speed camera would fix it!
Uff ! People drive like crazy! No respect the speed limit
It not the road, is the animal's driving.

Intelligent people think before they speak; what they say is then more persuasive

Yes, this. There's no reason to take a left turn from old Grissom onto Grissom.
A light would be cool definitely
Speeding kills
