My two cents, they're both upgrades of what we currently have. If you're ftp, it makes more sense to pull for things we don't have to give yourself more options in clearing content. Pull if you like the character or if you got the cheddar 🐀
Hands down I'm going for Qingyyi. The rest of the banner is kinda ass, but I already have Zhu Yuan and have a thing about lore/story and I love how she works together in the story. 🎉❤
@@ultimateidiot2344 Jane Doe is an anomaly type agent and her passive ( if the leaks are true ) she needs another anomaly type agent with her. Seth buffs anomaly type agents, so you would want to pair her with Seth and Grace for a disorder team, or you can use Jane+Seth+Rina. in both teams Jane is the main dmg dealer so I wouldn't recommend pairing her with Nekomata or any other attack type agent.
@@markhuiSeth and Jane have an amazing synergy, but nekomata feels misplaced here since she pretty much needs a support who can proc quick assist fairly often or stunners for her burst play style. Seth can proc quick assist but he needs lots of energy and would waste his anomaly proficiency buff on nekomata instead of Jane. Your best next choice would be pulling Qingyi to ensure Jane’s chore skill is active and have stun windows for dps, but that team requires two limited S ranks…
Honestly I do think Anby is under estimated, because like many you complain about having to dodge mid combo, but Anby loves doing dodge counters. Both her passive and her signature increase her energy when she does dodge counter, which then allows her to spam her ex special quite a lot. Though I don't doubt for a second that Qingyi will be a clear upgrade over Anby.
The reality is that a large portion if not the majority of the player base still only has Anby as their sole Stun unit. Pulling a Lycaon or Koleda is a matter of RNG that can't be accounted for. Qingyi stonks are high simply because Hoyo left us with basically no other guaranteed Stun option.
I actually skipped both 1.0 banners and plan to go for both 1.1 banners! And I do wanna say, as someone utterly swept away by how much I'm enjoying ZZZ as a counterbalance to genshin, it's so good to hear you planning more videos! Best of luck testing!
Robo Feiren. Smash until she blue screens. Next question. In all seriousness. A Stunner that can be paired with any attack unit is such a cheat code and I can easily see her being the defacto Stunner for most teams going forwards.
@brubie7584 If you are going for QingYi over Jane you are probably running 2 stunners. I bet more people with QingYi are still going to run more Amby on the other team than Corin.
billy has one of the hardest hitting ults in game since you can use it in his crouching shot stance. Add that plus his faction passive maxed out is 150% more ult dmg if your passive is maxed out. Test it out yourself, the increase is noticable.
@@Thedoorway123 how is Neko better? She's faster than him, but not better without any dupes or her weapon. Even with those, her ult is still worse than his even with the back attacks. Just cause he's an A rank doesn't mean he's worse. I even gave them the same set and weapon. No testing was done on Ellen tho, cause I didn't pull her so I wouldn't know.
@bossyt3405 she literally does more damage. Just run the calcs. Why would a 5 star be worse than a 4 star? I own neko, so I would know, and I also have ellen, and she's significantly better and has better team synergy
Piper is on the store this month bro... as on my pulls, i will wait on tests for QY to see if i actually is a notorious upgrade on Anby, because if not, I will save my pulls.
They're similar when it comes to re-stuns. First stun Anby with equal investment will pull ahead in Shiyu Defense, and Anby has better synergy with the BP Stun weapon. But for damage output, Qingyi is going to be unrivaled in class for a while (1700%+ atk on her charged normal), she also uses Anby's signature weapon better than her. From her Impact-to-Attack conversion and absurdly high damage multipliers, and her Tribe passive needing Attackers; she's going to be flexible in a lot of team comps for a while. We don't have many stuns in the leaked roadmap but we got a few attackers. Also for comparison on Qingyi to other stunners, it's better to compare to Lycaon as well. Assuming lv12, max core, shockstar, and 200 impact: Lycaon: 1265 - 2477 (charged) impact in one combo Anby: 1271 (Thunderbolt) - 2857 (EX) - 3368 (EX > Thunderbolt) Qingyi: 807 - 2362 (approximate) + 2645 - 4482 with her stacked charge normal. Or: Lycaon has consistent stun. Anby has fastest on-demand stun. Qingyi has highest highs but lowest lows
Good plan, I will wait a bit too. From my playing so far, anby feels pretty bad to use against difficult bosses in shiyu defense. She only really applies daze on her later attacks and her attack string is easily interrupted by enemy attacks or reset when you dash
I like how jane looks, but I REALLY need to start working on shiyu defense and need a second stun so I think I'll go for qingyi and try for jane with whatever's left
I'm very happy with anby, and I'm glad you addressed one of her ACTUAL main downsides since people often complain she's slow at releasing daze when it's not the case, other stunners release daze more consistently over a whole combo is all (not back or frontloaded).
8:45 yes genshin has new 4 star weapons be limited, but HSR has new 4 star LCs added to the generic pool. So its a toss up which they go for, hopefully the HSR style.
Piper isnt on Janes banner because the 4-stars that match the PREVIOUS 5-star on the banners are there to allow players that missed the previous banner can still have that element/class For those that miss out on Zhu Yen you get physical attackers to pair with Jane on Qingyis banner, and then on Janes banner we get Anbi to make up for peeps not rolling for Qingyi, and on the 1.2 banner we get Piper to make up for those that didnt roll for Jane, so on so forth.
help, so i have these 3 dps ellen nekomata zhu yuan i dont know who to pull in 1.1😢 i have lycaon and soukaku for my ellen, my nekomata and zhu yuan have the same team, it's anby and nicole. should i pull for qingyi or jane?
Qingyi is a really cracked stunner, more than that, her passive activates with ANY attack unite, so basically she will fit any team, except anomaly based, because most of them don't have an attacker in team composition. Jane Doe will be a big upgrade to anomaly teams, so it just depends on your playstyle, and the character you like most based on gameplay or looks.
personally if i were you, i wouldn't bother with qingyi since you alrdy have 2 decent stunners. if u want to play new team or you like jane, u can go for her. Else, just wait for 1.2
I am so glad I used the monthly shop to pick up Lucy last month and now piper is in the shop this month. I was really banking on getting piper + Lucy because I didn’t really like many of the main dps this far so I haven’t even pulled on limited been saving all this time because I really like Qingyi’s model. Too bad the 4* aren’t that exciting but maybe high con Corrin will be good, but I didn’t really like her playstyle when I was testing her out. Been getting a little burnt out of zzz lately forcing myself to do the weekly hollow zero and I’m very far behind on random missions (mainly from balancing Wuwa and Genshin, it’s hard to keep up w/ all 3 and also work / live life).
JellBro - videos I'd love to see on this channel, since we're still early game and pre/reviewing characters is still substantially a guessing game: - daily routines/routes, which coffees/noodles to use and what tasks to not miss - longer-term (weekly/monthly) tasks; is buying from the convenience store bangboos worth it, what to prioritize in the monthly Fading Signals resets, etc - what missions to prioritize for a smooth experience and to not miss out on event or reward opportunities ... with character story, character relationship, street missions, re-doing story on Hard, hollow zero / defense - there's already a lot of stuff to do and I'm worried I'll get roadblocked. For example - common new player issues in Gensh are that you can't do anything Inazuma-related until clearing certain quests and hitting AR20-30 too fast before your character levels can deal with it - but you want to get those unlocked ASAP to do all the limited events and level inazuma characters. - hollow zero tips and tricks: should I take the loanshark loans? should I do the bank deposits? how bad is pressure vs hp loss vs gearcoin loss? Which characters have special abilities (i.e. Nicole disarms traps)?

I think who you pull for in 1.1 is going to depend on which of your teams needs the most help. For me personally my Zhu Yuan team absolutely shreds in Shiyu Defense, so while I would like Qingyi over Anby that won't actually help me get a faster clear in the harder stages. I am gonna go for Jane because my second team is Rina/Grace/Piper disorder and the damage on that team is severely lacking compared to Zhu Yuan
Seth gives anomaly mastery (buildup rate, not proficiency) to your other units, which is usually not a stat that is easy to get + shielding for comfort
Im probably gonna go for qingyi, since I have zhu yuan, anby, and nicole built for my first team, but I have ellen and soukaku with no lycaon, so I can just switch anby over to them.
I have a max dupe sokaku and have tried her in, my lycaon, ellen team, but I really don't like her gameplay at all she is far too slow! For my taste, so I went back using Reina

Why did you say that it's better for F2P to have gotten Ellen and skipped Zhu Yuan? Ellen wants Lycaon, who is a 5 star standard banner. Zhu Yuan only wants Nicole and Anby, who are both free characters and Nicole was also on her banner.
Im skipping qingyi, anby is enough. Jane doe should be a meta for a while considering she is a unique anomaly character. But more importantly, she's hot n give off a vibe that she will actively tease u to do something naughty together 😇
Thankfully I did not wait for qingyi and go for the zhuyuan m1 I already have corin m6, but I’ll pull in the Jane banner just for more Anby copies and try luck haha
My plan for now is to go for a coin flip on Qingyi, and if I lose it, I'll skip her and pick up Jane instead. In her leaked kit (which may not be final), Jane enables Anomaly stuff to crit, and people are comparing her to Kafka as potentially being a character who enables an entire team archetype. I'd wait until we see her finalized kit and numbers though.
Bad 4 Stars means Good 5 star, They know most people are gonna skip to save for Jane and then regret it later and buy Qinyis rerun then release a powercreep version of her 2 patches later.
I know it ain't enough but I got about 56 pulls so far for baby gurl Jane, I lucked out and got a double pull for the bangvolver boo so I'm shooting for my second team to be physical based
I’ll do a few 10 pulls on Jane for Seth and Anby copies, and if I get lucky Jane can come too. After that, will probably save for 1.2- they should add Seth’s drive to the banner, but it would be very Hoyoverse to have tragically terrible weapon availability.

I’m sitting at 30k polychromes as a battlepass/welkin only player. None of the limited characters so far appeal to me at all lol. But I’ll pulling on the Qingyi banner until I C6 Billy.
I got rina and then her W engine on standard. Didn’t get Ellen because I came a week before her banner was gone. I’ve been saving as a f2p to get the next Ellen banner. My team rn is Anby, Billy, and Rina I like Billy’s character even though he’s bad. I have now gotten to Interknot 40 and have 17515 polychrome. I pray for the day I can spend on Ellen Banner.

For the soldier 11 team use Ben as a stunner with “Original Transmorpher ”. No need to go for Qinyi for that team. Qinyi is for the team Zhu Yuan+Qinyi+Nicole
spoiler alert, future new game mode will include survival mode to try to live as long as possible- anomaly disorder team (2 anomaly chars with 1 def char) is more important since infinite enemies spawn are basically non stunnable/decibel reduction units.
I’m so pumped that Anby is on Jane’s banner, she and Nicole are my favorite A-rank units. I was able to max Nicole on Zhu’s banner and I’m hoping to max Anby as well during my -Mommy- Jane pulls.
Okay, good breakdown. I have Ellen and Zhu Yuan (got lucky) and am a Neko enjoyer so I guess I will just go for Qingyi even tho you are not making her sound very good
Zhu Yuan is a must for ether floors. One dps of every kind is probably the f2p strat if those shields stay like that. Ellen was important for the start because ice dps. Qingyi is a luxury unit or if you dont have Koleda or Wolfguy. Jane is probably just meta but we have physical dps already so its for luxury.
For bangboos, the 4* elemental boos are all amazing. Most 5* bangboos are just a trap currently. I expect faction boos to be the best boos moving forward

I think one should just choose those boos that fit their 2 current team and enjoy game in the moment. You will get your third chance for another S rank boo pretty soon, and eventually you will catch them all. So chill🤙
I think I'ma go for Jane Doe and Seth team. It'll be a good second team and that 3rd slot I've seen people use Grace or Rina. And I have Rina on my account, so that might be a sick combo.
I feel like the section 6 group might be in 1.2. They show up before the biker gang in the promo, we played with some of them as backup agents in a quest, and you can already see a few of them in the open world. Also miyabi was in the beta
I have Ellen and her signature wengine. I pulled Rina and her signature from standard banner so far. 19 away from Zhu Yuan hard pity. Things not looking good, I guess I'll save for Jane and pray. Zhu Yuan is such a cool character though. I like playing as a cop.
In my opinion, weapon banners should be made more similar to bangboo and not have a shared resource with characters. Having both standard and limited pulls running off of polychromes is bad enough. Let the whales roll for mindscapes, make weapons more f2p friendly, like perhaps being able to farm components to build a weapon of your choice after like a month or two of grinding for it.
Gonna wait for last day of Qinqyi banner and see if by that time any leaks for next characters exsist. Then I can decide if i want qinqyi, jane or any of the new characters since if have to choose carefully as f2p
Leaks already exist, ever since day 1 of 1.0. In 1.2 there will be Harumasa & Yanagi as 5 stars from Section 6 (the same squad as Soukaku, you can see them in the cutscene in Hollow Zero around the time you first encounter Nineveh), and also Lighter as a 4 star (the dude from Sons of Calydon, you can sometimes bump into him when exploring Lumina Square), 1.3 is rumoured to have Miyabi (from Section 6), and "King" (the leader of Sons of Calydon, the female with sword & shield), both 5 stars, as well as Burnice as 4 star (Sons of Calydon, the girl with two ponytails & sort of a flame thrower on her back, she's in one of the trailers on the official channel).

Why wouldn't they add Seth's W-Engine to the normal banner? Are you comparing this to Genshin and new 5-star Characters that get added to the standard banner after their first Banner and their signature weapon? Or how did you get that idea? You might have something mixed up because in ZZZ, 4-stars (A-ranks) also have signature weapons? I see no chance in hell that they add an A-rank agent into the normal banner, but don't add their A-rank signature w-engine with them. Why even make signature w-engines for A-ranks at that point? Now, there could be an event-exclusive w-engine that would be 5x better than the signature and people who missed it are out of luck, that's one matter... but to design character and w-engine as a pair and then don't let people have that pair is a completely different thing. That's designing something counter to it's use and just wasted work because nobody (ok, somebody would... gacha players are crazy like that) would roll on Janes w-engine banner to get seth's w-engine.
For me, I think that skipping Zhu Yuan and going for Jane is the play because the rate of discs is horrible. Having an Ice+Anomaly domain sounds super effective since I got Ellen Joe.

Jane would work amazing with grace (disorder team) but you already have piper and you dont have 2nd stunner so qingyi would be cool to have. If I was in your boots i would still pick jane but thats cause Im a simp
Simply put: Qingyi: S-Rank Anby with nunchucks Jane: A better Piper (but still, technically an S-Rank Piper). Me personally: Saving up just to get Anby to C6; if Jane comes home, she’s more than welcome. Good luck to all of you looking to get her, and/or Qingyi.
I've been lucky so far and have Ellen Joe and Zhu Yuan. I tried for Ellen Joe's weapon but never got an S Rank during that time. Then I threw two searches at Zhu Yuan's weapon and got it. I am planning on getting both S ranks for the upcoming banners but if my luck runs out, I'll be fine. I'm not pressed with ZZZ, just having fun. I love the animations, the designs, and the music. No, I didn't get Piper yet, oh well. I do have Nicole at c6 and she's fantastic. Looking forward to what you're cooking, Jello!

I like the team my game has forced on me (electric Belobog) but not the "second team" so I just finally need a character I choose. 🙏🏾💕
Spent about $600 to get Zhu Yuan to M6/R2. While I'm happy with that, I agree with your take on not going for the W-Engine banner unless it's absolutely necessary for clears. I see F2P people who have progressed better than I have by generally being luckier, but also managing their resources better (hat tip to them). Maybe not bull rush maxing anyone else to M6 anytime soon. Also playing Sword of Convalleria and Reverse: 1999 on the side to whet that gacha appetite. 🙂 That said, I'm going to get Qingyi and the Pub Sec Bangboo. Sucks that they put Seth in the Jane Doe banner as I wanted to make a full CISRT team so I might forego getting him, but boy is that Charge Blade-ish mechanic tempting.
As a F2P I've been really lucky. I am missing 4 Agents, that being Lycaon, Soldier 11, Koleda and Rina. I am not that huge of a fan of Anomaly teams. So I will be 100% be pulling for Qingyi. The fact that you can pair her with any attack agent is great and future proof. Currently Zhu Yuan lets me 2-3 stun cycle pretty much all bosses with her ult. Her Core skill giving her all that crit is so broken. Currently Sitting at 64% crit rate and 154% crit damage while using the Street Superstar W Engine.
Qinyi applies a buff to stun dmg from 200 to 260% so she might be a very popular buffer. But I have lycaon and anby already so I don't know I wanna go for Jane doe as anomaly seems fun, I have piper and enjoy her playstyle. Plus anby is on the banner, with constellations and signature weapon I'm sure she's great although no buffs, just pure stun
if you want the hair glow you can still pull the signature then equip only once. the hair glow stays even if you change engines after that and it just become a toggle
I going for qingyi. i don't have second stunner for team two, i have both ellen and zhu yuan, so qingyi more benefit for me than Jane, and in my opinion when i already play other game of hoyoverse, qingyi look like an supporter or sustain in other game, and support character are more value and can be use long term, her passive make her can go with any attacker and that will help us have lot of option in team building.
Remember: Other CCs' job is to get you to pull. They are on HYV's side. Use your head. It's okay to struggle and fail as this is the first month of the game. You will eventually have pulled all of the "solutions" to the endgame and it won't be fun anymore: just a bi weekly chore like Abyss in Genshin. Embrace this. CC's are all making HUGE sums of money off of HYV clicks. They are psychologically manipulating you into thinking that you NEED agents. Look at the thumb nails: "AMAZING UNIT! LIFE CHANGING UNIT! SUPER POWERFUL UNIT! YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW THEY DO YOUR TAXES!" and all that. Qingyi is 5 star Anby. That's it. Jane is basically five star Piper. If you want "bigger number", go with them, but we have electric stun and phys anomaly. Unironically? Zhu Yuan and Ellen were things that we didn't have: Attackers for Ether and Ice. I'm saving for Miyabi because I'm a slave to fox girls. I won't be swayed by CC propaganda. Pull who you like and make it work. I'm building a Corin team because I love her and she's best girl and I'm using my 300th pull standard thing for Von Lycaon for her team if I don't get him from free pulls. Do whatever brings you happiness. I seriously don't vibe with Zhu Yuan. No problem. If I don't vibe with Miyabi's crew or Miyabi herself, truly...then I'll look to Caesar and the rest of the Sons of Calydon like Lighter and that other chick in the trailer. I made the mistake of pulling for power in Genshin and it RUINED the game for me: Abyss is a literal chore of pulling out my OP units to mop the floor and brute force Abyss, so much so that I built a DPS Faruzan and DPS Heizou team for fun and other four star teams. NO UNIT IN ZZZ IS BAD. NO UNIT IN ZZZ IS NEEDED. HYV games are made to be EASIER on purpose. Have self respect, know yourself, treat yourself. Don't let anyone sell you what YOU should want. You want Qingyi? Pull within reason. You want Jane? Great. Pull responsibly. You don't want them? It's whatever. TLDR: THERE ARE ALWAYS RERUNS, FOLKS. BE PATIENT. OR SAVE.
F2P Zhu Gyuatt main here but Im skipping Qingyi. Anby is already good enough. Sure, shes power crept, but Zhu + Nicole melt everything in the game as is. Better to save my pulls for Jane and Seth for the anomaly team with Grace.
Zhu Yuan completely wiped me out: primos, starglitter, everything. So as much as I need another stunner right now, Qingyi is just not going to happen. Coping that I will get one of the standard stunners at some point. Not particularly sold on Jane Doe, but will try and snipe a copy of Seth from a few 10-pulls on her banner, and if I hit her I hit her. Rest of savings will be on lockdown in prep for foxian samurai Miyabi in the near future.
I have lycaon and zhu yuan so for me is a no brainer, pull for Qingyi and wait for Miyabi. So Zhu yuan will have her stuner Qingyi that is also from the same faction and Nicole. And Lycaon will be with Miyabi and a Soukaku
So the thing is. I got Ellen on my 50/50. Got Zhu yuan. On a 50/50. Ellen was soft Pity. And Zhu yuan was low-key hard. I kinda want Jane and qingyi. I'll probably drop money. I also have solder 11 C1 and nekomata
A good stun character is so important in this game, replacing Anby with Qingyi should be a significant upgrade! Fingers-cross! and i agree with you, anby’s stun is very backloaded, often have to dodge before im able to use her ex skills 😰
Maybe I’ll wait for a limited fire DPS, or just pickup qingyi so when a fire DPS does come out I can steal Koleda from zhu yuan. I definitely agree that anby is usable but even compared to a standard 5 star like Koleda she’s no where near as good

Skipped Zhu Yuan for Ellen and skipping Jane for Qingyi. Waiting for Miyabi. I think solider 11 and Ellen as my main dps characters will hold me over for a while.
If you're minmaxing you probably should skip Qingyi for Jane Doe. Since Jane has Anby on her banner, you'll probably M6 Anby pretty easily. Even if Qingyi is better, M6 Anby should be relatively comparable. That being said, they should have put Piper as the other A-rank for Qingyi instead of 2 Physical Attackers. That way people could do the reverse to skip Jane entirely to pull for Qingyi.

@@markhuiSeth and Jane have an amazing synergy, but nekomata feels misplaced here since she pretty much needs a support who can proc quick assist fairly often or stunners for her burst play style. Seth can proc quick assist but he needs lots of energy and would waste his anomaly proficiency buff on nekomata instead of Jane. Your best next choice would be pulling Qingyi to ensure Jane’s chore skill is active and have stun windows for dps, but that team requires two limited S ranks…
So far every A rank Agent except for Piper and Lucy has been in a banner, it feels like patch 1.2 might be Sons of Calydon
And for some reasons I own both; I got only weapons, copies of stuff that I own and them. XD
Additionally Lucy was on June's store and Piper on August's. If people were lucky enough they might have all the current A-ranks
Honestly I do think Anby is under estimated, because like many you complain about having to dodge mid combo, but Anby loves doing dodge counters. Both her passive and her signature increase her energy when she does dodge counter, which then allows her to spam her ex special quite a lot.
Though I don't doubt for a second that Qingyi will be a clear upgrade over Anby.

The reality is that a large portion if not the majority of the player base still only has Anby as their sole Stun unit. Pulling a Lycaon or Koleda is a matter of RNG that can't be accounted for. Qingyi stonks are high simply because Hoyo left us with basically no other guaranteed Stun option.
I actually skipped both 1.0 banners and plan to go for both 1.1 banners! And I do wanna say, as someone utterly swept away by how much I'm enjoying ZZZ as a counterbalance to genshin, it's so good to hear you planning more videos! Best of luck testing!

billy has one of the hardest hitting ults in game since you can use it in his crouching shot stance. Add that plus his faction passive maxed out is 150% more ult dmg if your passive is maxed out. Test it out yourself, the increase is noticable.

Piper in store feels like scam tho. For one piper you can have 7 pulls
They're similar when it comes to re-stuns. First stun Anby with equal investment will pull ahead in Shiyu Defense, and Anby has better synergy with the BP Stun weapon.
But for damage output, Qingyi is going to be unrivaled in class for a while (1700%+ atk on her charged normal), she also uses Anby's signature weapon better than her. From her Impact-to-Attack conversion and absurdly high damage multipliers, and her Tribe passive needing Attackers; she's going to be flexible in a lot of team comps for a while. We don't have many stuns in the leaked roadmap but we got a few attackers.
Also for comparison on Qingyi to other stunners, it's better to compare to Lycaon as well. Assuming lv12, max core, shockstar, and 200 impact:
Lycaon: 1265 - 2477 (charged) impact in one combo
Anby: 1271 (Thunderbolt) - 2857 (EX) - 3368 (EX > Thunderbolt)
Qingyi: 807 - 2362 (approximate) + 2645 - 4482 with her stacked charge normal.
Or: Lycaon has consistent stun. Anby has fastest on-demand stun. Qingyi has highest highs but lowest lows
Good plan, I will wait a bit too. From my playing so far, anby feels pretty bad to use against difficult bosses in shiyu defense. She only really applies daze on her later attacks and her attack string is easily interrupted by enemy attacks or reset when you dash

I'm very happy with anby, and I'm glad you addressed one of her ACTUAL main downsides since people often complain she's slow at releasing daze when it's not the case, other stunners release daze more consistently over a whole combo is all (not back or frontloaded).
Seth is built for Jane, her provide a lot of buffs that's specific for an anomaly character, also he is a sub-stunner...

For those that miss out on Zhu Yen you get physical attackers to pair with Jane on Qingyis banner, and then on Janes banner we get Anbi to make up for peeps not rolling for Qingyi, and on the 1.2 banner we get Piper to make up for those that didnt roll for Jane, so on so forth.

Qingyi is a really cracked stunner, more than that, her passive activates with ANY attack unite, so basically she will fit any team, except anomaly based, because most of them don't have an attacker in team composition. Jane Doe will be a big upgrade to anomaly teams, so it just depends on your playstyle, and the character you like most based on gameplay or looks.
personally if i were you, i wouldn't bother with qingyi since you alrdy have 2 decent stunners. if u want to play new team or you like jane, u can go for her. Else, just wait for 1.2
I am so glad I used the monthly shop to pick up Lucy last month and now piper is in the shop this month. I was really banking on getting piper + Lucy because I didn’t really like many of the main dps this far so I haven’t even pulled on limited been saving all this time because I really like Qingyi’s model. Too bad the 4* aren’t that exciting but maybe high con Corrin will be good, but I didn’t really like her playstyle when I was testing her out. Been getting a little burnt out of zzz lately forcing myself to do the weekly hollow zero and I’m very far behind on random missions (mainly from balancing Wuwa and Genshin, it’s hard to keep up w/ all 3 and also work / live life).

- daily routines/routes, which coffees/noodles to use and what tasks to not miss
- longer-term (weekly/monthly) tasks; is buying from the convenience store bangboos worth it, what to prioritize in the monthly Fading Signals resets, etc
- what missions to prioritize for a smooth experience and to not miss out on event or reward opportunities ... with character story, character relationship, street missions, re-doing story on Hard, hollow zero / defense - there's already a lot of stuff to do and I'm worried I'll get roadblocked. For example - common new player issues in Gensh are that you can't do anything Inazuma-related until clearing certain quests and hitting AR20-30 too fast before your character levels can deal with it - but you want to get those unlocked ASAP to do all the limited events and level inazuma characters.
- hollow zero tips and tricks: should I take the loanshark loans? should I do the bank deposits? how bad is pressure vs hp loss vs gearcoin loss? Which characters have special abilities (i.e. Nicole disarms traps)?

I think who you pull for in 1.1 is going to depend on which of your teams needs the most help. For me personally my Zhu Yuan team absolutely shreds in Shiyu Defense, so while I would like Qingyi over Anby that won't actually help me get a faster clear in the harder stages. I am gonna go for Jane because my second team is Rina/Grace/Piper disorder and the damage on that team is severely lacking compared to Zhu Yuan
Seth gives anomaly mastery (buildup rate, not proficiency) to your other units, which is usually not a stat that is easy to get + shielding for comfort
Im probably gonna go for qingyi, since I have zhu yuan, anby, and nicole built for my first team, but I have ellen and soukaku with no lycaon, so I can just switch anby over to them.

Why did you say that it's better for F2P to have gotten Ellen and skipped Zhu Yuan? Ellen wants Lycaon, who is a 5 star standard banner. Zhu Yuan only wants Nicole and Anby, who are both free characters and Nicole was also on her banner.
Im skipping qingyi, anby is enough. Jane doe should be a meta for a while considering she is a unique anomaly character. But more importantly, she's hot n give off a vibe that she will actively tease u to do something naughty together 😇
Thankfully I did not wait for qingyi and go for the zhuyuan m1 I already have corin m6, but I’ll pull in the Jane banner just for more Anby copies and try luck haha
My plan for now is to go for a coin flip on Qingyi, and if I lose it, I'll skip her and pick up Jane instead. In her leaked kit (which may not be final), Jane enables Anomaly stuff to crit, and people are comparing her to Kafka as potentially being a character who enables an entire team archetype. I'd wait until we see her finalized kit and numbers though.

Bad 4 Stars means Good 5 star, They know most people are gonna skip to save for Jane and then regret it later and buy Qinyis rerun then release a powercreep version of her 2 patches later.
You can enable the hair-glow without the signature as long as you've equipped it once. It's the red toggle right below the w-engine.
My tip on planning you pulls prepare for full 90 pity and lost 5050.
I know it ain't enough but I got about 56 pulls so far for baby gurl Jane, I lucked out and got a double pull for the bangvolver boo so I'm shooting for my second team to be physical based
I’ll do a few 10 pulls on Jane for Seth and Anby copies, and if I get lucky Jane can come too. After that, will probably save for 1.2- they should add Seth’s drive to the banner, but it would be very Hoyoverse to have tragically terrible weapon availability.

I got rina and then her W engine on standard. Didn’t get Ellen because I came a week before her banner was gone. I’ve been saving as a f2p to get the next Ellen banner. My team rn is Anby, Billy, and Rina I like Billy’s character even though he’s bad. I have now gotten to Interknot 40 and have 17515 polychrome. I pray for the day I can spend on Ellen Banner.

For the soldier 11 team use Ben as a stunner with “Original Transmorpher ”. No need to go for Qinyi for that team. Qinyi is for the team Zhu Yuan+Qinyi+Nicole
spoiler alert, future new game mode will include survival mode to try to live as long as possible- anomaly disorder team (2 anomaly chars with 1 def char) is more important since infinite enemies spawn are basically non stunnable/decibel reduction units.
I’m so pumped that Anby is on Jane’s banner, she and Nicole are my favorite A-rank units. I was able to max Nicole on Zhu’s banner and I’m hoping to max Anby as well during my -Mommy- Jane pulls.

Zhu Yuan is a must for ether floors. One dps of every kind is probably the f2p strat if those shields stay like that.
Ellen was important for the start because ice dps.
Qingyi is a luxury unit or if you dont have Koleda or Wolfguy.
Jane is probably just meta but we have physical dps already so its for luxury.
For bangboos, the 4* elemental boos are all amazing. Most 5* bangboos are just a trap currently. I expect faction boos to be the best boos moving forward

I feel like the section 6 group might be in 1.2. They show up before the biker gang in the promo, we played with some of them as backup agents in a quest, and you can already see a few of them in the open world. Also miyabi was in the beta

Zhu Yuan is such a cool character though. I like playing as a cop.
In my opinion, weapon banners should be made more similar to bangboo and not have a shared resource with characters.
Having both standard and limited pulls running off of polychromes is bad enough.
Let the whales roll for mindscapes, make weapons more f2p friendly, like perhaps being able to farm components to build a weapon of your choice after like a month or two of grinding for it.
Gonna wait for last day of Qinqyi banner and see if by that time any leaks for next characters exsist. Then I can decide if i want qinqyi, jane or any of the new characters since if have to choose carefully as f2p
Leaks already exist, ever since day 1 of 1.0. In 1.2 there will be Harumasa & Yanagi as 5 stars from Section 6 (the same squad as Soukaku, you can see them in the cutscene in Hollow Zero around the time you first encounter Nineveh), and also Lighter as a 4 star (the dude from Sons of Calydon, you can sometimes bump into him when exploring Lumina Square), 1.3 is rumoured to have Miyabi (from Section 6), and "King" (the leader of Sons of Calydon, the female with sword & shield), both 5 stars, as well as Burnice as 4 star (Sons of Calydon, the girl with two ponytails & sort of a flame thrower on her back, she's in one of the trailers on the official channel).
I felt that on Anby, I ended up getting Rina and Grace so I run them with Anton now and that is so much smoother for me

Why wouldn't they add Seth's W-Engine to the normal banner? Are you comparing this to Genshin and new 5-star Characters that get added to the standard banner after their first Banner and their signature weapon? Or how did you get that idea?
You might have something mixed up because in ZZZ, 4-stars (A-ranks) also have signature weapons? I see no chance in hell that they add an A-rank agent into the normal banner, but don't add their A-rank signature w-engine with them. Why even make signature w-engines for A-ranks at that point?
Now, there could be an event-exclusive w-engine that would be 5x better than the signature and people who missed it are out of luck, that's one matter... but to design character and w-engine as a pair and then don't let people have that pair is a completely different thing. That's designing something counter to it's use and just wasted work because nobody (ok, somebody would... gacha players are crazy like that) would roll on Janes w-engine banner to get seth's w-engine.

For me, I think that skipping Zhu Yuan and going for Jane is the play because the rate of discs is horrible. Having an Ice+Anomaly domain sounds super effective since I got Ellen Joe.
Here's my roster: Soldier 11, Grace, Rina, Zhu Yuan, Anby, Nicole, Billy, Corin, Anton, Ben, Lucy, Piper and Soukaku.

Jane would work amazing with grace (disorder team) but you already have piper and you dont have 2nd stunner so qingyi would be cool to have. If I was in your boots i would still pick jane but thats cause Im a simp

I've been lucky so far and have Ellen Joe and Zhu Yuan. I tried for Ellen Joe's weapon but never got an S Rank during that time. Then I threw two searches at Zhu Yuan's weapon and got it. I am planning on getting both S ranks for the upcoming banners but if my luck runs out, I'll be fine. I'm not pressed with ZZZ, just having fun. I love the animations, the designs, and the music. No, I didn't get Piper yet, oh well. I do have Nicole at c6 and she's fantastic. Looking forward to what you're cooking, Jello!
I'm always interested in what you're cooking, but I'm definitely going for the gauranteed Jane Doe. I am oblivious enough to think Anby is a good enough consolation for skipping Qingyi. I like the team my game has forced on me (electric Belobog) but not the "second team" so I just finally need a character I choose. 🙏🏾💕

Spent about $600 to get Zhu Yuan to M6/R2. While I'm happy with that, I agree with your take on not going for the W-Engine banner unless it's absolutely necessary for clears. I see F2P people who have progressed better than I have by generally being luckier, but also managing their resources better (hat tip to them).
Maybe not bull rush maxing anyone else to M6 anytime soon. Also playing Sword of Convalleria and Reverse: 1999 on the side to whet that gacha appetite. 🙂
That said, I'm going to get Qingyi and the Pub Sec Bangboo. Sucks that they put Seth in the Jane Doe banner as I wanted to make a full CISRT team so I might forego getting him, but boy is that Charge Blade-ish mechanic tempting.

As a F2P I've been really lucky. I am missing 4 Agents, that being Lycaon, Soldier 11, Koleda and Rina. I am not that huge of a fan of Anomaly teams.
So I will be 100% be pulling for Qingyi. The fact that you can pair her with any attack agent is great and future proof.
Currently Zhu Yuan lets me 2-3 stun cycle pretty much all bosses with her ult. Her Core skill giving her all that crit is so broken. Currently Sitting at 64% crit rate and 154% crit damage while using the Street Superstar W Engine.
I imagine billy could be good with his c2, if you keep using his "-> + Attack" to do dodge counters.
Qinyi applies a buff to stun dmg from 200 to 260% so she might be a very popular buffer. But I have lycaon and anby already so I don't know
I wanna go for Jane doe as anomaly seems fun, I have piper and enjoy her playstyle. Plus anby is on the banner, with constellations and signature weapon I'm sure she's great although no buffs, just pure stun

I going for qingyi. i don't have second stunner for team two, i have both ellen and zhu yuan, so qingyi more benefit for me than Jane, and in my opinion when i already play other game of hoyoverse, qingyi look like an supporter or sustain in other game, and support character are more value and can be use long term, her passive make her can go with any attacker and that will help us have lot of option in team building.

Remember: Other CCs' job is to get you to pull. They are on HYV's side. Use your head. It's okay to struggle and fail as this is the first month of the game. You will eventually have pulled all of the "solutions" to the endgame and it won't be fun anymore: just a bi weekly chore like Abyss in Genshin. Embrace this. CC's are all making HUGE sums of money off of HYV clicks. They are psychologically manipulating you into thinking that you NEED agents. Look at the thumb nails: "AMAZING UNIT! LIFE CHANGING UNIT! SUPER POWERFUL UNIT! YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW THEY DO YOUR TAXES!" and all that. Qingyi is 5 star Anby. That's it. Jane is basically five star Piper. If you want "bigger number", go with them, but we have electric stun and phys anomaly. Unironically? Zhu Yuan and Ellen were things that we didn't have: Attackers for Ether and Ice. I'm saving for Miyabi because I'm a slave to fox girls. I won't be swayed by CC propaganda.
Pull who you like and make it work. I'm building a Corin team because I love her and she's best girl and I'm using my 300th pull standard thing for Von Lycaon for her team if I don't get him from free pulls. Do whatever brings you happiness. I seriously don't vibe with Zhu Yuan. No problem. If I don't vibe with Miyabi's crew or Miyabi herself, truly...then I'll look to Caesar and the rest of the Sons of Calydon like Lighter and that other chick in the trailer.
I made the mistake of pulling for power in Genshin and it RUINED the game for me: Abyss is a literal chore of pulling out my OP units to mop the floor and brute force Abyss, so much so that I built a DPS Faruzan and DPS Heizou team for fun and other four star teams.
NO UNIT IN ZZZ IS BAD. NO UNIT IN ZZZ IS NEEDED. HYV games are made to be EASIER on purpose. Have self respect, know yourself, treat yourself. Don't let anyone sell you what YOU should want.
You want Qingyi? Pull within reason. You want Jane? Great. Pull responsibly. You don't want them? It's whatever.
TLDR: THERE ARE ALWAYS RERUNS, FOLKS. BE PATIENT. OR SAVE.

F2P Zhu Gyuatt main here but Im skipping Qingyi. Anby is already good enough. Sure, shes power crept, but Zhu + Nicole melt everything in the game as is. Better to save my pulls for Jane and Seth for the anomaly team with Grace.
Zhu Yuan completely wiped me out: primos, starglitter, everything.
So as much as I need another stunner right now, Qingyi is just not going to happen. Coping that I will get one of the standard stunners at some point.
Not particularly sold on Jane Doe, but will try and snipe a copy of Seth from a few 10-pulls on her banner, and if I hit her I hit her.
Rest of savings will be on lockdown in prep for foxian samurai Miyabi in the near future.
I got 1 5* for Ellen then stopped, once any 4* I have surpass baseline 5* it gets replaced
I have lycaon and zhu yuan so for me is a no brainer, pull for Qingyi and wait for Miyabi.
So Zhu yuan will have her stuner Qingyi that is also from the same faction and Nicole.
And Lycaon will be with Miyabi and a Soukaku
I don't need either, but i will pull for Jane for reasons i can not disclose.
So the thing is. I got Ellen on my 50/50. Got Zhu yuan. On a 50/50. Ellen was soft Pity. And Zhu yuan was low-key hard. I kinda want Jane and qingyi. I'll probably drop money. I also have solder 11 C1 and nekomata
I also have nekomatas weapon somehow. Idk how but I have that
I did not get lucky early pulls mono electric carried me. So a new stunning character would free Anby and give me 2 functioning team's
I'm skipping both most likely, but will try my luck on jane banner because I want to get Seth
A good stun character is so important in this game, replacing Anby with Qingyi should be a significant upgrade! Fingers-cross! and i agree with you, anby’s stun is very backloaded, often have to dodge before im able to use her ex skills 😰
I have the same issue with anby. Against aggressive enemies I can never finish her combo and she has no interrupt resistance either
Ugh this is rough. I want Qingyi but Corin and Billy are my least invested units. And I want Seth and Anby but not Jane Doe
Maybe I’ll wait for a limited fire DPS, or just pickup qingyi so when a fire DPS does come out I can steal Koleda from zhu yuan. I definitely agree that anby is usable but even compared to a standard 5 star like Koleda she’s no where near as good
I'm gonna be the rare one and skip Jane since I have a pretty stacked electric team that's already builted

Skipped Zhu Yuan for Ellen and skipping Jane for Qingyi. Waiting for Miyabi. I think solider 11 and Ellen as my main dps characters will hold me over for a while.
If you're minmaxing you probably should skip Qingyi for Jane Doe. Since Jane has Anby on her banner, you'll probably M6 Anby pretty easily. Even if Qingyi is better, M6 Anby should be relatively comparable.
That being said, they should have put Piper as the other A-rank for Qingyi instead of 2 Physical Attackers. That way people could do the reverse to skip Jane entirely to pull for Qingyi.
