I love you're message and I appreciate and take it to heart. I was 4 years old the first time I skinned a squirrel for dinner and it has been 5 years since I have had to apply for state help. My mother raised me to work towards not needing any state help and it makes my heart proud to not be on any. My husband was able to buy a branch of the franchise he has worked at for ten plus years and this is our third year running it. We have worked our butts off to get here and we are hoping to actually get insurance this year for our children (we have 3 girls all 2 years apart and we have been together for 14 years and married for 12 years) and every single time I see or hear of another person who has busted their butt to make their life better for their family it makes my heart proud. I have watched my husband go without sleep for weeks at a time to build the business name and he takes so much pride in his work it just makes me so happy to be married to him and to call myself an American. About 19 years ago. My wife I had 2 small children, she was a stay at home mother, I worked a 40+ work week making about 9.00/hr. We went down to apply for a Food Stamps (EBT) and were only approved for 12.00 a month. Because we didn't lie on our application. My wife had to take 2 small children to the meeting and wait over an hour for someone to tell her that. We made the decision right then that we didn't need any help. 20 years later, we still aren't rich, but we own our own home, our own car, and our kids have never went without. All because we decided to put God first, live under our means and budget our money. You can make it in this country without government assistance. You just got to work hard at it and don't give up.

As a kid in the 70's if I wanted something I had to work for it. If wanted to go to the movies with my friend I had to earn the money BEFORE I went. My friends and myself mowed, dug flower beds, cleaned pools,............. we did any job offered to us. On some of our mowing jobs we got paid by the job we did. All three of us have grown up and God has provided us with all we could ever want or need. God said he would help those that helped them selves.
Thats how I made my first fortune. Mowing yards and landscaping. Before I joined the Army I was making $5000 a month in the mid 80s doing this and going to school.

I have a small business and my children have worked in it since they were youngsters. My dad did the same with me as a kid . I worked five days a week in the summer . 6 am to 4pm I got paid $25 dollars a week . For a kid back in the 70’s . That was good money .

Mother raised 3 children one who was deaf and attended western pa school for the deaf . Every Friday after Mom was done with work yes she worked we would drive to Pittsburgh to pick him up and on Sunday evening we would take him back to school.This was before the interstate was done so the ride was longer and took us threw small town. As for my sister and I we got our selves up put our selves on the school bus and spent about 1 hr after school alone until she got home. Then at around age 10 Mom met a man who I consider my father they married and they both took brother to school never once did I hear her complain as for dad he worked his vacation to pay for brothers hearing aids no complaints from him. If a company makes a billion dollars and then builds an amusement part for 1 billion, then they've made on paper $0 so they don't get taxed shit. But if a citizen makes 50,000 dollars and spend 50,000 dollars, he is in a whole heap of trouble because he owes the govt a lot of money.

My mother raised me to work towards not needing any state help and it makes my heart proud to not be on any. My husband was able to buy a branch of the franchise he has worked at for ten plus years and this is our third year running it. We have worked our butts off to get here and we are hoping to actually get insurance this year for our children (we have 3 girls all 2 years apart and we have been together for 14 years and married for 12 years) and every single time I see or hear of another person who has busted their butt to make their life better for their family it makes my heart proud. I have watched my husband go without sleep for weeks at a time to build the business name and he takes so much pride in his work it just makes me so happy to be married to him and to call myself an American. About 19 years ago. My wife I had 2 small children, she was a stay at home mother, I worked a 40+ work week making about 9.00/hr. We went down to apply for a Food Stamps (EBT) and were only approved for 12.00 a month. Because we didn't lie on our application. My wife had to take 2 small children to the meeting and wait over an hour for someone to tell her that. We made the decision right then that we didn't need any help. 20 years later, we still aren't rich, but we own our own home, our own car, and our kids have never went without. All because we decided to put God first, live under our means and budget our money. You can make it in this country without government assistance. You just got to work hard at it and don't give up.

As a kid in the 70's if I wanted something I had to work for it. If wanted to go to the movies with my friend I had to earn the money BEFORE I went. My friends and myself mowed, dug flower beds, cleaned pools,............. we did any job offered to us. On some of our mowing jobs we got paid by the job we did. All three of us have grown up and God has provided us with all we could ever want or need. God said he would help those that helped them selves.

Mother raised 3 children one who was deaf and attended western pa school for the deaf . Every Friday after Mom was done with work yes she worked we would drive to Pittsburgh to pick him up and on Sunday evening we would take him back to school.This was before the interstate was done so the ride was longer and took us threw small town. As for my sister and I we got our selves up put our selves on the school bus and spent about 1 hr after school alone until she got home. Then at around age 10 Mom met a man who I consider my father they married and they both took brother to school never once did I hear her complain as for dad he worked his vacation to pay for brothers hearing aids no complaints from him. Help and love each other until it hurts then help and love a little more. Even at that we can't all be helped but we would cut government assistance and parenting by 80% if we did. Nope, the real problem is that we don't tax companies by gross income like citizens but tax them net income. If a company makes a billion dollars and then builds an amusement part for 1 billion, then they've made on paper $0 so they don't get taxed shit. But if a citizen makes 50,000 dollars and spend 50,000 dollars, he is in a whole heap of trouble because he owes the govt a lot of money.
Well isn't it good if the company gets more money to invest into the company? isn't the amusement park a good thing?
I was just educating my kid on this very subject yesterday. It started with him asking me why America s the fattest country. Well people don't have to work for their food anymore. Free food, no exercise. And had to explain welfare. We came to the conclusion America shouldn't have let dems have part in how the country is ran in the first place.

Dairy Queen Yes also another reason. My kid knows that though so didn't feel the need to bring it up. He's very conscious as to what he puts in his body. And he's only 11. Allot of the time he just wants a bowl of vegetables for dinner. We have to argue about this a couple times a week.
