- I wanted to try the new Penance Brand of Dissipation and Scion Seemed like an interesting class to try it on, so I set up some leveling gear and did a quick full run through the campaign. I thought that a lot of the pathing and gear choices would be very educational for all new and more experienced path of exile players who would like to level their secondary characters faster. In this guide I explain how you can level much faster by preparing the right items ahead of time and following an optimized route. People often ask "how to level a Scion", so this should be also helpful for anyone wanting to play this class for whatever reason. Played on patch 3.23 - Affliction League

Uuuuh, just thought about reskilling my templare (arc totem hierophant) to the Penance brand build for bossing. But making a twink sounds more fun, when its only a few hours leveling and not a few days, with this tips and gear, good idea :)

I didnt realize darkness enthroned had no lvl requirement, good stuff there. I like to use a honourhome helmet when leveling. Cheap +2 gem 4-link, bit of added dmg and reduced mana cost of skills. Wins all around imo.
Proper xmog increases skill in game by 87%, almost as much as Xmas tree like RGB.
Why are there no end game builds for this?!? Is so freaking fun

Love to know how this turns out as an endgame build.
The only issue i have with this Penance brand is the activation ratio/frequency. Sometimes it hits super fast, sometimes it doesn't. I still try to figure out how to make this activation rate be constant, especially on bosses. If anyone knows how this activation can be scaled or balanced correctly, please let me know❤
You can use new Storm Brand of Indecision, it's amazing for clearing and leveling. Penance Brand is more of an endgame setup for high tier maps and bossing.
Of course your character is going to be fast, it's flying
I wish you would have had the passive tree separated into blocks that way i could see where you went while leveling it.

BV is bad for heist unless you have giga aoe which would be very hard to do while also getting the required speed, tankiness and damage. The CoC Ice Spear of Splitting Deadeye which I released recently is my current Heist build and it works very well: czcams.com/video/T2fvt85205M/video.html

Hey asmo, could go over all the gems that you used in this guide? Maybe you could put them in a doc and explain when to switch to which gem/item?
Any chance you could try to finish the build in path of building at least? Followed the build without noticing it was not a finished build as my first char in poe. Works great!
It's literally not possible for it to be your first character in poe, because you have to get to act 3 to unlock scion. This is just a leveling template for scion IF you want to play any scion build. It's simply a leveling strategy and playthrough to show people that scion is not so slow and impossible to level as many people claim.

I will choose to level up with RF. After Lv20, you can easily and quickly complete A10 with 2 Kikazaru rings and Springleaf shield plus fire resistance skills.😂
Storm Brand of Indecision is SO much better through the campaign. I tried playing the new Trans Penance Brand but it just couldn't get the damage you seem to get. I don't know why people level with it.

@@alexandersavchenko54 Dude, I was pushing teir 16 maps at level 75 with Storm Brand. But I had all the uniques. That's KEY. Just don't go in guns blazing like I did. lol GOOD LUCK!
Nobody has all this stuff. I think it's good to show leveling like this live. But users need summary guide on leveling Scion from scratch with nothing. Which means nothing from any other character or trade. And good build for it. Especially on Standard Ruthless.

Funny how GGG nerfed arc and other "unintended" interactions to dunlster tier. Yet left the most op and afk skill alone. Attach to bosses and run around until they die. Through gems and tree I'm at about 20sec up time but it melts everything on a 2div budget in 3 seconds. Most busted skill I've played.
ah sad i thought that was a competitive run with a gg time :D
