He used to live in Summerseat when he was at Burnley and as a courier I delivered to him on several occasions and he always struck me as being a really nice lad.

Agreed. It's almost like we have to forget what players were like under Bruce and give a clean slate for everyone- Howe has transformed players THAT much and Krafth was superb for a while whilst Trippier was injured as you say.
Remember we went to Holland pre season in 2002 to watch the toon, met Bobby all the players it was fantastic. Some Dutch bloke who was standing next to us even offered Shay Given a spliff! His reply ‘ no thanks, I don’t think the gaffa would be too happy’ 😆

Awesome mate! I used to love going to British Superbikes pre season practice at Donnington you got to see way more than at a race and a good chance like you did with players with BSB riders and teams.
