      Totally agree, if you wanna watch the highest standard Rugby in the the world its the Aussie NRL, the pace, power, fitness, finesse, skill, is light years ahead of anything RU can manage. The State of Origin is the highest quality Rugby game in the world , and by a long margin

      hahaha. too funny. delusional. league will always totally muller union in 7s. Always. Basic skills (fitness, running, passing, stepping, tackling etc.) far higher in League than Union (as Jonathon Davies said openly on the BBC once). Will ever be that way. If it was an NRL team playing ANY top union 7 sides, to this day, in 2023. the NRL team would obliterate them. Strange how you cant see this ? Too interested in rucks, mauls alineouts and scrums i guess ? Fair enough. But get real.@@mckay1402

    Bradford got beat the night before in a table topper with Saints and got beat something like 50-20. Then they traveled all the way down to Twickenham but their coach broke down and apparently they had little to no sleep going into the tournament, yet they still won it at a canter even though they had no experience in it. How is this possible?!

  • @ItsLeo44
    @ItsLeo44 Před 11 lety +17

    League beat union at 7s because they are use to the offload and fast paced nature of the game due to the 6 phase rule. I'm sure if league played a 15 sided game then union would come into it's prime. I take no biased side in League vs Union because I played both, BUT, you need to be fitter to play league which could be another reason why bulls beat the wasps.

    When it comes to the commentators, Eddie Butler is soon enjoying the spectacle, while Jeremy Guscott is dying inside and covering it up with a small man's sneering condescension and ignorance. Guscott was offered a contract in Rugby League more than once, but never had the guts to test himself against the elite.
    Of the Wasps players in the final, Abbott stood out as someone with plenty of guts and a little imagination. He looked like he'd have been pretty useful in the professional game.
