I'm an adopted kid and
I didn't feel disrespected at all. I love dogs and mine was like a sibling to me growing up as an only child. I would agree with you in instances where a child may be stressed about being an "adopted child", then, yes, don't throw that word around lightly out of respect for the child.
Dear parents, you are awesome that you did not tell her to stop crying. You let her feel her feelings from her kind and compassionate heart. That was a gift to your daughter. P.S. Adopting the puppy was the second gift. Wonderful family. Wow.

A girl and her dog is a wonderful thing. My first dog was when I was 12 and I hid her from my mom cause I wasn’t allowed a dog. She won my mom over with her wonderful personality and she wasn’t just my dog but my best friend. I was a very troubled person and she saved me. We ran away so many times (at least an hour at a time). She always stayed by my side and listened to all my problems. Good luck sweetie may your puppy share your life for as long as my pup did mine. 😉😀

Don't wanna upset anybody today but I actually had a bottle of pills in my hand this morning to do the obvious! All alone for Christmas, just so depressed when I sat on my phone & this video started playing. I could hear it so I thought I'd have a look. Talk about devine intervention! Was it meant to be I don't know. What I do know is it made me stop & think & I feel much better now. I called a friend who is here with me now & is staying with me until I see my doctor tomorrow. Was it meant to be? Probably! Thank you for uploading you probably saved my life 😍😍😍😍😍😍😇
The only way for things to never get better is if you were to end it now, there is always hope for happiness, I have no doubts that you will have many better Christmases, this is just the beginning. This video may have been a big influence but you are the one that had the strength to make the decision to then keep fighting. You are so very strong and deserving of all things good ❤

What a great surprise! How did they keep the dog quiet in the house.This has brought tears to my eyes this Christmas afternoon seeing this at 12pm. This is my first Christmas ever in my life I am all by myself but I know many are also. I am so happy for this child this has brought happy tears to my eyes.
They were already fostering the puppy, so there was no surprise about getting a puppy. The surprise was that she gets to KEEP the puppy they’ve already been fostering.
I figured that out Mam when I watched it a 2nd time and listened to what everyone was saying. I actually watched it 6X probably because the little girl was such a joy to see and it was a feel good video for me during a lonely time in my life. Happy New Year!
