If the grease on the piston dries up or burns out, the striker will quickly wear out the piston.
This can happen if the drill is used for an extended period of time repeatedly.
you can top up the grease to help the drill.
But once they loose the hammer action compleatly like this one, the oring playing and grease will need replaced.
