One thing I've noticed about Mr. Cook, is that he doesn't let money sit in his pocket very long! He's keeping his employees happy! Stay safe out there!
What a Beaut! Aside from what would appear to be a half empty drum... (at these rock-bottom blowout prices, you can't expect them to put too much cable on there) and what is the lug on the end of the cable? Is that part of some digital-bluetooth hook system controlled by an app on your phone? Blessings John & Mike!
Somebody is making $$$! I got one new rig, an RD Mack with a 427 and a Mack 10 speed and I hated that thing from the first time I started it. If it'd had a Fuller in it itd've been better but it was a blasted Mack and it was gear bound. 6-speed main and if it's uphill the gear you started with was what you topped out with. Would NOT pick a load back up either. SORRY truck. I'd rather had a quad box (5x4) and a blasted Thermodyne. And I bet you'd rather look inside those doors at a simple engine instead of being simply complicated. So go home to Goomer hugs and dream about wearing that shiny new rig out! Prayers and BLESSINGS to go with the hugs, by the way!
she is very pretty and shiny also, when we get a new machine I take pics before she goes out but I like the video the best before the paint is messed up;;;;;;;;;;
That Chipper Guy ok that's fine was just curious saw you had some deere and I have Benn watching to see what I want if my business ever grows to that point so I like to watch people like you and get advice from experienced people
Nice skidder....the DEF...is a nightmare...when the components fail....you better have money in the bank...check your warranty on the stupid DEF....I don’t understand why CAT...would not put a swedge cable on the winch...much stronger
It new as in no scratches like the rest of the fleet. I cant believe you got stuck w the def. A huge pain in dah balls. Waste of money for how ur using the thing. Actually i cant say for sure it even worth the trouble to bottle the def fluid. Nice machine though.

The DEF engines are less problematic than the older SCR exhaust motors.

Blessings John & Mike!
Nice.
Was wondering if you considered the joystick steer?
Pretty nice machine is it replacing a machine or a gain of another skidder
The cable is all nice and neat on that drum and not crossed up. That is what's wrong with it. Lol How long will it stay like that
10.5 hours? wow that's gettin up there almost time to trade her in lol
We have been running 30.5 in the south for years.

Need a 555d cat skidder

I've noticed that a lot of people call their machines she or her. Maybe it's a carryover from when ships were considered she or her is my guess.
They are girls because we expect them to drive us nuts and brake our hearts. Lol
Whats blueteeth? Aint that when you eat a smurf you get that?
How do yall still like it brother? You hear mixed feelings about cat a lot
Another one geez.

Can you back blade with that one?
All day long!!
Sweet don't like the DEF but what can you do its a new world
Who’s the lucky guy
That Cable is missing the Toe Hook for your application.
VideosByAl Yes Sir
Backwards boys....it’s backwards lol
The button is supposed to be the first thing to start on the spool not the last sticking out
I totally missed that one but I didn't see the hook either
That is nice of Cat to let you respool the cable. Maybe you need some practice...not .
Did you trade in the 545C?
No
+That Chipper Guy Good deal, I love the C models.
Just curious why you are changing over to cat?
We have bought cat for years
That Chipper Guy ok that's fine was just curious saw you had some deere and I have Benn watching to see what I want if my business ever grows to that point so I like to watch people like you and get advice from experienced people
Have you tried a Tigercat?
We won’t by Deere. Tigercat is nice to.
Thanks for your opinion
Quanto que vale uma máquina dessa daí nova
looks like there is room for a bigger and longer cable on there why the small one
What size is on there?
3/4 cable not sure how long though but it does not look like its the 195ft max capacity that it can hold
It's only for pulling trucks about 20 feet from you.
@@kenstaniforth7060that makes sense. I am just an arm chair fan of skidders, but I thought they came in grapple or winch, but not both.
No DEF ?
Steve Yoder no it has def that was what the tank with the blue lid was a def tank
Nice skidder....the DEF...is a nightmare...when the components fail....you better have money in the bank...check your warranty on the stupid DEF....I don’t understand why CAT...would not put a swedge cable on the winch...much stronger
The main line is on backwards

Who gets the new toy? I bet whoever is the lucky is besides themself.
Not that Chipper Guy, he gets the one that has problems so he can can keep it running Lol
You are right my friend. He's the boss so every problem falls to him. John is a good man who knows his stuff!
