No matter the past, no matter the feeling of the Cubans, Having to have seen first hand how the Cuban members work; wow; they are amazing at their work and has great knowledge when having to work with the minimum at hand. The SANDF is amazing, no matter what you might believe; we are amazing with what is given (funds); and that is what makes the SANDF good. Every day was an honor to have worked for both SADF and SANDF. Still believe in the present and future of SANDF.

Having the Cubans here is testimony to what has become of this country as a whole. Eskom, from been a net exporter of electricity to the broken mess that it is today, from a country that had engineering expertise that build it's own ships, produced and designed some of the best attack helicopters in the world. World leaders in mining technology. But then again look what is ruling this country. it has taken 20 odd years but we have now truly become a one with the rest of Africa.

Dream on Aviwe Yantolo, the Angolan war was totally dominated by the South African Defense Force. The only time when the S.A.D.F, had to take cover, was when the Russian Mig aircraft were superior to the Mirages that we had, but even then we achieved victories at times against the Migs. The Cubans were suffering heavily during the war in Namibia and suffered many losses. The main fact, however, was that the SADF was much more proficient than the SANDF ever were. You just have to look at the National Armed Forces Day of 2019 to observe the total incompetence by comparison to foreign forces. The SADF was ranked third in the entire world after evaluations were monitored just shortly before the first democratic election of 1994, by foreign judges.

I recently wanted to see what it consisted of, so i signed up, and i am glad i canceled, i signed up at the beginning of Jan 2019, so the first thing i did was phone get some details, they pick you up at a mall or taxi rank or somewhere major in your area. Then aparently you go to base and they do all the tests and what not there, if you fail you get send home, i had to pay R600 of which i did not get back at all for my seat on said bus. They asked if i had tattoos i said yes, but it is small and hidden. So they came up with the idea getting me past the assment via the right documentation to make the assesor aware i have a tat. So the recruiter wanted me to pay him for the effort of putting together these documents to get me through as the SANDF has rules, like any military, but or course such things do not apply in ZA. Basically the guy wanted me to bribe him to get me in. Who is to say they dont ask for bribes of others? Except bribes to let anyone in? Hell Bribes to let people in with diseases like AIDs? Being a white person i knew i might be extorted later on, because of course the assumtion is that white people are rich. So no right there my alarms went off and im glad i dropped it.
It pains me greatly, i was born to be a soldier, i feel it in my bones, i already have skills in many fields gained over the years, i can run circles around any SANDF soldier. Yet here i am, no means of doing what im good at or have always wanted to be. Its not even that big of a deal joining a military. I can only continue on my journey in search of a way that i can get into some form of military organization. Society is far to dull and not at all where fit in or want to fit in.

This is black man land from Cape to north....not for Boer farmers settlers, the black fully majority or the indigenous people cute or not cute let them precide over the affairs of their land.....why not advise the boer settlers to just go back to Europe or Holland, the land of their ancestors than struggling with the natives....now the evil apartheid is completely erased

@@clementoweh3463ook at South Africa, until 1994 it was the biggest economy of Africa and had the strongest Army on the continent.
Also until 1994 there were no electricity shortages, no water scarcities and also crime was low (Kaapstad/Captown was so safe that you could even be outside during night time).
Today, after 28 years of Black ANC rule, the country is in an economic depression, crime has gotten out of hand, electricity is only available at 10 hours per day and the Army is a pice of shit, which couldn’t even conquer Namibia!
Now South Africa is African, its a failure like all the other African nations, like Zimbabwe, Moçambique, Angola, the Congo, the Central African Republic, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Libya and Mali, as well as the rest!
