I don’t think the person saying they should’ve bought Kantanka n go is making sense cuz, those cars have a bigger market and Kantanka is now coming up, so things like this could a marketing ladder for them to go a few steps up..
Like I keep saying Ghanaians don’t easily trust so if they prove the cars are strong and durable by this long journey also fuel consumption is low, Ghanaians alone will buy more and other countries.. they should organize some them selves to other African countries and others willing to join can join.. maybe to East Africa or Southern Africa..

@@Mcdorni1 They wanted to set this record on their own and I don't think they wanted any other persons to join. to make things simple they went with vehicles that they think will be good enough and this was their own cars and they funded this with their own money. people are only showing interest because the journey was successful.

Whether good or bad results, we should be able to say that a particular idea is good idea or bad idea.
For me even if they had lost their lives I think what they did was brave and encouraging more especially the plan to use the traction to raise funds to help the poor. If they didn't have that plan to di something positive out of that trip to help humanity but just wanted to take that risk without any purpose then I could have fully agreed with counsellor that it was a useless trip. Since the trip had a good purpose, I cannot conclude that the trip was useless even if they had unfortunately lost their lives.
I understand what you're saying but I rather agree with your concluding remarks and opinion.
In relation to risking their lives, they planned and avoided the dangerous routes.

However what I am saying is that even if that remote risk manifested leading to them losing their lives, I will still not have condemned them for embarking on a "useless" trip as counsellor is doing because their trip had a very good purpose that is commendable.
This is what black Africans lack. We just condemn people without considering their good intensions. Consequently people are not confident to take the necessary risk needed to help us discover or do something which helps our society for fear of being insulted if something goes wrong.
We lump everything together without separating good risk from bad risk. The moment something goes wrong in our attempt to take risk to do even something good then the insults begin to fly in from left, right and centre instead of praising and rewarding the risk taker for his/her good intentions even if things go bad.
It would still have been fulfilling to take that risk just for the adventure and nothing more

this so called counselor guy is soooo annoying and ignorant, when u listen to the guys that went on the expedition they said they did extensive research and survey, they even contacted UN and other organizations, security agencies etc to advise them the routes to take. so they didnot get get up and decided to move.
