Hi guys, welcome back to my CZcams channel. Hope you are doing well!
The festive season is in full swing and in today’s video, I will be showing you how to achieve the
perfect base for all the special occasions. Festivals call for a good, long-lasting base as it can make or break your entire look. A flawless base makeup look is undoubtedly the backbone for all your festive looks - from a wedding to a party look, or from a bold and chic to a ‘no makeup’ makeup look. Fortunately, you can now get the look of your dreams by using the Maybelline Fit Me range. Here’s a simple base makeup routine for you -
Step 1: Start with the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Primer to ensure that you have a smooth base for
your festive makeup. A primer helps to create a smooth and even base for the rest of your look and is a must-have in one’s makeup bag. Using the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless
Primer creates a barrier between your skin and makeup, ensuring that your foundation lasts longer and looks smoother. It also helps to minimise the appearance of pores and gives a flawless matte finish while ensuring your base stays up to 16 hours. The Maybelline Primer is also available in a dewy + smooth variant for all the dry skin type girls. This product keeps the skin hydrated and gives a dewy skin finish with ease.
Step 2: Apply the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation from the centre of your face, move onto your
cheekbones and continue blending outwards. Use the tiniest amount of product and then keep
adding more if needed. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in 18 shades to fit all Indian skin tones, so finding your right match this festive season won’t be a hassle. The natural, matte foundation is non-comedogenic, gives 16-hour oil control and is formulated with SPF 22 to keep your skin always protected from the sun without worrying about your base moving or gliding through the festivities. I recommend mixing the foundation with setting spray and applying it to make your base waterproof and transfer-proof. Pro Tip: You can also mix the Fit Me Primer with the Fit Me Foundation to fill pores and make the base long-lasting and less cakey.
Step 3: Moving on, excel your base makeup by adding on the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.
The Maybelline concealer conceals any redness, blemishes or pigmentation and also helps to cover dark spots or acne marks. Opting for concealers that are the same shade or a shade lighter works best and can be used for natural to medium coverage. A hack that I swear by lately is spraying some setting spray on the brush and using it to blend your concealer in. This will ensure a creaseless appearance and make the Fit Me concealer stay for a longer time. Let me give y’all another hack, take a shade darker of the concealer and use it to contour or bronze your face. I prefer doing this instead of using a bronzer or a contour stick as the concealer blends into the skin giving a natural finish and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin.
Step 4: Now it’s time to set your base with the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder to mattify the
skin and reduce the appearance of pores. Apply it to areas of the face that tend to bring out the
shine. Use it the same way on the hollows of your cheeks, on the top of your eyebrows and just a dab of it on your nose and chin.
Step 5: Add some colour to the cheeks by applying the Maybelline Fit Me Blush on your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose.
Step 6: Ensure that your makeup stays put through the party, pooja, or celebration by locking it with the Maybelline Setting Spray, which has a 24-hour oil control formula to give an instant shine-free matte look that is transfer-proof and does not clog your pores.
Complete your lip makeup and eye makeup by using your favourite products from Maybelline and you are all set to slay. The #FitMeFestive range is my favourite and I highly recommend you try these products right away.
