On Uber you can choose to only do takeout orders and turn off shop and deliver or do both. Its in the preference tab
With the background check I did the doordash one first and got a downloadable certificate. I then applied to uber eats and they accepted that certificate as it was done in the previous two weeks. Saved $45

Doordash you can use any vehicle from any year but i think UberEats have certain criteria around that
I do believe you forgot Uber payouts 5 times daily opposed to just once daily and I think they should have had a full star for that one =D Just Saiyan! Great vid

I choose Uber over DD for two reasons. First, Uber have higher pay when it comes to groceries, and huge amount of money from quest. Other than that, Doordash is better at base pay. So, I use doordash more in the morning till afternoon, and uber in the evening.

I like the app better and i just find it overall easier to use.
The quests are good when you get them
Why won't people realize tips are not tips in delivery especially in America its a way to get priority delivery and statistically a more reliable shopper/driver
Great tip on signing up Doordash before Uber Eats to save yourself $34.25 on the NCC background check. I did it that way when I started last year, but tonight I had to do a new one for Uber Eats as my signup anniversary is approaching and since Doordash doesn't need it yearly I had to pay for it. That's money I'd rather have spent on a half carton of my favourite dark ale...

Three weeks and counting waiting for my security check to come through to enable me as a DoorDash driver... and I'm nowhere near interesting! Absolutely frustrating! UberEats nearly as bad considering I was a top UberX driver for 7 years and only wanted to 'downgrade' to UberEats driving for personal reasons. That was an endless loop re documentation (which they already had!), too! Wasn't until I finally came upon a staff member in the documentation department who was actually awake to read the details of the automated message they sent to me when I copied it back to them that they activated me to drive! That also took two weeks of my life that I'll never get back!
I know we're 'only deliver drivers' but HECK, we are still breathing humans who are trying to play a part in their 'bigger picture', helping to KEEP THEM EMPLOYED, too!

Just comparing the 2 companies, I dont drive on Menulog so I wouldnt be much of an authority to talk about them
I have done both at this point now and can safely say Uber Eats is better in pretty much every aspect, don’t know why you’d continue to DoorDash 😂
