I had a second endometrial of 11.2 mm I also bled for two months, but then it quit , I did go in for a biopsy and then also a DNC and they removed a whole bunch of polyps, luckily for me, it did come back benign but the doctor did tell me if they come back again. I might not be that lucky I just need to keep up and keep checking on it but I haven’t did it the last two years. , I do plan to make an appointment for check up. Praying for all the ladies that are going through the same thing I know it’s scary. I had this done when I was 58 years old that’s July I will turn 60 ❤🙏🏽
I have exactly the same symptoms as yours, but I am only 30 years old. It started when I was 28. 😢
Thank you very much for taking time and trouble to explain about endometrial cancer .I was diagnosed with it this year.Nothing had prepared me for when my consultant mention cancer.i felt like I was hi by a ton of bricks from no where. The consultant suggested a total hysterectomy.
I am so happy to say I had my procedure done 2 weeks ago. Everything went smoothly and I am recovering smoothly.
Cancer has changed me considerably. I no longer complain about little stupid things. I would you guys to know your body and get regular check ups.
There is hope at the end if the tunnel.
Thank you for your time and also a big thank you to our Almighty Lord for protecting us. Life is beautiful and let's make the most of our time.❤😂🎉
I have a D&C scheduled for in the morning. The lining of my Uterus is 11m. Thank God that everything is going great with you. May God bless you
I am 41 my endometrial thickness in transvaginal scan was 24mm had heavy periods affecting my Hemoglobin levels am superscared waiting for biopsy results..fingers crossed
My uterine pre cancerous cells returned to normal after going on an omad diet and cutting out all processed food. I get tested every 6 months with a biopsy to survey.
It’s been over a year and all is still well but there is always the worry. I don’t want to do a hysterectomy so I’ll keep this up and soon hope to be biopsied only once a year.
I watched Chris beat cancer and followed much of his advice.
Praying for you!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it was clear, concise, non jargon words used and useful. I a 50 years old post menopausal woman and had spotting. My doctor immediately arranged a Paps smear, an ultrasound scan pelvis and transvaginal scan where it was found I have 4 fibroids, ovarian cyst and a 6mm endometrium. After being referred to a gynaecologist, she asked questions and did a pelvic exam and I had to do a blood test for cancer screening. I am scheduled hysteroscopy, D&C with endometrial biopsy, Transvaginal scan (again) and a IUD implant at the hospital in 3 weeks. Wish me luck 😀!
How did it go? Hope all is well
All the best. Everything will go well. Wish you speedy recovery and the bestest health.
Thank you for your kind words. I am in the clear - no ovarian cancer, the Paps smear for cervical cancer is negative and endometrium biopsy came back as negative as well. The Merina IUD implant worked and my endometrium is now back into normal range, under 5mm. The 4 fibroids are less than 4 cm and causes me no issues at all. The ovarian cyst is not cancerous and is not causing me any issues or pain either.
@@elizagaskell7957 glad to see everything is good, hopefully it’s all up from here on out and you have no issues! Well wishes, good luck sending love and hugs

Thank u so much Dr
Thank you for the video. Really helpful. I'm in my late 30's and I have been experiencing continuous bleeding for five months. An internal Ultrasound determined I have a thickness of 19.1mm, but no visible cysts or polyps. I have had some extremely heavy bleeding over the past 5 months so to hear that the lining was still this thick was quite alarming. I had a biopsy taken today, and now I have to wait. I really hope it isn't anything too worrisome. I start radiotherapy next month for a reoccurrence of a brain tumour and I can only deal with one medical issue at a time.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. ❤
Hi. I hope you're doing fine. We have the same case. How's your biopsy result? I'm also waiting for my result and the waiting time is killing me. They told me it will take 3-4 weeks and I can't stop thinking about cancer. 😔
@@marygracedavid1895 hey. I hope your wait isn't too much longer. My results showed a hormone imbalance so I had a coil inserted. That gave me some brief respite but the coil can often cause irregular bleeding and I have found that after the first month of a pretty regular cycle it's gone back to near constant. Because it's a regular side effect of the coil I've been told I have to wait 3-4months before going back to my doctor. So not great, but obviously very happy that the biopsy said it wasn't cancer.
I wasn't able to get any explanation what caused the imbalance in my hormones, although I was told my age (late 30's) and BMI (high) could be a factor.
Did you get the biopsy results? I'm currently going through this too and have my hysteroscopy today 😢
@@amy1508er I hope your procedure went well. My biopsy results came back as a hormone imbalance. Which was a huge relief but didn't answer why I had been having the symptoms. Had a Mirena coil inserted which gave me one regular cycle before it went back to near constant bleeding.
Hope your test comes back with a simple and non scary explanation.
BEST VIDEO to explain endometriosis. I'm only 39yrs old and have had heavy periods for the last 3 months and finally went to the obgyn. Come to find out that this is occurring and will have a DNC procedure. I was confused to what is actually happening but now, I feel much better and not worried. Thanks, Doc for the info and sound peace in your voice.
Have you tried herbal medications it worked for me
Mine started after the Covid vaccine! Did you get a vaccine?
I've been bleeding since October 15th!
How did your DNC go?
How long did you have to wait to have your D and C procedure? I will be waiting a total of 7 weeks and am terrified
Have you done your d n c procedure? Can you tell me What is the report come, because me too facing same issue.
Dear Dr. I really appreciate your wisdom on this subject. I am 65yrs and was recently diagnóse with endometrial hyperplesia the thickness is 1.28cm with cystic space, no cancer, should I be thinking about total hystorectomy??
I feel male gynaecologist are doing a better homework before making a video. Hope we will be able to see more informative videos.
Doctor did this to me just yesterday, waiting for the result on Wednesday.🙏
Informative
Hi doctor I have thick uterus lining but I took birth control and it made me have decidual cast. Making my uterus lining fall out all at once. It felt like I was dying. I think the birth control caused this. Now I stopped because I don't want to feel pain like that again.
Dr. Roa, thank you for the very clear and concise information. I’m 58 & postmenopausal. I’ve had 4 fibroids for over 10 years & have yearly pelvic ultrasounds done. 8 years ago I had a polyp in the uterus that was removed and was found to be benign. At my last pelvic ultrasound the doctor found that the lining went from 4mm to 6mm . I’m scheduled to have a hysteroscopy in May. Your thoughts?
Did you doctor asked for any progesterone therapy ????
I’m 12.5 and the doctor talked about D&C bc I have bleeding.
Thank u 🙏
Thanks. I was 51 and perimenopausal and I had an ultrasound and I had the hyperplasia. I lost a lot of blood
I’m 44 and this week I’m experiencing this blood clots I’m doing a Dr appointment for next week I hope I’m ok. 😢
I’m in America. I just had an ultrasound done today. I’m 65, and they said my uterus was “thickened” at 5.2, so they weren’t “too concerned”. But they did a biopsy anyway just to be sure. I should get the results in 5 days. All this can be confusing and scary, but you explained it perfectly and logically. Thank you.
Hey what was the result of the biopsy? Please tell
Result?
Results?
Hope all went well
results r fine? am also in US they did biopsy for 24mm thickness
Thank you very helpful video
Hi doc ..what is good for c section between thick and thin uterus
I has a trans vaginal scan done two months ago where I was told I had a cyst on my left ovary and a Endometrium lining of 11mm ,I was sent a month later for a hystereoscopy, a complete D and C and a biopsy was taken ,I'm 48 and post menopausal,I'm awaiting my results of that biopsy .
Please let me know what it came up ??
Sending our best wishes
Nice video
Hi Dr what is endo homogeneous?
Thank you so much. That was very reassuring. I am waiting on tests and not panicking
I am slightly. I just had an ultrasound and my endometrium was 20mm.
@@niffniffhooray I understand. Mine was 16. Panicking on the inside.
Waiting on a date for biopsy which I am definitely going to get knocked out for
I felt better after the US so am undecided
@@annoftheoldbogroad1534 I had a biopsy the same day and it wasn't bad. They found a polyp and a cyst on each ovary. One cyst looked non-concerning but the other warranted another ultrasound in six weeks.
I'm in my 30s so it's highly unlikely to be anything malignant, but the waiting for results is torture.
@@niffniffhooray Oh well a slight reassurance. I am eight years in menopause
I have read some people say they would rather have 10 more children than do a biopsy again
Plus I do have a fibroid although most literature says it is unlikely to be that
When do you think you will hear
@@annoftheoldbogroad1534 I was told it takes about a week to get results.
Hopefully it isn't too bad for you. Unfortunately it's the only to diagnose really anything.

what is the difference between Prometrium and endometrium 100mg each? I really need clarity please

Thankyou for your video. I am 62 years of age, no children postmenopausal and suffer with hypothyroidism.. I take a drug called carbimazole that can cause bleeding. I recently started spotting and my doctor sent me for a vaginal ultrasound. The scan shows no masses seen and endometrial lining 18mm. I have stopped taking my thyroid medication and no more spotting. Please can you give advice?
Dr I was diagnosed with disorder proliferative endometrium what it is?
I had terrible pain with 2-3 week periods heavy bleeding and blood clots. I had one D&C and one normal period but it came back with heavy bleeding and clots. Because my mother died from sarcoma starting on her uterus I insisted they remove mine. I had a thickened uterine wall and after the partial hysterectomy my diagnoses was endometriosis of the uterine wall muscle. It was the size of a four month along uterus. I was 51. I had to switch doctors to get one to do the elective hysterectomy, even though I was quite anemic.
Thanku dr iam also going to thatt stage my adge is 75years now o waiting for my biopsy result.what is further ?
This was a good video. It explained more and but it is scary. I'm 58 and mine is 7.4mm No bleeding since Sept 2020. My doctor is checking for cancer. She couldn't do the biopsy because my cervix wouldn't open. Back to round 2 next month. I am terrified!
How are you doing? Hope everything turned out okay for you.
