- Our German Shepherds had their first litter on New Year's Eve!
Sasha delivered nine healthy pups, 6 females and 3 males, all absolute cuties.
I miss them so much lately I had to compile all my footage of them and share with you all.
I apologize for my very basic editing skills, hope you enjoy my first CZcams video ever!

Watching the transition from little nuggets to tatertots to full blown little potatoes is heart melting. I got my gsd at 2 months and she was the cutest puff ball ever.

I brought my GSD home at 8 weeks…she was 1 of 13… I picked her out because she was playing with the water bowel with her brother. And ignoring the other puppies begging for attention…she had spunk… she is a long haired German shepherd… show breed… 8 years old now and I walk her twice a day for 30 mins to get rid of her high energy. Comes to work with me… goes everywhere with me… thank you for reminding me of her little cries as a puppy…
We've got a german shephard nearly 2 now I can't imagine my life without her shes like a human she follows me everywhere she so loyal and just gorgeous they are the best dogs

If I had 9 puppies like this it would have to be my livelihood. No way I could leave the house and spend 9-12 hours at work knowing these precious fur babies were home without me. 12:20 is the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen. So pure and natural.
Now I'm crying they are so teeny tiny and just want mommy. And those whines oh my heart. They would all stay with me!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
I didn't like seeing her in pain, but it's a natural process. I absolutely love the video. 8 healthy, chunky pups. They're wonderful!! I hope they all went on to lovely caring homes and have the best lives ever!

Yeah I had to jump forward. And watching her with a bowl food of food while nursing was great but I had to think on the moms in nature and reality of the streets too. I can never just enjoy a simple thing! It gets all complicated and how these puppies manage to get in the right homes when I see so many failed German Shepherds being placed to more experienced homes….hopefully ugh

I was impressed. I am a good dog owner too for my part but I wasn't the best trainer, getting a puppy that young to do anything other than come is impressive.

Gorgeous puppies. This brought back so many good memories my lovely GSD had 8 bundles of loveliness rehoming them nearly broke my heart except for one little boy, he seemed to be Mums favourite so I kept him.
Our gs pups just turned 10 wks old❤ it's alot of work to care for so many puppies,but they are soo worth it.

Man I could never have my GSD give birth. And to all those puppies! I would be mortified watching her panting then giving birth. I’m a whimp! She’s safe and spayed. Even though they are the cutest puppies in the world!
Ikr. I have the same concerns but not breeding them is very likely to do hormonal imbalances which on long run becomes threat to Breasts & Genital Tumours & Cancers.

@@dharam149 indeed. I never had breed my older German shepherd and she came out with uterus tumor. Thank God she got well from surgery. But didn’t know the consequences of not breeding.

My Gs had 10 pups first litter, 6 the second time and final time she had 7. Our Cheyenne was fixed on June 4th and so happy and so is she.❤ puppies are hard work and patience, but soo worth it.
What a lovely thing to see in this trouble world…..Thank you…..I once had an Alsatian pup from six hours old .my mother and I fed her with a babies bottle for months , she lived to be 14 ……She was a beautiful dog….

Reminds me of the days before I was able to get my Jessie fixed. Nothing like come home to a room full of puppies after a day of work. Of course, I had to spend about an hour cleaning and sanitizing their room, but after that... PUPPY TIME!

So glad you kept them at least 9 weeks. Mom did a good job teaching pups to come down stairs. They will be better dogs for having stayed with mom and litter mates. Good job.

I love you teaching them to find you and follow you wherever! I've had many wonderful G.S. dongs and the early training you are doing make it all go so much better for them as well as for me. As the Mom person those 1st training weeks are all mine. When they are all cute and potty trained..then the rest of the family "chips in"...lol

In my litter the Runt was the Boss literally 😂 he controls everything till date even all of them are 3 year's old ❤ He's the Boss
I got my german Shepherd at 4 weeks i was so afraid she would get sick. Fed her formula and mixed it with the dry food. She got so big and healthy
4 weeks is too early to take a pup from his/her mother and siblings. Look up “ 5 week old puppy syndrome. Pups ought be at least 8 weeks old before they are taken from their mom.

@@ariellopez54, I use a grain-free kibble that lists the meat as the top ingredient because I don’t want a lot of fillers. (Zignature brand) Canidae brand is fine. I recommend going to a good pet store (not a chain like Petmart) and talking to them.
(If you were rich you might feed your dog raw meat but I never have.)
Whatever you do, DON’T let your German Shepherd puppy jump because he could end up with hip problems later in his life. German Shepherd Man on CZcams has some good videos.
