I'm going to see the Million Dollar Quartet on Dec 22 22 in New Haven CT at the Schubert. My daddy got us tickets! We saw Jake/Elvis a few years back at the same venue.
I got the chills. I am a great connoisseur and admirer of the King of Rock and Roll and have managed to track down almost all the fake Elvis imitators but listening to this mix of Christmas songs I can hardly tell if the voice is a fake. Jake Rowley is the only one who with deep admiration and emotion reminds me of the immense King.
Agreed. Some tribute artists can come very close on a song or two, but across the range they can't keep up. Rowley is by far the most versatile and closest that I've heard. If you haven't heard his rendition of _Love Me Tender_ (studio version, not live) prepare to get blown away. It's unbelievably close to Elvis.

I am not for Elvis impersonators, I have to concede Jake is fantastic, I listen on headphones so I can hear the nuances of Jake's voice compared to Elvis and can not tell the difference. I'm going to follows this guy!!!!

He is spot on bloody eerie amazing elvis never did a concert in england while he was alive jake if ever you do get your promotions people or whoever's your manager is and do a concert over here I'd definately go and iam sure a whole lot more would to. It's like when iam listening to you it's the real elvis. I know usually when people imitate the king it's usually when he gets older but you nail the early elvis to a tee. Someone once said the Angel's kissed elvis throat to make him sing well they must have kissed yours too jake.
