Do you eat nuts or yoghurt at all? Do you have coffee? I’m 61, been ketovore for 2.5 years. Have had incredible results body composition wise ie more muscle less fat. But I have had upper hamstring tendonopathy now in my L leg for 10 months and it is still chronic. I was hoping ketovore would help this. I’m wondering whether it could be aggravated by the coffee and/or nuts. Just not strong enough to try cutting these out yet!

@@KetovoreAnita Nuts give me great pains. Almonds and peanuts are the worst. I will never eat any nut again. I make yogurt from raw dairy, but rarely eat it. My husband drinks the yogurt with raw duck eggs in it every morning, and does well with that. I quit coffee for several months, but started drinking watered down decaf on cold mornings. It doesn't seem to bother me. May you have wisdom, and the strength to walk in it. Be well.

I did carnivore after doing keto for 2 yrs at age 62. Did carnivore as elimination diet bc some inflammation stayed even though I reversed T2DIABETES and lost 76 lbs. Added back in foods 1 at a time . Found that nuts allowed on keto, especially almonds cause my back and knees to hurt. Cannot do any friuit since it spikes my bs drastically and then makes me sleepy. Broccoli, Brussels sprouts cause me pain as well. Salads ..just romaine lettuce does not and if we go out to eat I will have a salad with my dinner about 2x month (I take my own homemade dressing of course ).All artificial sweeteners make belly hurt and make me crave all sweets. Now 65 and excellent health ..zero meds and excellent labs first time in 30 yrs.

I was eating ketogenic, with fasting. Usually OMAD, meat, with spinach, arugala, red onion, capsicum, avo, sounds pretty great. But... I could hardly walk with plantar fasciitis, chronic pain. Add on runaway type 2 diabetes and of course metabolic syndrome... I started carnivore 6 weeks ago, I can walk again, the pain is nearly gone, life is good again,

Just had my 5 month Carniversary. My body is healing and strengthening from everything autoimmune (lupus, arthritis, connective tissue disorder, Hashiomoto's etc) My stomach and bowels now work!! I lost my abdominal pouch, almost immediately and then started noticing without Exercise, that my abdominal muscles were becoming strong. I've experienced 4 level fusions of my lumbar and cervical spine and dealt with chronic severe pain. Spine doctor years ago told me to fuse my whole spine. F that. I'm not near pain free, but it's consistently getting better and I am no longer dependent on wearing my cervical traction brace or lumbar support brace. But the best part is the mental clarity and improvement of my anxiety and bipolar etc. I know I would still be degenerating without my lifestyle change. My kidneys and bladder had become sick, and I suffered from repeated pylonephritis. I urinate freely with strong stream now. My blood vessels now have elasticity and I can have labs drawn without 7 pokes and bruises. My skin is soft and supple, my hair is stronger even.
It works. I'm 51 and have been very sick sinse I was 40 ( getting sick much earlier) . I was a nurse before my health failed, and was following advice of docs, taking meds and eating like shite.
I bless the truth telling doctors for saving my life. #carnivorecures

I could not walk a block without suffering shortness of breath and fatigue. Now I am off all meds and walk ten kilometers a day. I also notice a change in my thinking, memory, fatigue. My job is on health care I was going to retire because it was so painful and difficult to work. Now I love my job again and I work faster and seem to be stronger then most of twenty year old cohorts. This man is an example of what good health should look like. All healthy 60 year olds should look like this. As someone who has been on the carnivore diet since 1983, it makes me appreciate how my odd diet has helped me avoid a lot of chronic health issues. One of the best talks yet!! I. Am 79 and a retired nurse. I believe in everything Sean says. He is so right. I lost 50 lbs on keto but gained 10 back. Was prediabetic, high BP, rosacea, chronic cold sores, and many other small things, gone. Only take Armour thyroid hormone replacement now. I wanted to get a rowing machine but when investigating it, it said if you had hip replacements you shouldn’t row. I think I am too old to sprint😢. The only pain I have is my lower back pain from an injury when 16. Chronic pain causes me to not stand straight for period of time. Have pinned rotator cuff 20+ years ago which gets aggravated when I do lot of heavy lifting. Would love to exercise more but what? Also trying to get my husband with Alzheimers to do ketovore. I’m 100% serious here, but start incorporating walking backwards as well as walking sideways to help strengthen those hip joints and further bulletproof your knees.
For frame of reference: look up “KneesOverToesGuy” here on CZcams. He’s exceptional.
You don’t have to lift heavy to get results, but you should SLOWLY push the range-of-motion in your shoulders to get your rotators unstuck.
For shoulders and full body exercise then you should absolutely swim!
Another shoulder health redundancy you should implement is called the “RotatoReliever,” which is also known as the “ShouldeReliever.”
It’s worth every penny you’ll spend. I recommend that product to the high heavens.

What an incredibly humble, kind and thoughtful man he is! More people should adopt his mindset. If you are a doctor, you should be in the medical field to help humanity, not just to have an "authoritative or respected" title. Sadly, too many people trust their "doctor" (who fully expects to be called "Dr." but does not even know the basics of proper human nutrition.) What a good man Sean is for being so genuinely humble and caring.

Alternative to sprinting is find shoulder deep water and tread water like you are saving 10 drowning people at once. Max leg extension back and forth and strait arms horizontal back and forth with full extension and fingers together like paddles so they are hard to move through the water. Go flat out for 30 seconds or as long as it takes to gas out with your heart racing. I do 6 of these with enough time in between for my heart beat to return to almost normal. I hate getting hot during exercise so this is perfect for me in summer and I return to sprinting in winter. Results have been astounding.

Check out the internet and search for the area where you live. Often you have to wait until the producers butcher. Many charge a rate by hanging weight and then you pay a processing fee. You will need to buy a quarter or half animal so you also need a freezer. However, you can also buy organic, grass-fed in smaller amounts at some stores, including organic groceries; it's just more expensive. Organic, free-range pork, beef and chicken taste like they used to taste when I was growing up, yum!

It is so encouraging to see what appears to be an incredible ripple across the spectrum of humanity for the benefits of a carnivore lifestyle. I have nothing against vegetarians or vegans, I was one of them for a time and really enjoyed that lifestyle, I thought. It wasn't until I switched to carnivore that I realized how much of a negative impact eating so many processed and plant-based products was having on my health. I wish something didn't have to die for me to live but I've had to make peace with that. We can't reach our own potential as humans eating processed, genetically modified and poison laden foods. There is so much wrong with our food system that just can't be rinsed off. Thanks for bringing this thought-provoking topic to new audiences.

That animal that had to die for you to live, would have had no life at all if you didn't want to eat it.A pig will get two years of sun, mud and rain, playing with it's siblings, instead of a non existance. The same for most animals that people eat.Non meat eaters prevent animals ever having any kind of existance. If I were a pig I know which I would choose.Keep eating meat, keep giving animals a life!

    • @JulieK89
      @JulieK89 Před 4 měsíci

Many vegans/vegetarians are not aware of how much they are pushing for pesticide usage because of them pushing plant-based food. Soil goes dead, no more nutrients, you're left with dead ground from all that agriculture. And this leads to massive effects on all kinds of small animals, bacteria, insects etc. Most of the vegetarians/vegans don't give a damn about THOSE animals. Carnivores are MUCH more compassionate on that matter. They can live of one cow for a LONG time, using pretty much all of the animal. Whereas just to get some greens on the plate, many animals have died.

All this cutting edge research around mitochondria, age reversal and diet outcomes makes me want to go back to school and get an MD. Shame my first intro into the field, biology in HS freshman year, turned me off completely.
In 2012 I joined a local bootcamp, which consisted of short duration HIIT and functional training "stations" for 1 - 2 minutes, then a 45s rest rotation to the next one over approx. 30 - 45 minutes. At the time I was 38. I was often getting really tired at night before starting and just felt old, lethargic and would hit what I termed "the wall" (that is get super tired at night as my mind wouldn't keep going and I couldn't keep my eyes open).
After I joined the program, I worked out 5 times a day and had cut my caloric intake to 1000 calories a day after having eaten fast food almost daily the previous year. I lost about 70 lbs in 6 months just sticking to the routine. It's amazing how that alone changed my body composition and my energy levels. Despite slowing my exercise regimen and stopping completely by 2018, I'm still in amazing health. Once I started, I eventually had amazing levels of energy but eventually plateaued weight loss despite increasing weights and attempting to change things up.
A decade out, I feel like I'm in my 20s again and have lost not only weight, but a lot of fat mass (I still have an old suit that I never took in from around that time and have to fold the pants about 4 - 6 inches in the back just to wear it, even then it's still loose). I've regained weight to my normal college age weight, but that weight is mostly muscle as the mass hasn't come back.
One other thing of note: I never really got sick after starting that program, which seemed to last until around 2022 when I caught covid on a trip to Dallas. Covid didn't last long; my cold / flu symptoms mostly changed to mild annoyances (I just know I'm fighting something based on less energy and sneezing three times in a row at which point I uptake vitamins and minerals that boost the immune system).
Recent studies show that short duration exercise, like HIIT, functional training, and brisk walking, is actually better for the body than other more intense exercises. I've always tried to walk as fast as I could since college and now my normal, unimpeded (that is no breathing impact) walking speed is ~7 - 9 MPH. During the training period I started going to an indoor track immediately after my workouts and would try to run a mile. It took a few months, but @ ~40 I was doing a ~6.5 minute mile with a resting heart rate of 43 - 46. That really clinched it. I was amazed when I was able to start passing people while running on the track.
Others had expressed anecdotal evidence that adding that type of HIIT / functional training actually made their running better relative to peers they regularly ran with.
I'm now doing extended water fasting (+-20 - 30 days) about 4 times a year because I want to increase longevity, but I intermingle keto/carnivore between fasting periods and have cut out 90% of processed foods. I'm thinking of going full carnivore rather than mixing in leafy greens and broccoli next time I'm out of my fasting window (also thinking of doing 7 day water fasts in between food periods as it seems fasting for 5+ days increases HGH and I see major muscle gains coming off of a fast). The amazing thing is I'm now 48 but my energy levels are like they were when I was 26. Resting heart rate is back to a normal, non-training range (~66 - 80, depending on time of day). Blood pressure is fairly normal as well, which was a touch high last time I went to a doctor 4+ years ago.
I do have a metabolic blood panel coming up soon and that should help me gauge whether or not extended fasting has improved my overall health (specifically insulin sensitivity and cholesterol) as the last fasting metabolic blood panel I had was 4+ years ago.

Dr. Sean is the most humble person with a true passion to help people. His story is amazing. He gives me hope with my recently diagnose of degenerative disease, autoimmune disease, under active thyroid, high cholesterol, aortic aneurysm, severe pain in shoulders, pelvic area and hips, and more! I have muscle weakness, inflammation, severe weight gain, ovarian cyst, high blood pressure and hormone imbalances. I am waiting to hear results of ultrasound for gall bladder/liver issues. I am keeping my body parts! I tell you I feel like a 70 year old! The first video I seen a different one that Dr. Sean did. Since then I am eating carnivore diet videos. I have to say Dr. Sean is by far the most passionate about this with the best presentation. After watching his videos there is no way you can deny trying it!
I am slowly entering carnivore. I have to be careful due to my gallbladder/liver situation. I am removing all processed foods. Increased my protein consumption taking in grassfed meat only again. Removing dairy because dairy is my trigger. I may have SIBO I just do not want to do the test. I just need to change my diet.
I have been trying to get help for 4 months from my dr. I had to switch doctors to get answers. I had to ask for every referral to try to figure it out. My cardiologist is great. My new Gyno is great. My NEW DO is great! He actually squeezed me in before 100 people on the cancellation list due to my aortic aneurysm diagnosis with the knowledge my current dr was not doing his job. He knows this because he has a ton of new patients from my doctor.
I fasted a lot and was getting in great shape again until something happened and I started gaining weight like crazy. My first sign was thyroid. Then everything else followed suit. It was insane. I refuse to go to ER. I waited to talk to my new dr. He already ordered my CT Scan thinking I had lung issues. But since my stomach started not feeling well and my pain increased dramatically he agreed to do cT of Abdominal and pelvic on top of chest CT. My biggest complain was my chest and back pain which is related to gall bladder/liver. As we are waiting for ultrasound of liver and gallbladder I needed to manage my inflammation and pain. I was shocked to read people’s testimonies about kidney, liver , gallbladder issues! Big pharma says meat is 👿. I trusted Dr. Sean without question. I am not doing 100% because I do not even know if my gallbladder is functioning. I am not going to have another attack that I had the other day. I just know dairy WAS my trigger.
My liver enzymes were sky high! I already told my new doctor I was going to fast before I do any surgery. I am guessing he already knows but doing ultrasound to confirm. Sorry Charlie, I am not removing my gall bladder. My Gyno wants me to remove my ovaries due to cyst since I am at that age. I’m still fertile! I value my hormones! I will not hit that “ugly button”. Lol if you follow Dr. Sean you will know what that means! God gave us all our body parts, they are not meant to be removed! God bless Dr. Sean for his passion! I firmly believe I can reverse EVERY SYMPTOM and hopefully encourage my new Doctor to stay true to his path, DO NO HARM!
I am asking my doctor for an MRI! I believe my insurance will cover it while I have these symptoms! I need to be able to make an educated decision on surgeries. Show me proof so I can make the best decision for myself.
    Proof is in the pudding!
I will keep Dr. Sean informed!

I have to get on carnivore soon. I've had back and hip pain for years. Farmed for 24 yrs till I divorced. To much heavy lifting for a woman unless you are a carni😒. In my 40s I was told I have degenerate disc disease and a bulging disc. Was nothing to carry 50lbs of feed on my shoulder (still can) carried 2 5gal pails of milk at a time. And numerous other things that hurt me bad. Even thru my 4 pregnancies I worked like a man. Lots of pain I would like to correct.

Also Barrett’s Esophogus, stage 3-4. I’m very encouraged by your video. My brother’s been solid carnivore for years (beef only, salt, water) so I’ve been looking into it. I already am very close, just protein and greens so I’m starting the whole deal today. Endoscopy scheduled this summer….

I know just what Dr. Sean is talking about when it comes to back pain. I felt the same when a sneeze or a cough was coming on. After suffering for year after year for years. I now have a dead mussels on my hip and my hip is damaged. The pain in my back and hip is at times too much to take. I wish I had known about this years ago. Thank you for sharing this. - have been so confused about what is the good fat and the bad fat on beef. Thank you for explaining that. I have been on the Carnivore Diet now since Feb 25 2024. I watched other videos and they say to eat all the fat on the meat more fat in the meat the better. Steak, roasts, ribs etc. I buy grass feed beef only (I can't eat store bought beef, makes me feel sick) but most of the beef has fat marbling in it. I wonder now if I got the grass feed beef I paid for. I made ribs and the fat was between the meat. So that is the bad fat? Wow! I did not know that. I don't eat bacon. But. What about bacon? Is it the bad fat? I can not imagine I will ever be able to sprint again or ride my horses again. My back and hip is so bad. My back is bent sideways and doctors I have seen told me my only option is a back operation that I will never do again. So, I have just lived with it. Thank you both for this video and all the information.

1:28:05 YES! It helps FAST! Within 3-4 DAYS I didn't need anything for pain! Within a week, I felt only remnants of the chronic back pain I had for years. Now I only have appropriate situational pain from deliberate exertion, ie exercise or gardening.
    Just my own experience❤

I've had the same beginning effects of carnivore.
I only learned about Carnivore because my son wanted to do it and I freaked out. He was only 16. So I studied it to try and keep him safe.
Well turns out all that studying amazed me. Mikhaila Petersons unpublished Ted Talk was the final straw for me to accept it.
I didn't start until later when I was told I had to have surgery. I got all of my pre-op MRI, ultrasound, X-rays done and the Dr. Made a last minute comment that it's a shame I can't get inflammation down faster to save my nerve in my foot and take pressure off tendons. I said actually let me try this one thing.
MY PAIN WAS GONE IN TWO WEEKS 🙌. No surgery needed anymore after almost a year of barely being able to put pressure on my foot/ankle!
Honestly, it's been the best thing ever. ❤

Yep… I got better changing to carnivore… managed my T2D better my back pain. Lost weight not as easy as expected (had to add fasting and very high fat as well as Sardine fasting and OMAD)… excersized but What I could not understand though was why the overall pain in my body was not going away… high blood pressure was not controllable.. my fasting glucose was high…despite all of above…long story short.. we found out finally that on top I do have CIDP and Cushing … I guess that my way of eating saved me from having the full flair of both of those diseases… now I am gaining weight…face and visceral… am weak (muscles/nerves) and have fatigue loosing hair… I hope that with the right treatment and nutrition … I will be able to overcome all of it…my message here is … if carnivore is not working immediately or properly… there might be something underneath that should be looked into😅😊still.

Knees Over Toes Guy has helped me with knee pain too! But I still feel I need to switch from ketovore (10yrs) to carnivore. But I'm so frustrated with the fact I i should give up gardening veggies. I'm fearful of animal products being limited by, well you know. I do it still to keep my skills up, just in case. But haven't eaten processed foods for 10yrs, but still struggle with weight and pain. 59 yo female with low thyroid issues. Which I could find a doc like you in Oregon.

Carnivore 2022-2023 and lost 50 pounds. Stress and loss of job had me back on cheap pasta and oats and in 9 months gained back 30 pounds and depressed. Back on carnivore and want that feeling that I had last year in the spring before I fell off. After 2 months with a lot of hiccups and sugar binged 3 times, I keep trying because I know I felt the best when on it. Emmathecarnivore said lack of fat maybe as to why I still crave sugar. Going to next try to keep my fat up. Hoping it works.

In 22 did 3 months strictly carnivore.. lost 30 lbs was at my high school weight and stomach was flat. Had to buy a leather belt hole puncher as none of my belts would work lol. Then my daughter and wife’s birthdays ( in the same week ) came and I felt I deserved the ice cream cake… well a few backyard barbecues later and I gained everything back. I just can’t seem to get back to it :-(
I watch videos every week to inspire me but the bad food is everywhere 😢

Going on Carnivore - Carnivorian , I am able to stare at all these confusing events from my past , 60 years of it , with compassion and understanding . Its so easy to forgive when you can see the psychosis clearly . But the sense of detachment from the wrong doers is a miracle for my person self . I tell people I am irrationally happy . No matter what arrives , I feel so calm inside , since the carnivore balance . Being carnivore for my body is like meditation for my brain .
