Launch of St. Brigid's Cloak created by the community of Kildare

Four beautiful St. Brigid's cloaks, made from Irish wool and knit together by the community of Kildare and the people of Ireland to celebrate St. Brigid's Day, have been launched for display at St. Brigid's Cathedral in Kildare town. The project, supported by Creative Ireland and Kildare County Council and delivered by Lorna McCormack of Wool in School, welcomed 926 individuals across different ages and backgrounds contributing to create a truly community-first tapestry.
