Great videos as usual Ronnie, coming to Fethiye, Calis beach next week and will definitely try Big Chefs. This is our fifth visit in the last couple of years and love the place, the people and the history of the Fethiye and surrounding areas. It’s chucking it down here in Prestonpans 😅 so can’t wait to get some decent weather, cheers and take care.

We went 23 years ago and returned 12 years ago, couldn't believe the growth. Some great places to visit, Saklikent gorge, Myra, Dalyan, Calis, Olu, Kalkan....
Just hate the hassle at night and in Fethiye, its put us off, and now the prices are very expensive. Shame, Turkush govt. taxes to high for ev1
All those places lovely. Yes Türkiye is more expensive now...but the standards now from before are so much higher everywhere. Oh we love it!

Hi Joseph.. go to fethiye promenade apposite the old town. The Calis boat taxi is there. You can go directly to calis beach. Its next to where the boat stops. It's the best way.
Sehit Fethy Bey Parki is missing. A free great place for children and adults alike with skate park, basketball court, calisthenics place to workout, toilets and a little bar to buy drinks and simits.

It's a 10 minute walk from the big mosque were all the buses stop in town. When you arrive drop me a message on my Facebook group MR FETHIYE and I can send you the best way to walk it

I see you had a drone- we’re booked to come in August, what are the drone laws for taking a dgi mini 4?
You need to register drones in turkey...the aviation online dept. The Dgi is below the weight for professional so its OK to bring but you still need the permission. Some people take the risk. Turkey has a coast with jandarma and police depots so it's real difficult to fly coastal where these facilities are. So do your checks.
Just wondering about the cash side of things, should i bring lira and/or euros? Friends tell us the shops like euros
Bring your Euros or foreign currency and change it for Tl when you are here. Pay in TL as much as possible.
Is mid April a good time to be in Fetiye? I want to swim in the seaside in oludeniz
It might be cold in April even though the weather is very hot. It takes a while to heat up..usually May!
