Absolutely! I've been listening to this song since Willie Nelson recorded it in the mid-1970s. There have been a lot of great versions since then but few if any that surpass this one.

Well, fantasticamo!!!:) What a surprise opening, I was waiting for Geary to step up and instead Anni carried it all the way through! And with the word slurs so craftily sung! The part where the trio came in almost left my blue eyes crying at this end, it was that good, super country!!!!!!
What a sweet surprise, logging in to find The Burnett Sisters Band performing “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”, my favorite Fred Rose tune. As usual Anneli nails it. If I remember correctly this song was Willie Nelson's first No. 1 hit recording. It'll always be a mystery to me why Fred Rose never had Hank Williams record it in the studio. I have to assume he heard Hank's Mothers Best cover of it, which is pretty darn good. Anyway, thanks Anneli and all the gang, you made my day!
