Mystery Island Fire Walking Short Excursion Carnival Luminosa

When attending ship excursions, it is important to get to the meeting time ahead of schedule.
Mystery Island has no inhabitants. The fire walking & custom magic tour involves visiting a nearby mainland, where people live, and taking a small boat to the island for a firewalking and custom magic tour. Some cruisers were surprised that they would have to be in a smaller boat & the bad weather, but everyone managed to get over to the big island. The guide then shows the group how to make a fire using special trees and coconut husks. It was explained that there are over 100 different dialects to communicate with the locals. The tour then goes to a village where the locals demonstrate firewalking, and the guide notes that it was slower than he had seen before. It is worth doing the ship shore excursions as it supports the local economy.
