    Tony, just did your steps today on a 4yo Yukon Solo. Never been deep cleaned. Amazing how well it turned out. Mine looked similar to yours and now outside is brand new. It burns so well now and the steps are pretty easy if you take your time and do small sections. Sharing with all my Solo mates.

    I just bought a brush kit and use Bar Keeper's Friend on kitchen and bathroom surfaces all the time. Now I know it's safe to combine the two on my Bonfire. Thanks for the video.

    Didn't buy one yet but it's interesting to see how the metal holds up with years of use . Looks good 👍 after years of use . It must be a good grade of stainless steel there is different grades of metal they must of picked a higher chrome content.

      Absolutely worth the money. Also it’s. A lifetime guarantee. It’s not cast iron it’s stainless so will last forever.

    Where did you buy the brush?

    • @tonycampanella4597
      @tonycampanella4597  Před rokem +1

      A small online bookstore called Amazon.com. Just search for Drill Brush and you’ll see lots of options.

    Might be easier to just use soap and water garden hose and a stainless steel scrubby

    Why would you clean the inside?

    • @tonycampanella4597
      @tonycampanella4597  Před 2 lety

      2 reasons.
      1. This was during one of the lockdowns, so why not clean a fire pit.
      2. There was so much stuff in there, I was thinking that the cleaner it is, the cleaner the chamber between the inner and outer wall where the secondary burn happens.
      Probably not necessary but it’s always fun the clean dirty stuff.

    Can I do this project with a friend or do I have to do it Solo?
    Do I have to use Heavy Metal polish or is there a Kenny G polish I could try?
    Also, I prefer to not grind from an angle as I have hip issues. Is the angle necessary?
    Thanks in advance.

    What's the purpose of cleaning the inside, does it burn better when it looks pretty? 🤣

    • @tonycampanella4597
      @tonycampanella4597  Před 2 lety +1

      of course not, but I figured the more junk stuck to the walls, the more would enter the chamber where the secondary burn happens. Who knows?
