Katniss Everdeen is the main protagonist and the narrator of The Hunger Games trilogy. After her younger sister, Primrose, was reaped to participate in the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss volunteered to take her place as the female tribute from District 12. This action set in motion the events of the entire series.
Minister Hermione Jean[27] Granger (b. 19 September, 1979)[1] was an English Muggle-born[3] witch born to Mr and Mrs Granger. At the age of eleven, she learned about her magical nature and was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hermione began attending Hogwarts in 1991 and was Sorted into Gryffindor House. She possessed a brilliant academic mind and proved to be a gifted student in almost every subject that she studied.
Hermione first met Harry Potter and Ron Weasley aboard the Hogwarts Express, who found her unfriendly and somewhat of an "insufferable know-it-all", an impression reinforced by her constant correct answers and eagerness to please the professors. However, she stepped in to take the blame from the boys after they had saved her from a troll on Hallowe'en in 1991, surprising them in a grateful way, which led to them quickly becoming friends. She later played a crucial role in protecting the Philosopher's Stone from Voldemort.

As a history teacher of over 20 years, my goal is to provide context, explanations, and my all around insane recall abilities for all things history, popular culture, comic books, movies, and more... to add and enlarge other creations, as well as my viewer's experiences and understanding, with a chill and laid back personality.
I am not here to act or to play to an audience but be genuine AF in my breakdowns and reactions to things like; epic rap battles of history, oversimplified history videos, sam onella academy, bill wurtz, infographics, freshy kanal, all types of rap battles and the occasional geek/nerd reactions to things involving Star Wars, Marvel, DC, etc. but no, I am not a fan of Anime, sorry.

Rue is the little girl that took care of Katniss in the first movie for several days while she was unconscious from the sting of Venomous bees. She was killed in front of her Buy another tribute.
The movies did Ron so fucking dirty. In the books he's a genius chess player, he's Harry's and Hermione's guide to the wizarding world (he's the one explaining the slur mudblood for example, NOT Hermione). In the movies pretty much every single scene that made Ron an excellent character was cut. Ron is the one who stands on a broken leg between Harry and Sirius black in the 3rd book (in the movies, it's Hermione). I just don't get WHY they did it, Hermione had plenty of scenes already where she's a fantastic character, they didn't need to steal Ron's best moment. It's been years and I'm still mad about it.
Muggle is just a person without magic, it's not a slur. You're thinking of the term mudblood which is a derogatory term for muggle-borns (witches and wizards with non-magical parents, like Hermione)

@@chaddon7685 I don’t know if you can call her a Mary Sue. What’s her face Skywalker is a Mary Sue. Hermione is just intelligent. She’s not a good fighter, she’s not athletic help she couldn’t even produce a Petronas until the end of fifth year and steel had trouble with it in sixth and the seventh book. The only skills she provides is in the way of intelligence and problem-solving. Harry’s the fighter, Ron is the guide for the two non-wizards, and Hermione paid attention in class. If you’ve ever been on a college campus; Hermione basically reminds you/me of every girl that train wrecks the grade curve. Here’s a good example potions class it’s just following directions it’s a cookbook pretty much. When Harry had better instructions half blood Prince he stomped Hermione’s ass. In fact Harry saves Hermione’s just as many if not more times than Hermione saves Harry’s life. If you want to count them we can. In fact I’ll make a list below. If you find items on it that you don’t recognize or are unfamiliar with I’m using the books as my source not the movies.

One of the punishments in the Hunger Games books was to have your tongue cut out and forced to serve as a servant. This was an avox.

The Ron + Hermione thing makes a lot more sense in the books as Hermione wasn't friggin' Emma Watson. She was much more awkward and not nearly as great looking. Also the movies did Ron a bit dirty as a lot of his lines were given to Hermione. He was originally the one explaining wizarding world to both Harry and Hermione who knew very little about it
Nah even in the books the whole Ron/Hermione romance isn't as good. Overall the romance aspect in the series wasn't well written. Even Rowling admitted that she had Hermione end up with Ron as her wish fulfillment when she was interviewed by Emma.

Katniss dad dies in a coal fire/cave in accident. And in the 3nd (I think book) she is used in a ad at a hospital which gets fire bombed.

Ron sacrificed himself on the chess set, stared down an elephant sized spider as an aracnaphobe, stood up to Sirius who he thought was a serial killer, ran away to hunt the horcruxes when he would have been perfectly safe as a pureblood. All while bringing an orphaned boy into his family making him feel loved and wanted for the first time in his life. Ron gets so much undeserved hate.

I think what PRB has going for it, is that you can enjoy them in one watch, even if you don't catch every reference. I watch your reaction to these to actually see your reaction, where as with ERB, I'm watching your reaction to get a handle on the bars I missed watching it myself.

Keeper is what Brits call a Goal Keeper. They do it in soccer, too.
You're a big history buff so you may know this, but the Brits are the reason we call "football" soccer. When it first started, football referred to either Rugby or the pre-Aussie Rules Football. When soccer started, it was known as AsSOCiation Football, or, SOCcer for short.
We kept it, they changed it.
There was another reactor who watched the first Princess Rap Battle of Elsa v Snow White. He wasn't impressed. I put a comment suggesting he jump to this one, and after watching it he said, "This is more like it!"

I am so glad you finally got around to this. I have to disagree. While there are similarities, Hinger Games is not the same as Battle Royale. This is like saying that James Cameron’s Avatar is the same as Fern Gully. Yes there is plenty of similarities but they are different.
They made a toy Nimbus broom that vibrated, but it got pulled when young girls liked it too much.

To be honest the Rue being dead line was weak. It should have been about Katniss' sister Primrose as it's an even bigger diss. Katniss volunteered as Tribute to save her sister but in the end Primrose still died in the last book/movie. She failed to protect her sister in the end making her sacrifice moot.
Even Katniss thinks Harry should be with Hermione. Love it.

Actually, I predicted Harry with Ginny and Hermione with Ron after reading the first book. The foreshadowing in their chemistries was point blank from the first chapters. My sister did too. We talked about it around the time of the release of book 3

Muggle is like Lily Evans AKA Harry's Mother, and Harry's Aunt and Uncle, and overall muggles are who wasn't born in witches or wizard's family
so I think Muggle is in neutral term, it's not good but it's not bad to BE ONE either

Muggle isn't necessarily a bad thing. It simply means non magical. Mudblood and squib are considered bad, especially mudblood..as Ron explains it means "dirty blood."

Idk if the movies give you enough without the books, but hunger games are 80% ABOUT the fukked up world that leads to a battle royale and how to deal with our REAL WORLD obsession with damaging entertainment.
The battle isn't super awesome because it's not the point. It's just a good metaphor for what's going on outside the walls

A lot of things went a little over your head.
The one big problem with princess rap battles I have is every battle they did has a similar flow with a rare occurance of speed rap that they only do once within a battle that doesn't do well and then they just revert to the same old flow. Also don't get me started on the weird pauses between verses, it is so bad.

Actually if you read the books Ron isn't really a loser. The 1st couple of years he definitely has an inferiority complex which causes him to not truly try his best in his studies, but he's a chess wiz & when someone he cares about is in trouble he doesn't run away despite being scared so he's actually brave too. Later he starts realizing his potential in both studies & sports, & is no longer seen by most as just being mediocre. Lavender definitely likes him, & not because he's friends with Harry or little brother to the twins. No he's not top of the class but he's not in danger of flunking either. Like Harry he makes decent grades come exam time. His inferiority complex does flare up a few times through the books, but he's still a child so it's understandable that he's still learning to be his own person in addition to trying to live up to his parents' expectations of bravery & smarts associated with being a Weasley. Even in book 7 he, Hermione & Harry are only 17 & should be in their senior year of school. Like Harry he hasn't memorized as many spells & as much history as Hermione, but in battle he holds his own. He's not only brave but quick thinking & skillful at what he does know. Later he & Harry become accomplished Aurors & then he retires from that to be a businessman, joining the twins' business. If he wasn't just as good at it then he wouldn't have been asked.
He was basically just a late bloomer both physically & due to his psychological issues. For most of his life before going to Hogwarts he was told of his mom's hero brothers who died in the 1st war with Voldemort as well as being compared to his own older brothers. His brothers always were special in some way &/or outstanding students from the start like his parents were, & on top of that he was told by his parents that he literally wouldn't even have been born if they weren't trying for a daughter, because they already had 5 sons & that was plenty. Then right after him finally came that daughter they (especially his mom) had wished so hard for. In many ways Ron felt unwanted, like his parents only loved him because they were required to. They were stuck with him. He felt overlooked in the crowd of siblings since he was just ordinary, & being the youngest boy meant almost everything he was given his whole life was an obviously worn out hand-me-down. Even his pet rat was a hand-me-down. Other than his wand & the stuff his mom knitted for all the kids (sweaters, scarf, gloves, etc) he didn't ever seem to get anything new. Ginny, being the only girl got almost everything new (not school books, but personal items like clothes & such). She also got that special "girls only" connection with & attention from their mom. Despite loving his siblings he was also massively jealous of them because the parents would always seem to lavish praises on the accomplishments of the older boys. Even the twins got new "dress robes" for the ball since the hand-me-down, very worn, out of style formal suit couldn't be shared & they were too tall for it anyway, so it got passed on to Ron. But by the time Voldemort had been defeated, he had become confident in himself & a capable young man. He got over his jealousy & realized he had just as much to offer the world. He became mature enough to realize that his own insecurity was what had held him back before, not that he wasn't as good or smart as his brothers. (Of course he & Harry always acknowledged that nobody beat Hermione when it came to knowledge.)
Hermione is the hero of the movies only because the guy who wrote the screenplay loves her.
In the books, Ron is fairly amazing and the three are very, very balanced.
In the books, you almost wonder why Ron is with her.
Oh and they did the robot because they were calling her one for the military complex.

Well katniss actually is a hero if you would have watched the whole hunger games series you would have known that she leads armies against the capital so that her people can be free from the hunger games and president Snow's control they had to live like slaves until katniss took a stand against the capital there's more to hunger games and it gets better through the other movies of it
