What if I don't want to put all the samples (with the .exs file) onto my HD but instead keep the samples running and being referenced off an external HD? The sample pack I'm using is 8 Gbs and I don't want that on my computer

Stefan, do files have to be .patch in order to input instruments this way? is it possible to add kits by simply dragging and dropping or is ultrabeat the only avenue for that point ?
+Rocks G hey, it depends on what software instrument it is for. .Patch files are for saved grouped settings (i.e a multitude of settings, software instruments). But to answer your question, dragging and dropping is not possible.
I’ve bought trap attack 1 2 and dmd and the dmd wont pull up on logic I checked hierarchy and reinstalled it multiple times doesn’t work any known fix

I found my the instruments on the plug in manager but can’t access them or don’t know where to find that on logic
I can't figure any of this out. I've downloaded trap attack 2, trap attack DMD, Trap attack BTRY and I'm still only getting these different tones of 808. Please help
Hey man. Firstly thanks for your purchases, I appreciate all the support! The reason you’re getting tones with Trap Attack II is because the samples are not where Logic expects them to be. (Well that is the case 99% of the time.) send me screenshots of where you placed each of the files for Trap Attack II to stefan(at)stefanguyaudio.com
I did what you said and upon clicking Trap Attack from the User Patches tab it says:
EXS24 instrument "Trap Attack.exs" not found.
Any help would be greatly appreciated man

That's strange, if logic or garageband is installed you should have the Audio Music Apps folder. Try searching for it via Spotlight.

I downloaded your "Trap Attack II" patch and I can't figure out how to get it working correctly. It seems to only play an 808 sample down the whole keyboard, and I can't access the other features (kick, snare, hi hat, etc.) Do you have any thoughts on how to correct this problem? Thanks a bunch!

I just redownloaded the patch and restarted my computer and that fixed it. Hopefully that helps!

Did you delete the content or something? cuz I downloaded the pack, followed this video, and now it says EXS24 instrument "Trap Attack.exs" not found.
Hey Sonja. No content has been deleted no, just make sure you are copying the the whole folder named “Trap Attack” that’s inside the main “Trap Attack” folder into the Sampler Instruments folder. As inside that seconded Trap Attack folder is the exs file you need.

How do i set up trap attack to the akai keyboard?
hi, i just purchased, my folder only came with the patch a template and a user guide, I don't see any the samples nor the exes
+Omar Brito hey Omar, firstly thanks for your purchase! Trap Attack doesn't come with any samples. It's just a patch template that enables you to use any logic or third party samples with it. It does mention it on the sales page but it is at the bottom and mention at the end of the video so I do understand if you missed it. Let me know if this is ok for you.

downloaded the free trap attack kit and installed it and I tried using it in logic (using the keyboard) but its just making that piano sound no hi hats or claps or anything please help I want to buy the 2nd trap attack kit but want to know how this works plz help

I have now downloaded your kits (Trap Attack ll and Trap Attack),3 times and it only works with the 808 bass. I can´t find the snares, hi-hats, kicks etc. on my keyboard.Only different tones of the 808. Hope you can help me. Thanks for the free kit btw.
Hey Sebastian, thanks for your support. I've had this issue with someone before and as I suspected it wasn't the 808 basses they were hearing it was sine waves. Logic will place sine waves in place of samples if samples are missing. Can you confirm that the Samples along with the .exs24 file are in the correct folder as shown on this video? We can take it from there. Thanks again.

I dragged the patches to the correct folder and user patches don't show up on my logic still.

Hey I use to live on RuneScape haha! Anyways do you want to use the drum samples? If so they are in the folder that is placed in the sampler instruments folder.
Do I do the same thing for TRAP ATTACK DMD?? I got both!

Downloaded trap attack 1 and 2 just now, followed instructions as directed. No go when I go into my "User Patches" section of Logic Pro X (10.3.2). I'll find your email and send you screen shots Stefan.
