Water Based Discharge Inks VS Mesh Counts. Some Experiments.

    I've been doing some test prints with discharge inks lately, making samples for my own future reference. Since I was unable to find anything like this online I thought I'd post the results here, in case it's useful for others.
    This experiment was done with water based discharge ink and ZFS activator.
    This ink has no pigment in it and essentially "bleaches" the cotton back to it's original color, which is beige. These shirts feel super soft since you aren't adding any ink to the shirt. I plan on doing more of these samples, for other types of water based inks. The samples are handy to keep around if you're unsure about mesh selection. There's a real lack of info on water based printing online. I find if a video doesn't specifically call out water based, they are certainly using plastisol.
