Easily one of my favourite Pantera songs.
As a Glam Metal fan it Blows me away that Pantera didn't take off with Terry his voice is so unique and just unreal, I'm glad his Legacy is this, Dime was very proud of their Glam past!
They just stayed in Texas and Oklahoma...
Their cover of Seen and Destroy from Lawton, Ok from 1984 is awesome and hilarious.

*Diamond* Darrell was a teenager when he made this album and he was already amazing! His leads were like Van Halen/Randy Rhoads hybrids with his own wammy bar, pinch harmonic stuff

Before his death, Vince acted like he was ashamed of the "Glamtera" albums and Rex swears up and down that they will never be reissued and that he doesn't consider anything from before Phil joined to be true Pantera. He seemed truly hostile towards Terry Glaze when Terry said that he would like to see those albums reissued.
Honestly, I don't see what there is to be ashamed of. They were a bunch of teenagers who emulated their idols until they found their own sound and there's actually some good music from that era if you're willing to listen. I jammed every Pantera album from Cowboys From Hell onward through high school and had no idea that Pantera released 4 albums before that era even existed.
This song in particular has become one of my favorite Pantera songs.
Same here. Heard Cowboys from hell and was blown away. Never knew the were a Glam band in the 80s but I'm digging Most of it especially this song and We'll meet again.

@@roadstomadness2335 Power Metal was the first album with Phil and that seems to be where their sound really started to get a lot heavier. I think I read that Terry bailed out because he wasn't a fan of the heavier direction but there's still some good music to be found on the albums he did.

@@Maddogg-hg5me When I heard Goodbye Love with Phil's voice I can see they got heavier. For some dumb reason the song has a Grim Reaper and Judas priest vibe to it. But this song has more of a hairband sound like slaughter and kiss. Still think the songs are cool. Just a amazing difference from Cowboys from hell 🤘🖤
