What are you talking about?? This scooter is solid as a rock on the motorway, also it's not light @ 180 kg. The frame is all metal, the brakes and suspension is great. The plastics is just the surface. I have been riding an xmax on highway all this summer and not once have it felt out of place.

He also said there is not so much space under the saddle. For a dude who is riding especially sport motorcycles, this seem "normal". Usually sport motorcycles have a station wagon comparable trunk... This is the usual entitled moron showing off his tasteless sarcasm.

I got one, exact color, love the ride, gets me everywhere fast. I had half a tank for two weeks im still on 1/4 tank. So it has great gas mileage. Power is decent, can carry light groceries. Its the perfect commute bike for me. As far as on the freeways, of course youll get windage and its how you respond when it happens. I researched this bike and it was a perfect fit. Going to ride later.

Light? Really? 4 pounds short of 400 pounds is light? It's an all metal frame. This was the first scooter I test rode when I started shopping. Rode GREAT on the Interstate doing 80 mph. Of course there's wind....it's a scooter. Even motorcycles get that.

  • @billpapadimitropoulos1191

what a bunch of crap... it is stable on motorways , traveling 80 mph you can sip coffee with one hand on the bars, i would have taken it up to 120mph if it could, with that said up to 90 it is super stable, strong winds will get any bike, but i really never felt any worse on this, probably better...

Hi, thanks for posting this video. I am now thinking of upgrading my scooter from the Jiajue 150cc scooter bike. I hear you make several negative judgments about your Yamaha Xmax. You have to trust your bike. With my Jiajue 150cc, I ride the 1-84, I-95, Taconic highway, and pretty much every long-distance highway around New York. I also ride to work on a highway 35 miles distance and my Chinese off-brand seems to do me well and a pretty good job on bumpy local roads. Your scooter is way more capable than mine for a 292cc. Just trust your scooter man.

Ok.... So you're scared of doing 112- 120 Kmph, you should try the T-Max then, 560cc Scooter.
The X-Max is 19 Kg heavier than my YZF-R3, it's not a light bike for 300cc class.
All the weight is down low so it gives you the elusion of being a light scooter.
With a few light bolt on mods the X-Max will do 160 Kmh.
