I hope we gonna have some sales discount soon? I missed the last one just short 200 Zen for the number 1 bundle from your list, and it is the best one no doubt.
I really like the 10th anniversary bumdle. It is one of my favorites
It has a lot of good ships with plenty of useful traits and consoles still. I don't regret the purchase.
The 15 Seconds lockout of thirst for Battle are there, but they end with the expiration of the trait. It does not refresh the timer when it already is active by activating another energy weapons ability.
The 11th legendary excelsior being better than the 10th Sovereign is a warcrime.
the BoP with 4/2 was the worse warcrime.

In that sense, STO has come full circle ... as when the game started it had the Galaxy, Sovereign or Galaxy Dreadnought, but the Excelsior (and the BoP) ruled the game for quite a while .
As for the Legendary Sovereign ... it's not as bad as Casual makes it out to be .
Sure, it's a 4/4 , but with the Isomags and the recent Haste buffs -- I have a Beam Overload setup on mine , and it absolutely demolishes things in Elite pugs + it's flight is nice and responsive , unlike many other cruisers .
Yeah, the legendary Avenger is way too good. I dislike most fed ships, I'm strictly KDF and ROM, but OMG the Avenger! The speed and turn rate is EPIC. 🖤
Indeed! Ît really has everything you could want in a ship. Maneuverability, firepower and it's a tough cookie to boot, more than capable as a tank. The Leg. Bortasqu isn't bad either (would even be better with a hangar bay though) and between the two ships, you can pretty much do any build except EPG. And you get a ton of really useful and powerful traits and consoles too. Really worth the Zen.
Worth getting even if I've got the Promo Inquiry already? I don't know much deep technical stuff but I noticed the Leg Avenger has a pretty low shield modifier.
@@thomasjoychild4962 Yeah still worth it. Shields don't really matter that much in this game, so just build her as a hull tank. She's still one of the toughest ships of her class.

The Gamma Vanguard pack shouldn't be dismissed for the good value it provides. Lots of decent ships and useful stuff inside. I recommend it.
Legendary Avenger/Inquiry is my top ship account unlock and a Favorite overall.
I hope they will make a Legendary Kirk Class comparable bundle to the Legendary Avenger/Inquiry at that price point I would certainly buy it !
If they did I hope we would see with different bridge officer seating to seat Cannon Scatter Volley 3/Beam Overload 3/Fire at will 3, and Surgical Strikes 3 on different seating so you could switch back and forth from tactical attack to surgical strikes like on the Hydra.
I use that in elite content a lot.
Can Scatter Volley 3 when clearing out mobs then switch to surgical strikes for big health targets.

bop having 4/2 is just a blatant insult, thats all. its disrespect, hate ect. esp with 10nth having defiant 5/3, still way better the "legendery" bop
and then they released mirror defiant 5/2/1 that has the raider flanking of bop stolen and is even more op then previous defiant, what a joy.
True. But then again, the BoP only really got its fearsome reputation from its cloak ambush ability. The ship itself always was a rather small and mediocre raider that was only dangerous in the hands of a competent Klingon captain. Or in large numbers. Nothing compared to the D7 really. But yeah, doesn't make it any better in game.
Original reason, I wanted the 10th anniversary.Bundles was for the hero ships and their abilitif.I can get Kier 6 versions of these ships in other ways.I will do that because it's gonna take years for me to be able to get the coins to actually buy this

The 10th-A is sadly more quantity than quality now given its age. I'd argue anything with lobi isn't as valued as you tout since its been a long time since anything significant has been added to the Lobi Store. It might be harsh but whomever decided to neuter the Lego BoP in the 11th-A like that I'm not sad to see gone during this Cryptic to DECA transition. I wish I had access to those Vanguard BOFFs, but I usually refuse to pay for ships I already bought. I'm sure I'm the minority but I've never been a huge fan of the Akira designs. When considering the Lego Battlecruiser bundle I already have the Inquiry & all the Lego Bort' consoles from the Lego Odyssey so I passed.
Another very informative video. It can certainly save folk splashing out for lesser performing bundles in error. I do own most of the bundles. It's a shame the 10th hasn't aged well as I do love the ships in them, and a couple (at the moment) are my highest DPS builds for BO and SS. I was disappointed with the Leg Sov in it though. The Leg Akira is a fun ship for a torp build (until I get my Eagle that is). All in all I think the list is an accurate reflection of the ships and abilities in the game. I can definitely state that the Leg Avenger is a fantastic ship and I love flying it. My very first C Store ship was the Arbiter and this Leg version brought back a lot of fond memories, plus you get the Inquiry skins with it as well. The Bort is a slow old girl, but she does pack a punch. I'd recommend to anyone looking at getting their first bundles to get the Leg Aveng and the Leg Terran Dread bundles. Great ships, good prices and some fun fluff in the bundles to.
Hopefully the next bundles will build on the recipe that the 13th and Leg Battle bundles did.
I'd also recommend joining the discords Spencer has listed. Folk on there are extremely helpful and it doesn't matter if you've been playing for 10 mins or 10 years, you can always feel comfortable asking any question and you'll get answers.
Can't argue with this list. The Leg. Battlecruiser bundle is pretty much a game changer.
I really wish the Jem'hadar Vanguard Boffs you get from the Gamma Vanguard Pack would allow you to reclaim so you could get at least two of each (2 tac, 2 eng and 2 sci). Just from a "theme" perspective, I'd like use them to fully slot in my ship layouts. Having it restricted to only have 1 of each, is a bit limited. And like you said, they're not as good as the SROs or the Watchers...so why are they restricted? Just a small pet-peeve from my Jem'hadar character. ;)
Huge shame that they didn't make the Legendary B'rel 5/1 they lost my money for it because of that.
Making me feel really good about my investment into Legendary Battlecruisers when it went on sale last. To be fair, I was either going that or First Strike, since I wanted Emergency Weapons Cycle

Legendary Dominion Captain Bundle I feel is very good. Helps out a lot of different playstyles.
It is. The legendary attack ship is one tough and nimble beast and one of the best escorts in the game, but the rest of the bundle is meh.

The only - let's call them that - serious money I gave in this game was on that legendary battlecruiser bundle and that was while it was in the promo period for less money. I don't regret it for a moment, a great investment for the whole account.

I got the Leg. Battlecruiser bundle in the last sale, my main is max level Fed, i maxed out traits on both ships but traits from KDF ship does not appear on my Fed char, my KDF char is low level, do i need to be lvl 65 with FDK in order for traits to be unlocked account wide ?
You should see the traits. I'd level that KDF up to 65 to get cross faction flying unlocked to see if that fixes it.
Wish the 13th had Mirror Warship instead of Crossfield but I still bought it.

What about 14th bundle? It also has some good things for alts as Gamma Vanguard pack, 2 traits are good for alts.
I was suprised that the 14th didn't make it at all, given the Ahwahnee and the Atlantis and Chekov not being that bad either. Also I wonder how the 31st Century Temporal Ship Bundle would rate, these are still all pretty decent ships, if a bit niche, you'd get a raider, a science vessel with hangar bary and a dreadnought for 3900 Zen...
I debated on it and opted to leave the 10th on instead. I've enjoyed the 14th bundle ships, but for most people they can most of the value from it grabbing just the Ahwahnee and Atlantis with the coupons most of these other bundles have.
And yeah, 31st bundle is nice. I would be more positive about it if the consoles were unlocked.
Something i don't understand: Jem Hadar ships. I had my Zen ready, contemplating purchasing one, and it said I didn't "meet the requirements". I.e. I'm a fed captain that can fly KDF ships (lifetime sub with a level 65 off character and level 65 Jem Hadar. What requirements am I not meeting? I know I an claim/fly the 1000 day Jem Hadar ship. Are all other Jem Hadar ships race locked?
Some of the original Jem'Hadar ships required you to level them up on a Jem'Hadar character first in order to unlock them for other factions.
Ive always come back to the Avenger. Its just got that sense of tanky robustness you dont tend to see on a federation battlecruiser. Now I have the Legendary that performs just...so well. Bortas is that nice torp platform but i just cant get into flying it due to being too damned ugly.

@@thomasjoychild4962 The drop in shields balances with the increase in hull and vice versa. The DPS between them is identical and not worth it if you already own the promo. The bundle might be worth it if you wanna Torp build the Bortas. But there is no meta Torp ship outside of the Terran Eagle.

Maybe they want to sync it with the new Dyson ships and they're late on delivering - honestly those new Dyson ships look beautiful especially Romulan
Cryptic? No. They're on their way out with their severance payments in their pockets. DECA games? probably. But they first need to get a grip of the game and fix it up to a point where further monetary investments by the players are justifiable.
I REALLY want to play my legendary D'Deredex, but the Dhalkina is sooooo good.
The D'deridex is a bit hampered by its lack of a hangar bay. Quite frankly, a big bird like her should have two! With those, it'd make a pretty good support tank despite its MW/Temporal seating. Without, it's merely an okay tank. Legendary D'deridex flight deck dreadnought cruiser when?
I've found I use the traits and consoles from the Legendary Romulan one more than anything else. I've thought about the Dominion one, but I can't justify spending that much money just for the Surgical Strikes extender trait. I was well pleased with the 12th anniversary bundle. And the Legendary Battlecruiser bundle is just the absolute best bundle I've bought in a long time.
How is the 11th anniversary ranked higher than the 10?
Because it holds more value from a performance perspective than the 10th and the fact that you can get most of the traits and consoles that are good that come with the 10th, in the rest of these bundles.
@@99Cheops99 there's like one good ship in the 11th. Very conservatively there are at least 3-5 in the 10th. I have both, I still feel like the 11th was a mistake.
@@peterhans3791 The only thing in the 10th that I find useful is Preferential for people like BO and maybe OPOG but that's been outclassed. The ships themselves have been power/performance crept by virtually every other bundle. They're still capable but if I was after performance I'd rather have the 11th.
@@99Cheops99 ships worth flying out of the 11th are basically the MW excelsior and the Intel ambassador. Ambassador is outclassed by legendary konnie, and the excelsior isn't much different from the sovereign (which has battle cloak from its consoles) and even is competed with by the legendary MW connie. Then you still have ships like the NX-01 that is a great BO platform, the Donnie that is a great FDC, or the crossfield which is an great space magic platform. Plus the traits you mentioned
I bought the 11th because I was feeling depressed and wanted a good T6 excelsior. I still regret the purchase.

The 14th has 2 ships that have wide appeal and the rest are a bit more niche. For some folks I think it would rank a bit higher, but I didn't think it does enough to be top 10 for the playerbase at large.
The only notable things of value in that bundle are the Ahwanee and Atlantis really. And both can be bought separately for a lot less Zen. Or gotten for free with the event campaign reward. Really no reason to buy the entire bundle.

they just that good and that easy to get, they even cheaper then spire fleet consoles lol

Sorry to hear that. You could still grind Dilithim and convert it into ZEN, though. STO is pretty free to play friendly in this regard.
I own all the large bundles and never bought any ZEN with real money.
If you use admiralty for example, it's enough to log in once or twice a day shortly. You don't even have to be online or actively play the game.

Really? Ranking the 11th over the 10th??? The Legendary Kelvin Intel Connie ALONE is far superior to anything in the 11th bundle. Not to mention Account wide Over powered and over gunned, and preferential targeting.. and some other useful starship traits. Might want to reconsider that.
