In my opinion, Rintrah is his best counter, I've done several fights against Rintrah's snake, and I always come out with 95% or 100% health, in BG Rintrah takes him down in 65 to 70 seconds, just corner him against the wall the fight ends, Rintrah becomes unstoppable, cancels everything and destroys him in special 2

Kushula works well
I used to ban him until I figured him out. I always bait his SP1 which is easy to dex. I think it's pretty much straight forward from there.

Doom is actually a very good counter too ... Most of the time he don't let him use any specials ... A bit long but super easy fight

She doesn't exactly counter his power gain so if you mess up he can go to sp3 quickly and rails you
I’d suggest trying other options… she is great for maestro but not so much for Serpent… America is a great option… and Adam Warlock….

Symbiont supreme looks terrible really low hitting damage and it took way too long I like to use werewolf or venom
Sym Sup isn't the quickest in matchups that don't have many buffs, but he isn't terrible. Speed doesn't matter much outside of Battlegrounds
