    I've had 5 interviews over the prior 3 days for supply chain management, with companies from 25 to 50 million in annual revenue. Still amazed how many are still struggling with implementing a robust erp systems for end to end processes. One team runs everything in parallel on spreadsheets because they " don't trust the system "

      That's our company. Literally go line by line in 3 hour long meetings to update ETA for each parts. We have over 8k parts. Hilarious.

      fascinating ... i'm just coming into supply chains from a sustainability/ecology perspective and how vibrant and essential the industry has become, and the digital specialization and dashboards essential now for forming strong partnerships and real-time info and flexibility/options

    Hey Eric,
    Nice presentation.
    I have a quick question. What can be done when customers/suppliers aren't willing to give visibility on their operations and capacity? They just keep everything on the need to know basis and this is affecting how I respond to impromptu orders from customers and bottlenecks/price changes from suppliers.

    So in summary, go back to the basics. Supply chains got complacent over the years and got hit hard with a crisis with no real contingencies.
