I really like the way you craft and make art. My problem with coffee and tea is that I don’t have heart to use them enough because I like to drink them 😂 This autumn I took willow branches and grass because I thought I could get green colour to dye paper because the inks are soooo expensive here. I boiled them together with baking soda and it didn’t happen, I got really nice brown instead and I learned later that willow has been used for dyeing from ancient times. So for now on I’m gonna use willow to get brown. We have plenty here. The really beautiful green paper I got from nettles ❤ It is important not to boil the nettles just let them simmer. (And we have nettles everywhere too) I’m in love with my green dyed papers if that is possible… My family is praying for you constantly 🙏 🇮🇱❤🇫🇮 Sending love to Israel
I love old papers and ephemera and your version is beautiful. So pretty, this video gives me some great ideas for my greeting card gift sets. Thanks. I really don't think your art would be half as cool if you had the "real" products ( whatever that means ). You finding solutions to not having some of the products makes your art very authentic. Which I think you are very pleased with. I love it. -Marsha from Texas
I always enjoy all of your videos. You give clear instructions and alternatives for each demonstration, which makes it more likely for more people to try to do it. On some of the art channels the instructions use specific products which do give good results, but I'm not likely to order all those products. Then next time, they use a lot of other products. It's like a cook book that never uses the same ingredients twice.
Greetings from Canada! Thank you for your video. I never would have thought of wood stain. Amazing ideas! I too love the napkin ideas. I could create napkin ephemera forever. I am glad that I subscribed! Can't wait to see more!
This is brilliant! I would have never thought to use wood stain. I really hate tea dying paper and using ink doesn't come out the same. Stain goes a long ways and is so much easier. Thank you!
Fabulous, I have some stain downstairs I will be using it up now for sure, I love how rich they all look & those flowers are stunning. They would also make great covers for journals.
I have not been happy with my tea staining, so your idea of an actual wood stain product is very appealing to me. I like the overall look of these pages. They are ready made backgrounds that you can add to at any point as a page, as ATCs or bookmarks. Great ideas and wonderful work Noit. Peace.
So beautiful and explained so well. I made my list of "what to buy from Dollar Tree" (I'll check thrift stores too). Ty so much for sharing. I subbed with you on this video!
Good grief---I know I have several old and used cans of stain in the garage...smh...thank you for the tip on using them this way, can't wait to try!! Great video, Ms. Noit, thanks for the inspiration!
thank you for the tip on the smell of the coffee! I can't stand the smell of coffee and that would have ruined my fun stuff! I LOVE the great idea of the wood stain! I have choices to subscribe, and YOU are one of TWO! Thank you! I'm just learning, you are a very good teacher and have good ideas!
I have lots of left over stains now I know what to do with them!!! The coloring pages treated like this are amazing another great idea! I am so excited I put this on Pinterest so others will be, too.
I LOVE YOUR DIFFERENT WAYS OF DOING EPHEMRA . I UNDERSTAND YOU JUST FINE. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE DIFFERENT WORDS. US CRAFTERS UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER THANK YOU.
Love this have tried coffee staining book pages to and don't like the smell and it went mouldy one time so this is a great cheep idea x love your pages x
Linda, did you have trouble with mold on the actual dried pages? I had a batch of coffee that molded before I could use it all, but never on the pages. That would be useful to know.
@@FairyWebmother that happened to me, too - coffee molded before I could use it all. Disgusting! I am now convinced that the wood stain is the way to go. Thanks to Noit. Oh, I've also burned the edges of some of my papers, but just make sure if you do that to do it over the sink! :-)
I understand about the tea stain and it can be time consuming to be discouraged about the dull beige. And then some ironing as well. Thank you for the helpful video. Danuta
I love your art I can't get enough sometimes i just keep watching over and over again. This is so cool how you can stain something and make it look old it is amazing to me. How do you pronounce your name?
I just watched this sweet video...so adorable. I thought you would enjoy knowing I have created 4 cardboard t.p. pockets. I am going to brush the stain on and see if I am able to brush on some paper napkins - (after lunch) Thank you dear Noit - Margalit

It is a option to colour paper with onion peel = yellow. Or för example beets =red .
