Praying for a quick recovery. I love to visit Jamaica, have been there seven times. Saw some pictures of the homes in the hills that were destroyed. My heart goes out to those that lost so much.
Finally got word from my mother in St. Elizabeth that she and my father and family are safe. The house was mercifully, okay as well. But, the destruction in St. Bess is terrible. They were just about to come up to the US to visit the kids and grandchildren, but it doesn't look like that will happen. It's going to be a long while before they get power back. I'm terrified because it's barely the beginning of hurricane season and it's predicted to be a very active one.
My mind run on you with the hurricane. Glad u safe.

My family just returned to the uk from Montego Bay this morning. They were there through hurricane beryl. St Vincent and negril were hit hard Kingston too
