i never knew how sensitive my skin was until i used the different tapes for my ng tube. i love duo derm it’s my favorite and i can’t use the alcohol swabs or anything because that bothers my skin to much
In case you do want to improve your makeup skills, start dabbing your foundation on instead of swiping it. Then you'll look like one of those youtube beauty gurus
You've read probably a lot that you are sooo pretty but hunestly you are. You are beautiful in and out side and because you are living your life with stripes but you don't have an negative atidude that you are special and want to be treated like a special young lady. If you know what I mean. Not that you are not special because you are but every one is special in their own way. I mean it more like self pitty. Because if some one is in self pitty most of the time that person comes in a downward spiral. If people are in that spiral they don't see the beauty of life!!! And their is beauty even when you are sick. You just have to look at the smaller things in life. And take each day as that day is. BTW I'am a new subbie and I love your videos.
Where can we get the gauze tegaderm? I can't seem to find it anywhere. My 10yr old daughter just had her feeding tube placed last week and picture day is coming up! She would love to decorate a heart or something for her picture! Thank you!

Its Cargo HD picture perfect foundation. I'm not sure which shade but I believe its the lightest one? I have the same problem, it always makes it look like I'm wearing so much makeup I look orange but I'm like NO its just the color! :)
I'm not sure bc I've never had my stomach pumped. It basically feels like swallowing. I had to be awake during the procedure so I could swallow when they told me to. I didn't feel it after it passed my throat. Everyone is different though.

I have a feeding tube in for six weeks (due to Crohn’s) I’m now having to have two more weeks, I also have ezma and psoriasis so the skin underneath my dressing is completely raw and red. Do you have any ideas on how I can help the skin underneath whilst I have the tube?
Good question! An NG (NasoGastric tube) is not the same as an NJ (NasoJejunal tube). The difference is where the tube ends and feeds you. So with an NG tube the tube ends in your stomach and thats where the formula is fed into. An NJ however ends in a part of your small intestine called the jejunum. Hence Naso-Jejunal tube 😉. This tube is typically used for people who can't tolerate food or formula into their stomach for one reason or another. NJs bypass the stomach meaning no formula gets in the stomach, only the intestines. I hope this was helpful but I'm always happy to answer any further questions! -Mickey

Are there different color tubes or just yellow? Cause if it was me,yellow looks soo bad on me and my skin. You're rocking it tho!
For NJ tubes in the u.s it's typically yellow. NG tubes however are different and typically just clear.
If you don't mind me asking why didn't you get your NJ tube bridaled? Also when your pump was making noise I thought it was my pump lol
