Absolutely. I was once in a match with a demo on Upward that just completely locked up the left flank on last (you know, where the big health pack is) with this dumb thing. took half of the team like 4 min just to establish a footing in there.
I lay traps in doorways and around corners and when pipes fail book it into the failsafe zones I set up. That and carpet bombing absolutely every square inch around the cart.
Scottish Resistance is good actually, a man called Fish stick on a stick made a very well informed video about how good it is at making you the worlds slowest one man army.
If you're more keen on setting traps, then definitely the Scottish resistance is your go to. If you want quick (heh) sticky spam, then Quicky bomb is your weapon to live by.

And that was already way past the era where it had that 120% damage bonus against players. For the loose cannon it could also be "you queue for no other map than pl_Upward".
My demo loadout is literally just a base jumper. Sticky jumper. And strange bottle. Demo DOES have a market gardener I'm not going anywhere near a sentry

Voila, 17 refined strange iron bomber. This works with any warpaintable item as well

I use the Moose cannon and Scottish resistance every time in Twofort... the scottish resistance is really good at defending that downstairs hallway and the loose cannon is really good at killing all the people who like to hide in the corners behind the 2 entrances... sometimes I take a few random shots at them to ricochet into them and kill a random spy
People saying the Scottish Resistance is bad are using it wrong. It's THE go to for defense. Want to make the enemy think the cart is being ignored? Hide stickies in front of it; want to stop people dead in their tracks from going to a particular place? Make a sticky bomb bed. You can even block a whole area while trapping another with it since you manually choose which ones to detonate. I've saved games time and time again because people often think I just forgot about the stickies and go for the objective without destroying them
Scottish resistance works, but you have to think outside the box. Don't set up sneaky traps, put your stickies on the ground out in the open and a scout WILL walk right on top of them

I use stock, I swear by stock. Rollers are just misunderstood. They deny area for longer than the bomber and you can be smart with bounce to get splash damage around corners. Only people who can’t land pipes have to resort to the bomber.

Base jumper(or boots or have loose cannon jump skill)
Shield for trimping
Bottle or ullapool caber
