Nice video man, keep it up. Always happy to see botters set back. I often bank-skill at Ferox and I right-click Look-up/Predict constantly (for anyone who doesn't know by now, there's a bot predictor plug-in on Runelite that you can help submit Reports on bots) and I report all the bots I see. It amazes me how many Vulrah, Vorkath (+ Rune Drag), Runecrafting, etc bots I see with 10k+ kills and 110+ stats in the skills they use. I swear I see half a dozen various bots per minute... I'm an Iron Man, so the economy being influenced by bots makes little difference to me, but it makes me sad to see normal player's experience being screwed over by a handful of selfish botters.
bots are pretty obvious and that bot plugin sucks lmao all skillers and alts are considered bots its a plugin for schizo npcs

bots have been going crazy i was bankstanding on lunar island and there was a constant stream of vork bots w/ like up to 50k kc i was amazed
i remember years ago botting seemed to get out of control and it seemed like jagex was slipping, then they nuked like thousands of accounts at the same time and the worlds felt so empty after that lol. the active player numbers were like cut in half almost

3:30 is exactly why most of the players dont do wilderness content especially content in multizones, not fun to get a kill worth a mil then have 2+ people log in on you. And you can't fix it because any solution's downsides outweigh the positives

I was doing this before you uploaded. The bots logout / Hop worlds before I can even load up the game, when trying to log into the world on the pk account. you make it look easy. lmao
I went there on my new ironman recently and all these bots had 104 mage +.

Saw a GIM bot at abyssal demons in kourend today. It was wild, it started crashing another guy and I. I attacked all the demons and turned off auto-retaliate. I sat there for nearly two hours ans banked once. The whole time the bot stood there with its prayer up, just waiting until a demon spawned that hadnt taken damage. When one woukd spawn, it was able to attack it instantly. It knew exactly where the spawn was. It would stop attacking only once I did damage.
The fact that the bots can instantly log out is the main problem - they risk nothing unless you have an advanced setup involving alts, positioning, etc. It may be difficult to balance but I think the logout system (especially in the wildy) might need to be reworked.
The botting on f2p worlds is so absurd in mining. My bud was trying to level before moving to member but couldn't get past obvious bots with 80+ mining at varrock

When you do zulrah, you should look at the vorkath bots and astral rc bots both going to the lunar isle bank
Right. I try to report all the obvious 10k plus vorkath kill bots because I need vorkath for money. They are killing superior bones worth. 10k to 7k hurts. I do rev caves and pk a revenant demon bot farm all the time but it doesn’t make a dent.

Most of them are gold farmers, not bots.
They are from countries like Venezuela where making 0,5$ an hour via selling gp is actually worth more than a salary from a regular job.
So they just kill vorkath 9 to 5 every single day.
So yeah technically they break the rules by selling the gold but they mule it to other accounts and do shit to cover their tracks, so they won't get caught.

I love your videos but I am discouraged from playing OSRS because of the bot problem. Jagex really doesnt care to do anything about the bot problem!
It's a great reason but please be fair. They are trying their best to fix it. It's their money after all, so of course they care. Ironman is the way to go for Osrs I highly recommend. If you have no faith in the integrity of the economy.
When I watch real players getting banned or perma-muted while all these bots farms and scammers continue to operate without punishment. It is hard to see Jagex as trying. It shows more corruption than anything with Jagex. I believe at this point that the bot farms and scammers have paid off Jagex to not punish them.@@Revcube

The lava dragon bot script is making the clan about 240, million an hour roughly - I’ll give you a hint it’s one of the larger clans in the game that does a ton of drop parties, it’s a few guys running the bot farm they have a discord

All i do is bring maple shortbow and some iron arrows they dont even run and the runners i snare when they next to dragon so it make job for me lol i got 15m loot off around 400 bots so far lol (200 keys)

The reason they aren't being banned is because of the sale of Runescape coming up here soon. You can't deflate the player count and then boast about the lack of numbers as a sales team.

When I didn't know how to do pk in the rev cave, my money maker was in that place, level 50 account farming money on the bots, I miss this place... The only thing you need to kill the bots there are rune crossbow and ava.

Love the videos, but wanted to comment on the botting problem, if you think it’s bad now look back at pre-eoc like 2011-2012ish. Literally nobody got punished for botting and any activity in the game that was even remotely afk was absolutely swarmed on every single world. Might be hard to find video evidence at this point but there was an rs community on CZcams back then so it must be documented
