OMG same here!! lol I'm 49, single w/ 3 young adult kids... I swear I'm living vicariously through their beautiful but bittersweet love story. Until 2 1/2 weeks ago, I didn't know who Harry Styles was. I'd heard his name but couldn't have picked him out of a lineup. I had obviously heard of 1D but didn't know who the members were or what they sang. None of my kids listened to them back in the day. But after seeing Harry in a trailer for DWD I went on a bit of a HS deep dive, all the way back to X Factor (well, a little before even). I've spent more hours in the LarryVerse now than in anything else (including work at times, if I'm being honest). I've learned how to use Twitter for Pete's sake, so I could fact check the old tweets for myself. I really went into it w/ the intention of disproving it, but came out fully stanning for Larry and heartbroken for the closeting they've been forced into. lol My kids are worried about me. ;) The obsession will lessen soon I'm sure... right?

I'm 2 years into the Larry-verse and it doesn't really go away.

Found out about them from Bigger than me Louis video and loved it, then the next suggestion was as it was by Harry then from there I saw a lot of Larry stylinson comments and it led me to some short videos until landing here where I am now a larry for a couple of months and I've listened and watched interviews from their 1D days to date and I'm so proud and supportive of Louis, his album and music speaks to my soul. Had no idea about ID and all of it all these years. Its been a rabbit hole of information and I live for it and I hope Larry is real and if its not, it's still the best love story ever.

I really think Louis helped Harry be himself. Louis was the one that made Harry get his nails painted and he still paints his nails today and is more comfortable wearing what he wants.
Yes, it’s almost as if Louis knew Harry better than Harry himself did. The strength, joy, comfort and security of Louis’ love led to Harry growing in confidence and expressiveness. It supported and freed him to let fly his huge talent and realize his potential both as an artist and as a person. In turn, Harry’s love steadied, ripened and matured (though not necessarily tamed) Louis. They were and are so very good for each other.

We have decided to stream the song on July 22nd, the day before the 11 year anniversary to get the song to charts. Maybe we have to start streaming a little bit beforehand, but still. We need to stream the song on every possible platform; CZcams, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon music, etc. If this is the same group of people who sold FNB stadium within a minute, then why couldn't we be able to do this?
2) This was planned a year ago, but this time we could easily do this. The second project is to stream drag me down, which as we can see is so close to 1 billion views, but, story of my life isn't, so we will stream story of my life on July 18th (The last Sunday before the anniversary) and make the masterpiece number 1 on that day. I think none of the above are difficult tasks, but that's only if we spread the words. So kindly spread the words.

I know that this is not the main point of the video, but something that really stands out to me is how absolutely insane some of the interview questions/topics were. This is something that has always bothered me as a Directioner/Larry, and I am grateful that, on some level, these types of questions wouldn't fly in interviews today. But still, I mean, I am shocked at some of the questions these poor boys (cause, lets be frank, that's what they were at the time--young boys) were asked! The way that the (Western) entertainment industry feels the need to sexualize absolutely everything about young stars is so gross. 1D couldn't go through a single interview, it seemed, without someone asking them who they had a crush on, which girls they thought were hot, etc. Half the time, they weren't even asked about their music. The whole Harry/Caroline era was whack for this reason as well because like??? He was UNDERAGED and she was definitely not, and they were grilling him about whether he found her "hot", and kept asking him if he had kissed her, despite him clearly not being comfortable with the conversation. Not to mention all of these questions were framed as if heterosexuality is the assumed default/norm (not assigning any sexualities onto the boys in saying this, btw, just making a point). Ugh. So glad that these types of questions aren't as prevalent in these days. ANYWAY, rant over. Time to go back to using Larry Stylinson vids to procrastinate my homework (10 years strong in this behavior, lol!).
A specific instance of this that just makes my blood absolutely BOIL is at 1:07:18 when the interviewer asks them if the 80-person Christmas party at H&L's house was the 5 of them and then "75 girls". Like??? They couldn't even talk about what they did over Christmas without it getting turned/spun into something sexual! It is just so bizarre and creepy and gross, and all 5 of the boys--Larry in particular--deserved so much better.
