Overall, this has been a really good arc. If I had one complaint, it would be this: Kawaki still has the scientific ninja tools in his body, and in this episode, he has no reason _not_ to use them as he's confronting the assassin, so why doesn't he use them?

That's why Kawaki try to end this shinobi world. Have you noticed it ? He could have investigate more about the assassin if Naruto gave him further protection order to Kae. Instead they cancelled it and treat him like a outsiders. So for my point of view , this kind of situations could be more in the future. So kawaki could be the saviour to end this hatred.

The disappointing part is that this episode is a standalone episode. It doesn't connect well with the last episode. Suddenly, all of them were on the island without official approval/investigate from Konoha. It's confusing and questionable that none of the seniors/teachers accompanied Hana Sensei to this so-called mysterious rogue island.

If anyone believes (or wants to) that Kae was killed, start writing your fanfics because that won't happen in the anime. If it was just Kawaki around maybe, but the writers would want to keep some of Hima's innocence around.

It’s be really cool if the inner Hana put a genjutsu on herself in order to trick her evil self, Kawaki, and Himawari. Although they all saw Kae get stabbed in the head, we can clearly see that she’s not bleeding at all. Maybe that’s what the birds representing since that’s a symbol of Itachi’s genjutsu! And the birds are white which might represent Hana’s completely pure desire to protect her students!

The sense of entertainment and emotion you feel during this episode just shows how much better Boruto has become compared to what it was when it started. Loved this episode, it not only shows us how Kawaki and Himawari were affected by the betrayal but also how skilled Hana the assassin really is.

I hope so too, but some people saying as her death could lead to Kawaki's attitude in the chapter 58 bothers me a bit. So as much as i want it to be "somehow" happy ending, i think the other way around is also good.

I don’t think Kae died bc the kunai didn’t have any blood on it and normally it does. Like when she went to assassinate Kai for the first time she held back and cut herself instead. And there was a ton of blood.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move so Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.
3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*
They're pinned down with Chakra rods yet naruto was still able to hand him a super massive rasengan? Boruto didn't make it. That's why he said 'how long did it take to get this big?' he only added his nature to it making it dissappear for a bit. His jougan also kicked in which is supposed to be the strongest dojutsu

Why would they question it? The assassin died, the minister and his henchmen got arrested. The case is literally solved. Nobody expects anything anymore. Especially not a teacher. Who is also in konoha for like 10 years

The previous episode had everyone discussing that the teacher arranged for a field trip, and this episode shows that field trip.

The Hokage could have seen some history of Hana's suspicious behavior before they put her as a teacher. Ino could have searched her mind and seen the second personality and Hana wouldn't have become a teacher.
You are forgetting that this is a filler and the teacher doesn't exist in the story, so you don't have to think about it

One of the good speculations on this is is that they wanted to make sure that the episode didn't go over the time limit or it was just errors but we just have to wait till next episode to fully confirm if she's dead
