"Many battles are losable, losing isn't unusual.
Life is brutal, but beautiful, birth allude to a funeral."
Almost a decade later is still one of the greatest lines I've ever heard.
I love the contrast of Ali's alternative style, R.A.'s underground delivery, and Ace's old-school flow.
dangerous combo!
they should do an album!
bill fill
*That's
*you're
bill fill You need to capitalize the "M" in "my," and the "Y" in "you're."
I think you also have an extra space in between your sentences.
Eyan Martin-snyder well that was easy
one of the nominees for most underated song in history
Masta Ace Verse 💫
Heard that man!
all verses but Masta Ace deserved the ender, in my top 3 favorite verses
man i'm finding a song like this every couple of weeks where i'm like "how the fuck...did i not know this existed?..."
like, i'm doing that with this song right now
Yeah people sleep on this song
Masta Ace just brought back that old school smooth as shit. I feel completely complete right now.
Masta Ace is so underrated. He's one of the greatest honestly.
in my top 5
Sorry I know this is 8 yrs old now but seeing this just reminds me how I never understood why he doesn’t get more props. Disposable Arts was so damn good and one of the first two albums I actually owned (other being 2pac’s All Eyez on Me) and was a big part of my pre/early teens.
+1
so dangerous, the ads are even scared to go before the song
Damn so dangerous
adblocker... lol
geil
So dangerous that theres a tik tok ad...
scared ] capitalism away. shoo shoo little bird and fly away.
many battles are losable, losing isn't unusual, life is brutal but beautiful, birth alludes to a funeral
that was the illest shit of the whole track
Damn this was 4 years ago I wanna like this but don’t wanna ruin the 69 likes. So I’ll like this. But really I’m liking the one above.
Don’t do drums kids
Drugs, do do drugs
@@shelby1929 i'll take what you're having
life is brutal, but beautiful.
+Ron nigga i see you on $ui shiiii now dis fr fr fammm
+Ron bruh you're everywhere
+Ron Truth bruh
That's the line I took from this song
d a n g e r o u s
I freaking love when brother ali gets ignorant for a minute
Love Dark Side Ali
100%
I can't lie Masta Ace's verse goes so hard in this.
Well Masta ace had the best verse all round no doubt but fuck me if RA didn't have the best line with the biggest impact
People like this really deserve more respect, they're all so talented and they don't get the recognition they deserve while Nicki Minaj is a thing.
+Need4Sleep I cri everytiem
To be fair, Nicki Minaj could probably slay this type of song if someone made it financially worth her time.
"People don't all like the same thing I do so I'm going to cry about it on the internet" - you
@the technicstechnishion what a dumb thing to say
@@salazam you too. What a couple of losers you 2 must be in real life to act the way you do. Shameful
When R.A said life is brutal but beautiful" I got the chills!
Respect to Brother Ali too
"Birth alludes to a funeral"
Ali came with the aggression and energy, RA was sick with the multis and wordplay but Ace's verse just stood out to me. After all these years the guys is just a damn Legend. The way he strung together every word in that verse has such dope cadence and mic presence he didn't need to rap it fast or use a complex rhyme scheme hit it out of the park. It was just flat out dope but purely fundamental.
he's deadly like three in chest! :)
taumagalahi Well said my dude.
I agree, all three verses were epic but Ace's stands out.
taumagalahi masta ace is indeed a legend
simon hotte Ace cool as hell too, he came to milwaukee on tour & kicked it with students at True Skool with emc.
Ace's verse is soooo smooth
RA's was the best flow and lyrics to me
NEVADAWOLFPACK99 Daggerfall40 over all the whole song is one and together, without any one verse it would be broken i think.
NINE12 Plays Why fancy meeting you here
He's the only real rapper on here
Salazam, pretty sure ace himself would disagree. You're probably uneducated on the other two. All three are phenomenal rappers.
Many battles are losable, losing isn't unusual. Life is brutal but beautiful, birth allude to a funeral.
Those bars just get me every time. Just a super profound message dropped in there.
RA is criminally underrated
this is why I love hip hop. it aint black it aint white, real hiphop is just realism at its finest!
Fr though haha right here we got a white, a black, and an albino 😂😂 the dangerously diverse 3
@@dylanevans565 who is albino
@@hestitate4902 Brother Ali is. He even says it in one of his songs.
@@hestitate4902 lol Big white beard guy with translucent skin.
Who is albino?
#TRUTH
Brother ali is underrated
All these guys are
All these guys are
bob jones Pretty much all fans of hip-hop know of Ace straight up and give him mad props, RA and Ali are well known and rated fairly among real Hip-Hop heads
Neil-THOTSLAYER-Pups So true young!
Only to those that don't take the time to learn what he's about
8 years later and it’s still a fire track
Can we just acknowledge how dope this Mr Green beat is and how perfectly they all handle it, Ace's cadence is so effortlessly nasty. I'll never get over this song it hits so hard no matter how many times i listen to it.
"I'm the Don: Corleone, Cornelius, Trump, King" R.A.'s verse is so good I actually had trouble breathing listening to it the first time listening because I was trying to figure out what he was saying. Your boy really is dangerous.
That ain't what he says
This song is truly a masterpiece beautiful verses all around.
ArKane Truth - yeah all 3 smash it.
I remember exactly where I was when I heard this song. A girl turned me onto it, had never even heard of RA and wasn't much into Hip-Hip. Since then it's been a non-stop dive into Hip-Hop and I still haven't heard a song that reaches me like this one does. For me this is the essence of the medium, three amazing MCs, each with their own style, just killing it in their own way. RA changed my musical life, I hope he never stops.
Im 50 and it's just absolutely fantastic 👊👊👊👌😱😱😱
I feel bad for the people who listen to mainstream
I agree they don't know what they're missing
There is some decent mainstream shit but compared to this it sucks
+Ben Coute this is Underground the only thing mainstream is the biggie smalls sample they used for the chorus
+Ben Coute this is Underground the only thing mainstream is the biggie smalls sample they used for the chorus
+Ripper The Rapper Exactly.. and the Biggie sample was from "Cunt Renaissance" which was RA's song anyway.
Masta Ace bodied this track so smooth, it only elevates his already legendary status! Act like you get it
This is true hip hop! R.A, Masta Ace and Brother Ali real beat, real lyrics, real ish! wake up America and learn real music!!
Three of the greatest lyricists to ever do it.
2021,still a BOOMtrack.
No disrespect to R.A. (Who still happens to be one of my all-time favorite MC's and kills it on this track,as usual) or the great Ace, but Brother Ali just seems to keep getting better every time he puts out new material. Hopefully he'll be getting his way overdue props here soon, he just continues to amaze me as his talent evolves
Exactly brother, Brother Ali keeps on growing.
I disagree, Ali has always been holding it down on the mic. One of my fav rappers since his first cd.
True true, at first he was aggressive but dope on the mic, but he has a different style now, maturing in a way,
word up man couldnt of said it better myself!!
Agreed Ali killed this track.
I shook hands with Ali. Won't ever forget that moment
"2020 aNyOnE ?"
All day
Paolo Pirrotta forever 💯
Of course!
2021 too 🔊🔊👌🏽
2021 yall!
This never gets old.
the instrumental is awesome
This track is perfect. Masta Ace's flow is so smooth
Brother Ali is dope af
I mean he did okay on this verse not that bad but definitly worse verse on the song but a way to describe ali is definitly not "great"
yea but RA though
masta's ace verse was so smooth and good 😍
+Troxio so smooth it's suave
Just saw him in Edmonton a few weeks ago with Dem Atlas and Atmosphere. Best show of my life
Masta Ace is back!? Damn, I'm about to go put the woofers in my Jeep.
I have a feeling you were born to roll.
Hes been putting albums out consistently since like 01....hasnt really left.
yeah, I'm a Jeep ass Ninja
Were Masta's line a reference to Greg nice's in DWYCK?
froochie123 Born to roll
"many battles are losable, losing isn't unusual
Life is brutal, beautiful"
Not what he says
@@capealio yes it is

Last of the classics 🤘😎🤘
RA and Ace Living legends
masta ace makes this song for me. Thx ace for all the years of great music.
He always does:) my favorite MC of all time actually
He's the only real rapper on here.
Hopefully these 3 make an album together.
These 4 ;) you forgot mr green
In my opinion this song is one of the best and coolest rap songs ever. The essence and style it captures is timeless. This is what rap should be more of. If I only had a few songs to show someone why rap music is good this would be at the top of the list💪👍🤌👏✌
this is one of those classics that you can listen to forever
Never tire of hearing this!
Isso.
everyone killed it, even the dude on the the 1s and 2s
The beat drop in Ali's verse hit hard as fuck. His flow switched just as instantly as the beat did.
The rugged man IS on fire
God bless all these mc's
Big UP for Masta ace
Remember the sittin on chrome album 💪💪💪
God bless
Masta Ace owned this shit, his flow is old school mix with urban Mother of classic !!
R.A. the Rugged Man, Brother Ali, and Masta Ace were all interviewed for the book named *HOW TO RAP* and its sequel, *HOW TO RAP 2*.
This is a quote from R.A. inside the books:
''I like doing that a lot too, writing to beats. When you’re trying
to do like an ill flow, you’re taking the bassline and the
drum and the kick and riding that beat like you never could
do just writing in your notebook. For flows, it’s me sitting in
my room with the radio, bumping beats all day, boom boom,
all week, all month, all year."
I feel they missed a perfect chance to call the sequel 'How 2 Rap'
Flow is RA's weak point.

For real one of the best Hip Hop tracks every a complete masterpiece.
Masta Ace should be in everbodies top 10. 80‘s, 90‘s, 00‘s, 10‘s, 20‘s he holding it down for hip hop since 5 decades. I repeat that SINCE 5 DECADES
"dropped slaughterhouse before they was even a group"
such a dope line.
Three undergroung legends..., in one track..., on a hard hitting beat..., still in 2023🔥🔥🔥
Which one killed it? All of them
Mr. Green is such a great beatmaker and producer. I would suggest to everyone to watch his series Live from the Streets.
yee it was goood
this has the three showcasing their elite talent and original skill all in one dangerously good song that will never get old
Real Hip Hop.
Fucking yeah!

HELL YEAH!!!!!!
all dope verses but Ali killed it...solid rhyme scheme and content for the win.
Murderapolis Slim approves!
this is the best hip hop song ive heard since the 90's.
this is SO cool.
I mean Ali's and Masta Ace's verses were pretty dope but RA nailed this one.
I'm listening rap for a few years now and it took me so long to find RA.. Found him a few weeks ago and can't stop listening to him.
He's a genius and I'd say one of the best rappers alive.
literally just found out about R.A. 😍
If you just found out about RA
Check out his verse from Uncommon Valor and check out Vinnie Paz who is another crazy rapper that collaborated with RA a lot
+Mike DeSimone your a legend. thanks brother
Tyson Wintzloff No problem man! If the mainstream won't give us a chance to listen to real MC's like Ra or Vinnie Paz, then I will!
Enjoy listening to them!
+Mike DeSimone defiantly ahahaha

Not only does every artist murder the verse.. but the visual fxs in the video tottslly matches!!
"When this mics in my hand I'm and cannibal man, eat my own kind damn, I'm a animal fam, and if you a grown man than stand if you can, on your own two feet wit'a tangible plan."
this track is audible Viagra it goes so hard

01hondascott LMAO good one
Loool im wet 😂😂😂😂or lady boner?
clitty stiffy
Brother Ali is so goddamn special. RA too. RA The Rugged Man might be the most gifted rapper ever. He's the true Allen Iverson of the rap game.
tune never gets old
Da Mr. Green on the beat
Great decision for RA to call up slug and ask about a collab w/ ali
very very true
Trey cook that's ill beyond words but I feel like their styles are going to clash so much xD I think atmos finished their album and sluggo was trying to get a collab done w/ alchemist. Truly going to be a great year for RSE
RA you deserve a Nobel for dis
Ali killed it.
The dangerous type.
brother ali and masta ace are the rappers with the best personalities.they rarely swear, they arent violent and theyre still keepin it real
Eeeeeh not too sure bout Ali. He swore a decent amount of times here.
What the hell are you talking about? Ali acts like a gangster in his music. Constantly swears, is disrespectful to both women and gay people. Then he tries to act all religious. I've also met him. He acts like a thug when you talk to him, all hardcore and shit. The dude is one of the most hypocritical people on earth. Oh yeah, real religious man.
what did he say when u met him and made you dislike him?
+The Truth disrespectful to women and gays? You're an idiot he supports and gay and women's rights listen to songs like tightrope or dorian! Stop spreading false information the guy is so positive
You don't know what "keeping it real" means, do you? I agree with +The Truth, Brother Ali is a big fat hypocrite.
this song is better than i thought
This jam never gets old
Hot damn, that beat, those lyrics, it's dope af
This is real hip hop
Real hip hop with real hip hop legends 💯
So glad to see gool ole hip hop is alive. Lyricist matter.
this gonna be my wedding song LMFAO!
I don't see anyone talking about Masta Ace!? He went fucking off on this track. All 3 did but damn Masta.
Brother Ali has the most prolific and powerful lyrics that are timeless poems that any human being can relate. This definitely has a lot to do with his not being mainstream.
Thanks 🙈🙉 🙊
That’s alright y’all can have these mainstream punks ill keep thumping this old school flavor over that any day
They need to form a group together or at least do a album
Martin Torres
Great idea
Love the beat change at :57 seconds
I think it kills the mood it but I still think it's a great song
pogi pro I like the contrast personally, but hey to each his own. Glad you can still enjoy it haha
+Thrashmetal6666 i used to not like it but one day after not hearing this song in months i listened to it and it just sounded so much better for some reason, lol.
Un known I almost wish they were to separate songs, but I think the contrast makes the hard part hit twice as hard.
Thrashmetal6666 I think that I would have preferred them being two different songs it's not to say it sounds bad because in all honesty god knows I've listened to this song a lot but it does just sound a bit weird
3 of the best!!! Hands down
Fell in love as soon as it started.
2019 still in the playlist
best song of the year 100% dope
Never seen a track with 3 MCs start so hot and just keep getting better.
I saw masta ace and I knew I'd love this.
1:57 even Ali seems amazed by what's going on
Man, this is beautiful. Gives me a warm feeling, the sound of the vocals and the beat, it's fire! mixes with each other.... melllooodddyy
One of favourite hip hop tracks this goes so hard
UGH! So glad R.A. got back in the game!!
There definitely needs to be a Payday 2 character pack that lets you play as one of The Dangerous Three.
To bad these guys aint in the mainstream's representation of NY rap in it's current date. WACK ASS CORPORATE MEDIA!!!
They have 3 milion views in many videos, thats enough. The mainstream wouldnt appriciate this
stefan kureljusic Of course they wouldn't! They've been conditioned with all the garbage it plays now.
***** Definitely right about Ali he reps the Twin Cities HARDBODY!!! Masta Ace reps BK and R.A. is from Stony Brook on Long Island and still reps it. He lives in the city now. All 3 MCS are dope and I'm fucking HYPED that R.A. finally did a track with Ali from Rhymesayers Ent. Now all that needs to be done is Slug, Ali, R.A., Aesop Rock and Mac Lethal on a track... That would be DOPE AS FUCK!!!!
first heard him with Tech, instant fan. RA is wickedly talented. good shit
KEEP MAKING MUSIC LIKE THIS! We need this on another level. This is MAGIC.
ace still fucking rules
Damn straight ! Best flow on the track !
