It was such a horror game back then, even I still play it now but it changed it got left a few years ago. Not many people talk about it now. Yet it was one of the most disturbing fnaf fan games.

For those who don't know the whole story (which I'm going to assume is very few of you, but I'll air on the side of caution): Dormitabis was a FNaF fangame made by Blackout1912 (AKA Nicchi) and a few other modelers and developers. It was meant to be a retelling of the original FNaF series, which included all of the games up to FNaF4. The original FNaF game follows the crimes of engineer William Afton and his descent into the madness that would cause the death of several children (including his partner, Henry Emily's, daughter) after his son and daughter were killed by his own animatronics. In Dormitabis, William is called Garvey, and decides to kill children because they bully him for his purple skin (I'm not making that up, by the way). He eventually dies in a springlock suit before coming back to life, only to die in a fire. It's sorta implied that the main character, John Write, is the brother of Garvey? Anyway, John is stuck in a purgatory after dying in the same fire, and he has to fend against these sentient animatronics trying to use him for plasma. Along the way, you can collect these tapes that feature Garvey gloating about his crimes, as a way to tell you about *the lore.* In one of these tapes, he talks about how he does the uh-ohs (the s*xual uh-ohs) with a fifteen year old girl, and he remarks on how he thought she was "pretty hot". Scott Cawthon, the original creator, has disowned any and all fangames of FNaF that share these themes with his character, William Afton. Eventually, a Google Doc would be made to chronical all of Nicchi's acts (which range from being an asshole to other developers such as Kane Carter, having disgusting sexual fantasies, and having s*xually charged conversations AND showing his bare ass to a 12-year old girl). Eventually, Nicchi would run away with his tail tucked between his legs, and things would go radio silent. The project would then be picked up by a few developers who wanted to rewrite and recreate the entire game from the ground up, removing any and all gross content that Nicchi put into it.

I like how people like the remaster just to spite the original creator, they're bad games with hacky writing and the gameplay isn't anywhere good enough. Some games have a compelling enough story that the gameplay is allowed to be a little rough, some games have enjoyable enough gameplay that a poorly conceived story can be overlooked. These have neither and are simply just not good.

For those who don't know the whole story (which I'm going to assume is very few of you, but I'll air on the side of caution):
Dormitabis was a FNaF fangame made by Blackout1912 (AKA Nicchi) and a few other modelers and developers. It was meant to be a retelling of the original FNaF series, which included all of the games up to FNaF4.
The original FNaF game follows the crimes of engineer William Afton and his descent into the madness that would cause the death of several children (including his partner, Henry Emily's, daughter) after his son and daughter were killed by his own animatronics. In Dormitabis, William is called Garvey, and decides to kill children because they bully him for his purple skin (I'm not making that up, by the way). He eventually dies in a springlock suit before coming back to life, only to die in a fire.
It's sorta implied that the main character, John Write, is the brother of Garvey? Anyway, John is stuck in a purgatory after dying in the same fire, and he has to fend against these sentient animatronics trying to use him for plasma.
Along the way, you can collect these tapes that feature Garvey gloating about his crimes, as a way to tell you about *the lore.* In one of these tapes, he talks about how he does the uh-ohs (the s*xual uh-ohs) with a fifteen year old girl, and he remarks on how he thought she was "pretty hot". Scott Cawthon, the original creator, has disowned any and all fangames of FNaF that share these themes with his character, William Afton.
Eventually, a Google Doc would be made to chronical all of Nicchi's acts (which range from being an asshole to other developers such as Kane Carter, having disgusting sexual fantasies, and having s*xually charged conversations AND showing his bare ass to a 12-year old girl). Eventually, Nicchi would run away with his tail tucked between his legs, and things would go radio silent.
The project would then be picked up by a few developers who wanted to rewrite and recreate the entire game from the ground up, removing any and all gross content that Nicchi put into it.
And you are 100% correct on this I hate dormitabis because the disgusting stuff it has and just being a terrible game but remastered version luckily got rid of all of that

Some games have a compelling enough story that the gameplay is allowed to be a little rough, some games have enjoyable enough gameplay that a poorly conceived story can be overlooked. These have neither and are simply just not good.
