Just did what you said to do worked out perfect but I have a question for you what did you use for power for the switch I damn Almost burned my car down
There’s a lot of options that could work. You just need a 12v power supply that turns the car on. Now something that would cause you to have problems like you say is if your using a switch that has a LED Light on it and you accidentally wired the ground to the accessory and 12v to the supply. That’s the only way you can really mess up that whole deal.

It’s that 4 strand trailer wire.lol it’s cheap and pretty good I think it’s like 14G or 16 I’m not sure

I’d think so. It’s a double throw switch same as a window switch

@@bg_svt I bought the same one he got from Amazon. Works good. Just make sure to use a 30 amp fuse.
