Thought you were gonna setup on top of the house when I saw you roll up north with the FOB. You can build a ladder up to the roof, hop over to the other side of the intact roof, and build 2 MGs on the flat part; better angles down the beach as it's higher, and it's also farther away so less small arms BS/tank rounds usually.
That sniper may have been me, I remember an MG placement on the exact same spot, it really pinned us down. Eventually I just shifted right to get a good look on the mg and bunker (did get a nice amount of headshots from it)
With the amount of players on the map, I think it would make more sense to halve the number of people per landing boat and double the number of boats. It's kinda awkward to look at multiple mg's and infantry firing at a single or only 2 boats approaching the shore. Takes away from the scale of the battle. If it's spread out more, it'd better capture the total war aspect
The Germans classified a machine gun on bipod as a medium machine gun and the same machine gun on a tripod with a traverse and elevation bar a heavy machine gun. Americans just used the World War I anti-tank machine gun. Ma-deuce

The MG-42 looks more like a airsoft gun. No first person vibration, smoke, or muscle flash. I hope they will fix this issue. The only thing that's realistic, is the sound.

The trigger system is remotely operated so the gunner doesn't need to pull the stock in so there's no 'first person vibration' The mount holds the MG42 securely so that that the only movement is its own recoil - which you see in the game footage as some shaking of the sight. The smoke/muzzle-flash is fairly irrelevant fr0m the operators end but I bet you can see it if you're looking at it from the victims PoV.

I definitely believe that the mg42 or mg34 should overheat often requiring them to change barrels with every 1 or 2 belts. I feel this way as I still haven't made it inland yet well i got past the bunkers but no one else did so soon as I fired I was killed. It seems to take the full team assaulting at once to have so many targets that enough will get thru to place rallies & get inland asap. It seems that if that's not achieved early on then its not going to happen. Im not planning a return trip to Utah Beach anytime soon.
Plus, if you fire in bursts, and allow time for the gun to cool down after firing, especially like when waiting for another boat, you don’t need to change the barrel as much as you would need to it you maintained a constant suppressive barrage
Yeah that position is OP af, and attackers usually don't like to go north first, which gives defenders (who knows how to make use of it) plenty of time to set it up.

I think the most overpowerd thing is that you are in a very high place. On the beach you already have limited cover but with this s*** you cant even crawl without dieing. Periscope should fix this.
Scoreboard detail : you got way more than 67 kills, since you knocked out approximately 74 others (more or less, as some KO became kills after). In my opinion, PS and Squad should count every KO so the scoreboard is more accurate: it does not matter if the player was revived after (that should not cancel the KO point or score).

You don’t need to put a fob there... just dump supplies where you want them and you can have mgs literally right before you go into the minefield. It’s really effective south and middle caps. up north not really

they should increase the player size of this game. For this map I feel the Americans are at a big disadvantage getting mowed down with just 30 to 40 guys
This game really needs swap out barrels for the MG's. Would just add that little bit more realism so people can't just sit firing wildly but at the same time not have a permanent disadvantage for getting carried away and holding your finger down.
I wish in the future there would be a game capable enough to handle a massive beach landing of like a thousand players all at the same time.
