All it takes to be possessed by the devil is to consistently submit to him, his influence, his voice.
Same thing with God. We become more and more “possessed” by the Spirit of God as we submit to Him, His will, His voice, in our life! Keep telling your story! It will help to set many others free!

On that last word, I had no idea what to do when I faced a situation with a person who was under demonic influence being ignorant of what was happening at the time. An interesting case study of either possession or obsession. I had talked to a couple of priests who said to let it (her) go and an exorcist who advised "She's made her choice" when I had determined she needed his help. It's been about five years since we parted company. I had helped her when she asked and when she left, leaving some information behind which suggested that she was clearly not the person I had known, I was fearful of encountering her again. I cried to God for her and still offer a prayer to that person for deliverance. But more than anything, I turned to the Lord from my ignorance because of what had transpired and that information she left behind. It was a real kick in the gut and a wake up call for me to turn fully and completely to God.

No one that has truly trusted Jesus Christ for their eternal life can ever be possessed or controlled by a demon because demons cannot occupy the space that is already occupied by the Holy Spirit! It’s that simple so if someone is possessed they have NEVER placed their faith completely in Jesus Christ. Satan made his intentions clear when he declared he would be like the Most High.
The other problem we have is the misunderstanding of how God is dealing with us after we believe. God is remaining silent and aloof in heaven at this time - much like he did during the 400 years of silence between Malachi and Matthew. Right now, and ever since the end of Acts, God is offering salvation (eternal life in the kingdom of his dear Son) by the acceptance of a free gift that does not have any strings attached like obedience or works of any kind. The trade off is the fact that accepting the free gift of eternal life is all that God is promising us - eternal life. He is not working things to the good in your life, helping you get the girlfriend or husband or job or good grades in school. He’s not punishing you either with illness or loss when you sin either. Israel had that kind of “if you do this for him, God will do that for you.” God is not a respecter of persons that he will heal one believer but not another. He isn’t healing anyone today.
God did have an “if, then” relationship with Israel but he expects us to be satisfied with the free gift and the promise of eternal life it includes. This came about because God let Israel go along with the kind of relationship he had with her, in Acts 28:28-31, when the leading rabbis blew Israel’s last chance to receive her promises! God then gave Paul the go-ahead to allow the pagans that had not even been allowed to be saved by faith in Christ before that (until the “children” were fed) to be saved by faith in Christ via that free gift that had not been available until then (Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV)! Before that, the believing Jews and Greeks had some laws and ordinances they were expected to keep (Acts 15; 21:20 KJV), but when they lost their preeminence with God as a nation, they became and were considered to be pagans also if they were not already saved by believing in their Messiah, which means everyone in the world today is a pagan to God unless or until the believe the gospel and accept the free gift. This will continue until Christ appears (Colossians 3:4 KJV). We cannot expect any miracles, healing, sign gifts like tongues and prophecy, visions, dreams, or even answered prayer! Anyone that really experiences any of those is most likely possessed.
Every human born is possessed by demons at conception simply because Satan holds the deed to the earth until Christ demands it back and that’s what faith in Christ accomplished - buying believers out of slavery to Satan by accessing the payment of Christ’s shed blood! That is why no one can cast demons out of someone else (even though demons will pretend to cooperate in order to make us think Catholic priests or evangelicals that aren’t saved because they think they can lose salvation by something they do or don’t do, which is NOT truly trusting Jesus Christ), have power over demons, when they don’t! Only by hearing the gospel of faith in Christ and believing it will cast out demons for the reason stated in this video - they receive the Holy Spirit and he drives out and protects the believer from any demon possession in the future; and because the believer is eternally secure in Christ (Ephesians 4:30 KJV), their salvation/eternal life can never be lost!
Also, the Israelites, and writers of the Old Testament/Jewish Bible, didn’t believe in a devil, demons, heaven or hell. God was the only oppressive spirit, as well as the creator of both good and evil. Then, many new beliefs entered the scene within the New Testament era, thanks to the Jews commingling with the Greeks, Romans, etc.

Demons were around since Adam and eva god created every thing but also gave free will you choose what you want to become.
@@masterjose8483Demons were created way before the first people. They chose to rebel against God by siding with Lucifer in his ill-fated plan to overthrow God. They want us to join them so that we go to the same fate they know awaits them - complete destruction.
