How far will you go as you keep on walking? The wind asks and I stand still With the first drum letting out a thump, One single life has begun Before long, seeking for something You spread open your little palms You have found them quickly This someone who is not you The candles for your birthday have increased, but You start a journey, away from your only home Even now, you look for something With your big eyes shining Inside your pocket There are, with someone who is not you.... Countless meetings Countless partings And a few memories which seem like illusions How far will you go as you keep on walking? The wind asks and you look to the sky We keep on walking, so where shall we go? Together with the wind, let's start walking again Let's step firmly on the earth and go anywhere Until we grasp the dream we were aiming for Let's step firmly on the earth and go anywhere Until we grasp the dream we were aiming for La-la-la-la....
Kaze to Issho Ni ("Together with the Wind") your family will always love the roadster with my new an adventure fantasy world of music and the Pokemon anime and manga world of just wondering about more questions about how are sing our songs.
I first encountered this song way back, when the internet was still under-developed. I downloaded a short video clip from an episode where Houndoom took care of Misty's lost Togepi. This song was playing in the background as a rainy scene faded into a bright sun with a rainbow. That moment at that time was SO MAGICAL, it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear that last part of the song, to this day! Of course our local TV station who aired that episode did not include this song. Because they must've thought it would be weird for kids to listen to Japanese... Obviously a mistake there. Some songs in anime and Japanese video games, are MEANT to stay in Japanese! I just wish that more localization teams would grasp that concept.
English Dub end credits music: Some late 90s pop songs to sell the soundtrack CD. Japanese end credits music: A beautiful song about leaving home and traveling the world.
It really made the episode for me because I associated this song with Musashi for YEARS, but I never thought they'd bring such an old song back and then, even use it in an episode focusing on her...!!!
that's the one in DP episode 154 when Ash gives his Gliscor to a trainer isn't it?? i was crying for hours......snif.... it's sad, but at the same time with hope "at every meeting, there's a parting"....i'll never forget that frase in that episode
FInally!! I have been looking for this song for years now! I have heard this song the first time about 12 years ago, when I was 5 years old, in an adverb for the Japanese movie, but incredibly all those years the song stuck in my mind. Not the whole song actually, but exactly and only that one melody from 2:50 to 3:00, accompanied by a picture of Ash. It was so hard to find this...
it sometimes seems crazy that pokemon in japan got one of the most talented enka singers to sing for them regularly. i guess the suzuki-san group could only exist in japan.
"Mewtwo's Counterattack" (movie 1) ending theme. This is beautiful. I made once a karaoke recording of this but it disappeared when my hard drive died..
Whenever I'm reading a book that mentions a song the first thing I have to do is play it to help set the mood. I was reading How a Realist and this song was mentioned. What a surprise it was to see the cover to a CD I've owned and have on my desk for nearly half my life.
Christopher Bridges when pokemon was a fucking awesome anime when i first listen these song i was WTF why they didnt put these in the english movie XD.
Reminds me of when Jessie released Dustox, ( Well Duh! It was in the episode!) I wish they would have pokemon episodes and movies in Japanese in English Subtitles online or a Dvd set of the original series uncut an unedited ( well other than the porygon part) that way we can hear these beautiful songs.
My Choir has to do this song for next years county wide chorus festival! And I won't take any bull crap excuses like "Its in Japanese" because we sang in German and Latin and Spanish! Not to menchion nobody would ever guess it was from pokemon. It's the on beautiful and foreign song ( well besides totoro) that I would'nt mind doing for choir.
@SoraTheKeyblader In terms of both music and story-telling, the first Pokemon movie is a great experience. Instead of a stupid little revenge story the dub turned it into, it's a well told tale of questioning self-worth, a "villain" (can we even call him that?), who's genuinely sympathetic, yet has proved himself as a worthy antagonist. You know, a CHARACTER? (something every Pokemon movie since has failed to provide) It's also well VERY scored, silent when necessary, and emotional too.
And 4Kids couldn't keep this song....why? Seriously, if 4Kids kept all of the movie's original Japanese music and silence (the only exception being the opening theme, I guess), this movie would have SO much better. :-(
Or at least, they can hire someone to sing the English version of this song. Western continent has so much good singer, I think there wouldn't be any difficulty to make it real.
I can seriously only name two songs that were in the Japanese version and kept in the English dub. "Secret Garden" from Pokemon Heroes, and "The Small One/Make a Wish" from Jirachi Wishmaker but they only kept half of that song and completely replaced the first half of the song with English lyrics that don't fit in with the Japanese.
This is from the togepi and houndoom episode - seeing raikou while traveling together. I was eagerly waiting for this episode to air cuz of this song! But to my disappointment it was taken out! .... \: Glad I watched the japanese part of this episode first ^^
@SoraTheKeyblader The TV Special sucked, Mewtwo acted entirely out of character whether it was the original, or dubbed. He was a total wimp. The original Pokemon movie (in it's original language) is the best thing the Pokemon universe (outside of the games) has to offer.
Pokémon the movie 🎥 (Hollywood Warner Bros Picture 1998 Anime an animated film 🎞) please be happy to see this song player “Kaze to Issho ni” (Together With the Wind) be singing 🎤 once a year for the first time it would make the world 🌎 we will have a wonderful kind characters and myself quest Pokémon Master was a young girl group my friend Mewtwo.

This song is unbelievably beautiful...it's driven me to tears every time I listen to it. Thank you so much for uploading.

Me too buddy

Nostalgia Critic needs to watch the Japanese version of this. It's totally different from the western one.
This is so much better than We're a Miracle and Don't Say You Love Me in every single way ever.
Also this is played at the beginning of Type: Wild!!!
I cried like a little girl because of this song while watching Dustox and Jessie's farewell . . .
It really made the episode for me because I associated this song with Musashi for YEARS, but I never thought they'd bring such an old song back and then, even use it in an episode focusing on her...!!!
pinokosthewife Team Rocket, am I right? ; D
Yeah! ;3;
that's the one in DP episode 154 when Ash gives his Gliscor to a trainer isn't it??

it's sad, but at the same time with hope

Also in 190 when Happiny evolves
Gee, even removed from Pokémon, this has got to be one of the most beautiful ending themes for a movie out there. And I mean that sincerely...
FInally!!

"Mewtwo's Counterattack" (movie 1) ending theme.
This is beautiful. I made once a karaoke recording of this but it disappeared when my hard drive died..
Oof
OMG I always think of Jessie and her mom when I hear this... I just can't help it.
懐かしくて涙出てきた
ポケモンでこれ超える歌あったら聴いてみたい
@karitheninja;
Yeap, Type Wild's harmonica riff in the beginning and end has melody took from this
Japanese songs are one of the reason that made me like Original version. They are so touched and perfect, not like English dub

F*ck, I cry when I listen to this song. Why??!!!!!!!
Don't worry, you're the only one. T_T

This song appears when Ash Release Gliscor...
Goodbye Gliscor T.T
Hay wá . Good
Isn't it Dokukeiru? That's what the name says in katakana.
The only song I know of that does not make you think of Pokemon
