I am decorating for an outdoor wedding on a little ranch and it would be sky high pricey or boring without FREE WOOD! I borrowed my brothers electric saw zall and used the method shown by Laura of Garden Answer to deconstruct 15 pallets! We got a ton of good wood but decided to use the splintered crappy knotty and broken pieces cause they had more character! More channels need to shout out FREE WOOD and help folks save $ and the planet!

I don't know how old ur kids are but alot of kids would love to sit and do crafts with mom. Just give them there own supplies to keep them busy while you work on yours. It takes longer than doing it kidless but it works and u r spending quality time w the kids!
@@kristineolver3268 I do, lol. Often. But only detailed things with my older two. My youngest are almost 3 whom has autism and he doesn't have receptive communication skills, nor does he communicate at all. So it's hard with him, tho we do color and paint in his own way often as well. And I have a 1 year old. So not much with him yet. LOL
@@kristineolver3268 I would just like a little bit of mommy time. Which I don't. But I'm trying. Between 3 therapies a week for my youngest two, and after-school activities and keeping a clean happy household it's a lot. 😅
@@briannemarie9214 lmao. I love my kids, I just don't have free time, b.c all that I have going on its hard for me to manage time. Esp when dad works and mom is the one who truly takes care of the kids, home, dinners, everything honestly. 😅 I'm lucky to get him to watch them while I run to store. 🙄🙃

I got some great wood beads for $5, on Amazon, during Prime Days, and I got a lot. I can't remember, now, how many were in the pack, but it was uch a fantastic deal, and they are a good quality.
My favorite has to be the Noel project, certainly can’t tell it was made from dt items.

Yessss I love the sand paper way to get clean sides and if you angle it up on top just a tad it gives it a rustic torn kinda look 🥰
If you need an older look you can soak the music sheets in some plain brewed tea for about five minutes or more lay them on a cookie sheet to dry out and then use them. That’s really pretty too
